I've had used a number of virtual event platforms over the years, and I can confidently say that none of them come close to the quality and experience that Remo provides. There are many different floor plans available to use for various kind of events, but if you want to create your own unique design, it can be a lot of work and effort. Crafting a custom floor plan requires careful consideration of many factors and specifications. The software has great features for speaking to a group and allows small breakout groups. It is visually beautiful and very flexible for the event organizers. It is a very complete software. With that, adding a sphere around each person to allow people to walk up for a quick conversation (like in virtual office meeting software). it allows more flexible organic networking, which i feel is something i sorely miss. it makes networking more powerful. In my opinion, the first thing that sets Remo apart is the level of immersion that it offers. Unlike other platforms where breakout rooms feel like an afterthought, Remo puts them at the forefront, by providing a virtual event space with a stage where participants are free to mingle around and hop from one area to the next. This makes the experience incredibly social and immersive for attendees, while still allowing hosts to remain in control. For hosts, Remo provides many settings such as the ability to assign seats to certain guests manually, shuffle groups, or allow attendees to freely choose which "table" to sit at, making it suitable for all kinds of community-driven virtual events. The option to shuffle groups adds another layer of dynamism, ensuring attendees get to connect with a wider range of people. Remo also has the ability to add interactive elements and content banners to these spaces such as embedded gadgets, videos, and iframe content to allow for more interaction between guests/attendees and hosts or sponsors. Apart from the venue floor, Remo allows hosts to seamlessly convene attendees into a webinar room at the click of a button for host-centered or presentation-focused interactions, making Remo ideally suited for networking events. In terms of ease of use, Remo has made great strides to improve the user interface and give us more controls on the front-end. And although certain items still require digging through the settings menu to adjust, menu options are still fairly easy to find in a few clicks. Setting up Remo is really simple. Admins are able to customize the interface and set the branding for both the host and any potential sponsors. In terms of integrations, I don't think Remo have any public API as yet, but I know this is on their roadmap. Like other similar tools, they also support Zapier, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Last but not least, I found support to be really great and responsive. The company is really eager to gather our feedback and improve their product. The few times that I had the pleasure to interact with support about suggestions I had, they were quick to reply, and considered adding some of the ideas I suggested to their roadmap. All in all, I think Remo is a great tool for those looking to hosts immersive events where interaction between attendees is part of the desired experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Remo Conference? While Remo excels at creating immersive experiences, I think it could benefit from widening the range of integrations that it offers. As of this review, the platform only integrates with Zapier, which may be limiting to users who would prefer using other integration solutions. Another sore point is the lack of a dedicated mobile app, which may seem like an anachronism in 2024 especially to those who normally prefer joining events on the go. The last negative point is the price. Small businesses or those running free or unsponsored events might find the asking price a bit too steep compared to simpler web conferencing tools. There's the general "floor" of a virtual conference where you can see a beautifully displayed background with pulsating avatars of all the attendees at "tables" and those that are in the general room. Also, Remo is basically an all-in-one comprehensive platform for any type of virtual event that will involve video, not just webinars. Honestly, I have used Remo to its fullest capacity yet because I'm still trying to learn how to use the software like it's supposed to be used (hence, the slight learning curve). Performing a weekly event (or even monthly) can be a bit of a pain. The links are always different, so people have to register for each event.
