Good system diminished by frustrating support. **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2023 **What do you like best about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** The level of configuration and adaptability the system can have. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** ETQ Community -> Support Cases is too basic and confusing. - You have to jump from open or closed searches to try to find a particular case/service request where the case number is unknown, there is no view all cases/service requests. - Cannot export information from site to do a proper analysis of the issues reported, frequency, status, dates, etc. - Cases are closed "proactively closed" even when your issue has not been resolved yet. - When cases are transferred to "bugs" you lose all traceability to your issue as the case is closed and there is no access/visibility for users to the bug number provided. - When a case has multiple comments and you go to “view all” although it gives you an arrow to expand the comments, it does not work. So, you cannot expand them to read the entire comment loosing important information about the history of the case. Daily Support Model/Process: - System is glitchy, issues come out of nowhere and just as they show up, they disappear. - Too many support resources on one issue, causes confusion, extra work on the user reporting the issue explaining multiple times what the issue is about, providing all kinds of screenshots, recordings, system PDFs to multiple support resources. - Support resources first answer is to point fingers to user errors, FDA, etc… never to ETQ itself, at least trying to investigate if there is something on ETQ’s side to be fixed first before (or at same time) asking users to go somewhere else to find a potential solution. - Sense of urgency could be improved. Even when you request a meeting right from the beginning at the case description, support resource ignores it and follows same process that results in going back and forth loosing time and not resolving the issue itself. - Bugs open for more than one year. - When we ask if something will be impacted due to a release, we get feedback that everything will be fine and then after update is implemented, it does get impacted. - ETQ has 2 times deployed changes to our production environment without our approval. - If not everything most of the above has been escalated in our weekly meetings with Laura Schneider. **What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reducing time in our process: -Automation of steps in our process - ERPs integration ### 22. The new UX (v23 and NXG) is clean and efficiant. Staff is easy and enjoyable to work with and when issues come up, the service desk has been helpful. Also, I have to give props to my Customer Success Manager...when issues can't be resolved, she gives them a little push and we eventually get the resolution. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** Sometimes when new releases are made, some attributes get dropped and that can be hard to recover from. Some of the designer built-in setups are hard to change. In the newest version, which was a complete face-lift, some convenient features were removed. These seem to be making their way back into the system. **Recommendations to others considering Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance):** This system is going to be better than any other system you may have used. It will take time to learn and master, but will serve you very well. The new version of Reliance has a more modernized look and is fairly easy to use, due to consistency between all modules offered. **What problems is Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance) solving and how is that benefiting you?** All of our document control, assets (calibration), safety incident reporting, corrective action, Management of Change, and many more. We have recently began looking at Mobile applications to allow our users to complete forms out in the field, or at the actually jobsite. We even used etq for a Daily Covid requirement check and created the form at the request of our General Manager. We recently implemented the Meetings module and configured it to serve us in a multitude of functions. We store our Management Review, Monthly Safety Meetings, other team-based meetings, and even Safety Drills (Tornado/Emergency Evacuations). ### 47. The customer service team and sales team really take amazing care of you and really do have your best interest at heart. They integrate with our ERP making the connection harmonized and data always at your fingertips with the mobil platform as well. **What do you dislike about Octave Reliance (ETQ Reliance)?** The only downside is the applications being broken up in a way that you may not have access to all of them but I love that we can modify our contract to add any additional applications at any time.
