We choose to let our employees take anything they want - I love that we can do that. I also appreciate the changes made to the reporting engine. While I'm still tweeking things, the changes are definitely a positive. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** I really want to have a dynamic checklist available. We have a need for a checklist that can be access by multiple people and can be completed as otj is completed. The most logical place for us to house this is in Relias; however, the functionality is not there. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have been able to use the courses as part of our individual performance improvement efforts. If we have an employee that is struggling in one area, we can assign them Relias courses not already part of our training plans that can help support employees with their individual needs. ### 2. The platform has updated and new features added regularly. They are responsive to feedback from the customers and they are very supportive of the Administrator. They also are interested in what we, the customer suggest as improvements and they are adapt the platform to the customer needs. They roll out features based on what is needed. They also have a strong support system for their RAMP Administrators. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** Relias can sometimes be a one size fits all that doesn't always match. For example, we only allow Administrators to accept external training certificates, but Relias is set up to allow Learning Supervisors and Administrators to accept certificates and not just Administrators, so we don't allow learners to submit certificates through relias as the supervisors don't approve those. So I think as we move forward getting those little fine tuning would help. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes managing our Learning Requirements so easy! ### 3. I wish there were a way to enroll people directly from their user profile, rather than only being able to do it through the module. Also, on the module list, it would be helpful to have an option to enroll users from there, instead of having to open the module first and then go to the enrollment button to access the list of eligible users. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Compliance is the main reason we use this. It is provided based on facility choice, so not everyone has access to it. It is not user friendly. Make it easier by using less steps to accomplish this. I like that the system has the ability to automatically convert PowerPoint into SCORM. I can also easy create and add training to Relias. Honestly, what I like most about Relias is our Client Rep, who responds to calls/emails timely and has spent a great deal of time training myself and my new colleague on the system. He has been most helpful in supporting us through our learning curve. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** The reports could be more automated. For instance, I have to manually change the dates to run weekly survey analysis reports for about 50 reports. I which there was an option for weekly reports like there is for monthly. **Recommendations to others considering Relias Platform:** Use your Client Rep, they are here to support you. I've seen it expand and change over the years and appreciate that Relias works to be responsive to the needs of its user organizations. It is a good solution for covering most training requirements. I still bump into ways it could be better, but find Relias folks receptive to hearing abou that and sincerely interested in improving. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** Too many of the training modules are still text only, which some of my Learners find not very engaging. OHSA issued a letter of interpretation stating that electronic training on its own does not meet OSHA's training requirements because the learner does not have the opportunity to ask questions of the trainer in this format. Consequently, to be in compliance, employers need to supplement electronic training by adding an in-person Q&A session. The same thing happened to several other people on my team. Sent message under help and never received response and had to end up going back in from the beginning. Putting together annual training plans is a breeze. And as courses update, they are updated in the training plans. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** Like anything, there can be hiccups, and I call tech support to help me figure it out. So far, there hasn't been a problem they could not handle, which makes my job so much easier. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can keep our caregivers up to date and ensure they can care for our clients. It's so simple, and they can do their courses on their phone, computer or tablet - they don't have to come into the office. ### 35. Too many clicks and pop-up windows exist to launch content and complete an exam. For the administration side, it could be easier to auto-enroll new hires into Training Plans. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** Annual Mandatory Training for All Staff, Relias helps us track completions. I love training new staff on Relias and showing them all the things it is capable of! I've never used any other LMS but, when I came to WW, the #1 request was to "fix" Relias. Relias didn't need fixing, it just needed to be set up correctly - and now it's a system that employees use and rely on and trust to provide accurate info. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** It seems that whenever something gets escalated to "engineering", it goes into the black hole and you never hear anything about it. They make changes to their product very often due to customer reviews. They not only care about the end user, but also the administrator who does not have all day to learn the platform. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** A learning environment or a sandbox would be advantageous mostly for the beginning. Other than that is a great product. Users who are searching for a course are no longer able to type in a course code to quickly locate it. We cannot clone our self-authored courses. When assigning courses, there is no way to establish an availability date. That has to be done after the course was assigned and all are enrolled. We can't assign courses as "optional" that would disappear on a given date. We can't print a PDF of self-authored courses. We can't create a training plan with the option to complete the live course OR view the video. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** RLMS allows me to educate more than 500 team members who work various shifts and different days of the week. This saves time, keeps us in compliance with regulatory agencies, and improves safety and quality of life. ### 40. Have never used a competitor **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** Training plans don't automatically update or impact all enrolled users when settings are updated. You have to toggle on a setting that has a warning associated with it. It'd be better to have a checkbox option IN the training plan settings that says "allow changes to affect all enrolled users." If it's unchecked, it won't do that. If it is checked, it does it for you. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** The state mandates us to have all client-facing staff take 20 hours of training in their relevant field. This was the impetus behind mass rollout and it has enabled our company to maintain compliance with all governing bodies, assisting us as we scale nationwide. ### 41. It seems to be improving the system and making it more user-friendly. It's obvious that the Relias team is trying to listen to clients and improve the system. It isn't always as intuitive as it should be, and we are frequently still running into problems or having trouble finding solutions; however, the Relias team has been working hard to answer questions and provide support whenever possible. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** The system is not always intuitive. You can think you are setting up things correctly, and then something weird happens. It also seems confusing when you are adding your own modules...this could be a bit easier. There are glitches like not being able to upload a PowerPoint with notes or videos taking a very long time to upload that make it challenging. I would like to see more hospice specific content added including hospice specific competencies. **What problems is Relias Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to be compliant with our training/education. It would be really nice if Relias tracked the requirements from various accrediting organizations, state regulations, and federal regulations for hospice so that we could easily see in digital format where Relias is helping us to meet these requirements. ### 42. The reports are old and hard to use. The user list is frustrating. Looking at a users training plan is next to impossible. The selection of trainings available is lacking. Many of the WA-DSHS courses don't apply to our setting or are out dated. Very flexible and mostly able to construct our site to fit our specific needs. **What do you dislike about Relias Platform?** Least Helpful: First one coming to mind is that due dates are not able to be assigned tied to a specific date as opposed to the completion date or/ DOH.
