"Great platform for networking and conference type events"
What do you like best about Remo Conference?

The best feature in the presentation mode is that you can bring the guests or speakers to the stage which gives a feeling similar to an in-person event. In the networking mode, the tables can be arranged in different styles and numbers, with the ability to organise on different floors. To top it all, it can handle a large number of users, like even 400 without causing significant technical issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remo Conference?

Even though it is easy to navigate and understand, it is confusing and difficult sometimes for first-time users. Maybe there should be some intuitive help icons around features where users can be given some tips on how to use the platform to the best of its ability - like using the chat function to talk to people on your table as well as how to write messages in general chat. Also, maybe adding tips to encourage engagement like when you turn on the camera on your table, only the people on your table can see and hear you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nice concept, but has a long way to go."
What do you like best about Remo Conference?

I loved being able to have a nice, big visual timer that showed people that their time was counting down. I also liked the virtual table setup for exhibitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remo Conference?

This is the most inaccessible software of its kind that I have used in what has now been nearly two years of attending conventions virtually. Most of the screen is not screen-reader accessible because the text is rendered into images and does not allow for alt text. This means anyone with visual impairments or language processing disorders has no way to use this software. There is no way to navigate without being able to click on a spot on the screen. The only way for a blind or dyslexic person to navigate is by running the text through OCR and then through a reader.

Further to this, there is no built-in captioning to speak of. In a world where every device and most presentation software can deliver close to accurate captions, this means Remo is shutting out d/Deaf, hard of hearing users, foreign language users who use text to help support their comprehension, and anyone else who relies on captioning.

It is also limited in terms of what browsers and devices it runs on. Many of our speakers had last-minute access issues because their very common home software setups were not compatible with Remo and they had not thought to check in advance because they had not run into incompatibility issues of this type before. Again, this is an access issue that disproportionately impacts not just disabled people who have to have a more rigid setup for their tech but also lower income people who may not have a home computer and rely on a phone for internet access.

Remo is cute software and has a lot of potential but as of August when I used it, it was only successful for a limited audience. Using it means you will be limiting your audience, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It was cute - felt like I was playing a game :)"
What do you like best about Remo Conference?

Like the title, it felt like I was playing a game! Like I was the little avatar, and my job was moving around and doing tasks, except the task was to attend and pay attention to the speaker, of course.

The design/interface was cute, with little tables and stuff.

I liked going up and down floors and moving across tables, exactly like a game! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remo Conference?

I had some issues when I didn't have a work email yet: I had to contact the organizer and get added to the list to get access.

I didn't like that you were connected automatically to everyone at the table; I was playing around the day before and logged out when I was at an empty table, the next day I started from the same place, but there were people there, so I had to move away ASAP to avoid an awkward moment XD

On the plus side, it felt like a game. On the negative side, I had to restrain myself from moving around and checking everything out; I would've loved it if there was a floor or table or some hidden surprises that actually were games or game-related. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Come for the features, stay for the customer service."
What do you like best about Remo Conference?

The best thing was the customer service. I had every question answered quickly and correctly. The live chat feature was a lifesaver when setting up my event. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remo Conference?

I wish there were more up-to-date resources. Since the platform is still being developed, I understand not everything is up to date, but having little 30 second tutorials for the newest features would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly effective utilization of Live conferencing and event hosting with different tables."
What do you like best about Remo Conference?

The ease of use and the way the host can govern and regulate the course of actions. It is capable of integrating with various and a variety of third-party applications, for example ScheduleOnce, SimplyBook.me, Calendly, LinkedIn, HeySummit, YouTube and etc. and many more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remo Conference?

The high pricing and no options for students to utilize the services. The cost is also a hindrance for many small scale users across the world, and thus make REMO Limited in terms of accessibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
