**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The best feature I like in Relativity is It's document and metadata presentation which makes review and analysis very easy and fast. Data processing speed as compare to other tools is also good

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

During the Relativity Processing, if we try to get the error report and go to Files tab. We are not able to apply filters. Even if we select a specific custodian or Processing Set in the filters, still we get the value from entire workspace.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing, Imaging and OCR, and running STRs are very handy in ralativity. We can view or pull out the reports in detail and in different layouts from Ralativity.

  ### 3. A Decade in Relativity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

There are so many processes integrated integrated into one platform: database, processing, review, searching, analytics, productions.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

From an Administration perspective, the set up could be a lot easier. It would also help if something were automatic like email threading and they didn't need to be run

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its acquisition of TextIq means that its analytics engine will improve meaning that it is more reliable when I'm running a project.

  ### 4. eDiscovery Analyst; Relativity Expert

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

The saved searches UI and ability to organize the workspace; The new 2021 functionality of adding choices directly to newly created fields

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Inability to mass add/remove users to groups; Inability to mass create users; Inability to easily move searches from one workspace to another without utilizing a RAP file; Inability to work in multiple workspaces at once with one login

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Classification SQL and CAL model visual

  ### 5. Relativity is always searching for improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janio F. | Senior Ediscovery Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

I don't like about some limitation in Regex.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity may be solving some issues regarging regex search.

  ### 6. Great Email Threading Visualisation but expensive licensing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison B. | Senior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

RelativityOne is highly secure and requires little upkeep by service providers. It provides powerful analytics for large data collections and there is reasonably prompt support for technical issues. The Email Threading visualisation tool is very helpful if users are competent enough to use all of its features. The Automated workflow features are a welcome recent addition.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

De-duplication features for non technical duplicates could be improved (i.e. they are detected in the Email Thread Visualisation as 'Other Emails' which is great, but there is no field/grouping value to enable removal of these items from a review set). The chronology features in Case Dynamics are not yet fully robust. The regex features in Structured Analytics (to remove footers for example) need to be made more easily accessible/testable and connected to the Repeated Content analytics. Email login invitations to the platform should be more customisable. The high per user monthly licensing cost can be offputting- it would be good to be able to produce reports easily to show if users are not actually logging in and using the platform.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use RelativityOne every day to manage data collections of all sizes, and cut down the sets requiring review using various analytics.

  ### 7. Study materials & Study sources both are very helpful in gaining knowledge & clearing exams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhruv D. | Litigation Support Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Processing & Reviewing relativity is very easy to use. Relativity nowadays is the most efficient tool & used by almost all firms as the main tool.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Nothing yet if I will face any problem related to relativity I will let know the relativity community for sure by email.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Almost all problems that are required to complete the EDRM cycle.

  ### 8. RelativityOne - From Someone Who Has Always Been On the Other Side of the Fence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith N. | S, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Very fresh and clean UI. End to End workflows include holds, collections, processing, ECA, review and production and don't forget integrated Case Dynamics to build case strategy by linking facts, issues, docs and key entitites. Flexible processing. Strong built-in analytics. Unlimited customization of user rights and views.

Calder7 Security Team and flexible pricing and licensing options. Friendly and knowledgeable team.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

As clean as the UI is, it's not very clear at times to understand which custom view you are working in and the tasks each custom view can perform. Included and integrated analytics are great to have, but they can be cumbersome to set up. Text IQ integrations have a long runway to be ready for primetime integration with RelativityOne.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Take a look at RelativityOne if you need a proven and robust eDiscovery management platform. Take it from someone who has always been working with other companies and competing against Relativity until now. They are the market leader for a reason and constantly strive to make their solutions better and better.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By partnering with RelativityOne, we can help our clients address business challenges related to cost containment, data transparency, and data security. Our partnership with the Relativity team is paramount to our success in serving our clients.

