"Reliable, Predictable Technology with a Great Reviewer and Admin Experience"
4/5
What do you like best about Relativity?

Useful technology. Reliable and predictable. Good user experience for reviewers and admin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

The training materials, while detailed are challenging to navigate. I find it odd, in a competitive market, that there are fees to take exams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Relativity: Speedy Document Retrieval, Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Relativity?

I have been using Relativity for about ten years for investigations and disclosure exercises, and I am delighted with how its performance has significantly improved over time. Initially, it was quite slow, but now it retrieves potentially relevant documents quicker than ever before, which is incredibly beneficial for my workflow. My recent experience setting up Relativity has been very smooth, which was a welcome change. The presence of good customer success managers, who are informative and helpful, adds tremendous value. Additionally, the introduction of features like Air for review is a game-changer; it helps to save weeks of time that we would have spent manually reviewing documents. I rate the platform a solid 10 out of 10 for all these benefits, making it a must-recommend product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I would like to see faster improvements based on user feedback. Although Relativity does eventually update the tool to include requested features, the process takes several weeks. Faster implementation of small feature requests, such as those related to Relativity contracts, would significantly enhance the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improved Usability, but Still Some Clunkiness"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Relativity?

I really value the features of Relativity that allow me to tag and sort different documents, which significantly aid in understanding the importance, origin, and destination of these documents. This functionality helps me mentally grasp the case flow and discern what actually occurred, enhancing my comprehension of the cases I work on. Moreover, the capabilities for mapping and searching documents to identify correlations and determine who was working on similar tasks concurrently prove to be quite useful in my work. Additionally, I have grown comfortable with Relativity, especially appreciating the different training sessions that are available, which make it very user-friendly. This comfort level and user-friendliness are major reasons why I would choose Relativity again over other software. My growing familiarity with Relativity and its encompassing features make it a preferred choice for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I find the setup process for Relativity to be a bit clunky and boxy, experiencing lag and spinning, which disrupted workflow and required downtime, like taking breaks to play ping pong. The interface can be a bit chunky, necessitating the use of additional tools like Chech GPT to synthesize information effectively. Furthermore, the presence of three different search bars in the workspace appears unnecessary and confusing, complicating the task of searching through documents and data. There is also lingering clunkiness in the system that I think still needs to be addressed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Relativity?

I really like the fact that we don't need to worry about infrastructure and all the headaches and costs that go along with that. I also like that there are updates almost weekly and testing new features is fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

Because we aren't true system administrators, we can't control the environment. Sometimes it takes awhile for jobs to be picked up and there isn't much you can do besides wait. While Support does respond within SLAs, they often need to escalate internally before a true solution is found. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined eDiscovery with Intuitive Interface"
4/5
What do you like best about Relativity?

I find Relativity incredibly intuitive, making it much easier to set up and use compared to other platforms I've seen. The ease of use is complemented by its advanced technology which continuously impresses me. I'm particularly fond of the structured analytics, advanced analytics, and generative AI features that Relativity offers. These capabilities are highly valuable as they help in efficiently handling and streamlining large eDiscovery datasets, allowing us to review them faster. After using it for thirteen years, I still appreciate its ability to solve complex problems in document reviewing, making my workflow significantly more effective. Relativity's value is further evident in its provision of a comprehensive suite of features that enhance its utility for end-to-end eDiscovery tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Evolved into Industry Standard with Some Price Concerns"

What do you like best about Relativity?

I appreciate the evolution of Relativity over the years, noting it has become much more user-friendly for both end users and administrators, which is a significant improvement from when I first started using it fifteen years ago. I find it exciting to work with the new applications and products that Relativity constantly releases, especially when incorporating AI to creatively solve business problems for clients. It's reassuring to see that Relativity listens to its users and continually incorporates feedback into its roadmap, leading to an ever-evolving process that constantly improves. I find the Review Center to be an excellent addition, highlighting it as one of the best developments for Relativity in recent years. I also value some of the updates to the AIR products, particularly AIR for review, and I think the prompt help feature is amazing. Overall, I believe Relativity is the best product on the market for reviewing platforms, using it every day and absolutely loving it. It stands out as the default response when people inquire about review platforms. The seamless integration of proprietary software and third-party add-ons is another aspect I value, despite not using anything outside the norm. In terms of functionality, Relativity's ability to consistently improve and adapt by launching more products and applications to enhance workflows and processes is something I genuinely appreciate. What do you dislike about Relativity?

I find the overall price of Relativity to be a significant drawback. While the features and toolset are impressive, it becomes a constant struggle to justify the high cost, especially for cases that do not warrant such an expensive product. Clients often express a willingness to pay less for a version that lacks some of the advanced features, which many of them do not need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Leading Choice for Legal Review Excellence"
5/5
What do you like best about Relativity?

I find Relativity to be the best legal review program I've encountered so far. Its seamless integration into our systems and the quality of support it provides are outstanding. I appreciate how Relativity continues to improve its features without compromising on performance. The AI capabilities have notably sped up the review process, making it more seamless, which is a tremendous asset in our workflow. I'm particularly impressed with the import/export functionality in express transfer and the automated workflows, as they are much more user-friendly and efficient compared to the outdated RDC. Additionally, the improvements in feature permissions have made administrative tasks significantly easier by providing clearer user access insight. When compared to other competitors, Relativity's performance stands out, which is a key reason I would choose to use it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I find that there needs to be more automated workflows in Relativity. While the tool is efficient, I believe there is untapped potential in leveraging automated workflows to enhance efficiency even further. Furthermore, the sentiment analysis feature requires significant improvement to meet the needs effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

If there was anything to change, it would be the clunky of the user interface. It requires too many clicks to perform simple task. Also, they can incorporate more AI features such as automatic summaries. And they can also update their pricing transparency to ensure customers know exactly what they are paying for.