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Intuitive. Flexible/adaptive. You can make it what you need.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Very buggy when using more than one tab for a workspace or working in more than one workspace at a time.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly organizing and reviewing evidence. I can also use it as a database / repository.

  ### 10. Data management software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

We can store and sort client data in this easily. It gives data protection from outside theft and keep the data in sorted manner which helps in analysis of files. We can also store our personal files in this.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

It is a little costly software which is not affordable by all the business. Also there are several files that converts into bin files automatically when they are uploaded in it.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want data management for your project then must use this

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was working on a project where there was many files, with the help of this software i was able to sort them among team members for forensic analysis and also allocated each custodian to every team members for analysis.

  ### 11. I find Relativity to be a very good eDiscovery solution

Full-featured, mature product that is customizable to handle any project

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Needs better UX in some areas and navigation can be slow

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps us collect, process, analyze and produce data during litigation or investigations

  ### 13. It's help me in every aspect. As even a basics things was deeply written and easy to understand.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the most about it is, it helps me to work very easily and even more interestingly.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

As of there's no drawback of it as it's a source of learning too and the thing froom which we gets any knowledge, it cannot have any drawback in any aspect.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While reviewing in Relativity it helps me a lot, to understand the terms and apply accordingly as suggested it is helpful.

  ### 14. Relativity advanced user review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Its ability to make structure from non-structured data (and consolidate it from the most popular sources of non-structured data).

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Its flexibility. It is both a blessing (for advanced users like me) and a curse (for new users who have to work with different databases with different names for "Document ID").

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mostly solving the problems of being able to sort and filter massive amounts of un-structured data.

  ### 15. Data files management software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

We can easily manage client as well as personal data files in this easily for forensic analysis. It is a safe was to protect sensitive information on which we are doing analysis.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

It sometimes doesn't seperate the data on which key words filter is applied, which make the work more timely and provide hinder in analysis of the various files.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want to protect sensitive data and perform analysis this must use this.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have done forensic analysis on the files using various keywords filter which saved time for me and it was easy to allocate files to the team members for analysis using its features.

  ### 16. I enjoy using Relativity because it makes my life easier.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the intuitiveness of the platform. Administering Relativity for my case teams is easy and intuitive; it can hold a large amount of data without being overburdened; processing data is far easier than within IPro and with less errors; I feel like the company is invested in its users by offering certifications, webinars and other knowledge materials. Access to the Relativity community is a game-changer since you can interact with other users and find solutions or workflows that you may not have considered. It's great to use Relativity as a review database as well as an early case assessment tool.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There are too many buttons to click to do a job, particularly in processing. I don't like the layout for document and job errors within the processing console and I would prefer that it take less clicks to start and continually monitor processing jobs. Once processing sets are created, I should be to mass inventor, discover and publish processing sets than than having to go into each one separately. Also, there should be better/more information on why a document has received the processing error designation.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

We use the on-premise version but RelativityOne has more and newer features.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems of basic document processing, indexing, review and searching. Email threading, near duplicate detection and comparisons, and repeated content filters are used often in our analytics console. We also use the unstructured analytics of active learning to help us cut down our review time and costs. The STR (search term reports feature) is a life-saver as we've been able to easily and quickly identify specific documents using different views and searches. The administrator's guide is too lengthy and unnecessarily complicated and convoluted.

  ### 17. Relativity Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It is best for organizing unstructured data.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

the flexibility of the software suite is both a benefit and a detriment (the detriment being that it is hard to teach to new people).

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

It is the market leader for a reason.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the general problem of e-discovery data review. the benefits are that we have been able to do so with various different data sources.

  ### 18. Data management made easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I can sort my all data at one place, distribution of data among team for analysis is easy, we can do analysis on any form of data as their is no restriction on this.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Data filtering is not great, many duplicate entry are seen and there is no proper features to remove this.due to this data analysis take time and also its interface is old.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want the meaningful data for analysis purpose and further analysis then must use this.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have cleaned and done analysis on client data for further review purposes. I have done email analysis and documentation for his financial data analytics. All the data can be easily seen in one screen

  ### 19. Relativity is the best litigation tool a law firm can have

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Ability to process, manage, review and produce large volumes of documents. The workspace and interface can be tailored to specific review needs. In addition, there are tools like Case Dynamics that allow you to build your case as you review documents. Within one week of receiving documents, the database already has documents tagged and hyperlinked to key issues, likely deponents/witnesses and a case timeline.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The workspace options don't seem intuitively organized. The menus and submenus are needlessly complex and hard to remember.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Relativity is the best database I've used to process, organize and manage the mountains of data and information commonly produced in ediscovery. It has also become an important litigation tool for preparing for depositions, hearings and trials.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling, reviewing and producing very large document productions from both clients and adversary parties. Organizing cases on the fly saves time, especially for deposition preparation.

  ### 20. Great for easily working upon in eDiscovery domain.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** raghav j. | Senior Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Its User Interface is Quiet easy to use and is also feels like a tool to work upon. The major plus is its lighting speed to handle data sets and play around with data.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

If you ask me as such not a particular thing I don't like in reativity But yes, one thing would like to point out is mapping in relativity can be better. Some times it is very tiering process.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work on large sets of data and make it ready buy using relativity's applications, and this is what makes my life easy as in one place I can do most of the process related to EDRM Cycle.

  ### 21. Great data storage software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It can store any format files and we can do analysis in that. Data analysis to data mining we can do anything in this. All it is a cloud based software which does not require space.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

It has limited filters which makes the analysis time consuming. Also in keywords section it has limited options. File preview section is a bit small in size for analysis.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want data management software which is easy to use and lightweight than go for it

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked in a team for a project, we could easily share files in that and disturbed equal amount of workloads in this. Which had saved time and cost in the project

  ### 22. RelativityOne understands eDiscovery can't be managed with an easy button approach.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark B. | Director, Litigation Support - Regional Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

RelativityOne is the best-in-class eDiscovery solution for practitioners who understand eDiscovery is not easy. It provides our developers, analysts, project managers and specialists with the means to build customized solutions that are specifically tailored to our client's requirements. It also provides intuitive navigation and top-notch analytics to our attorneys, paralegals and other support staff. In short, RelativityOne has empowered us to provide cost-efficient solutions for our client's eDiscovery needs.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There's nothing I dislike about RelativityOne full stop. When we have suggestions on how to improve our experience in RelativityOne, our customer success team (the hardest working people in the busness) enlist the appropriate resources to address those suggestions and over see them as they are moved forward.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want to maximize your ability to support client/customer eDiscovery needs, look no further than Relativity.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ESI processing, culling, review and production. We use Structured Analytics (eMail threading, name normalization, near duplicate detectionand repeated content identification) on every case ... and Conceptual Analytics (clustering, communication analysis, and Continuous Active Learning) when warranted. Search term reporting is a tremendous tool for addressing proportionality issues on low value cases. There's not enough room to identify all the ways in which RelativityOne has helped us wrangle eDiscovery projects for our clients.

  ### 23. A one stop solution for processing and hosting needs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The straightforwardness with which Relativity attempts to process complex data sets and the easy-to-use Analytics solutions incorporated within.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Scripts provided in the template could be more, a larger bank for common day to day tasks

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the need for a review platform.

  ### 24. Asset to add to your skill set

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is the most known platform that I have ever used. There are varying sides do the platform so it does not get boring.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There are times during heavy use that caused the program to be extremely slow.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prelitigation document review

  ### 25. We use Relativity for processing, review and production.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Speed for processing as well as the large number of file formats supported. Review is straight foward and allows users to quickly and easily see the documents of interest. Productions allow us to easily port over all work product to finalize document productions.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Doc to doc speed can use some improvement. Likewise more verbose error reporting for processing errors would be helpful. Finally a specific warning identifying any documents without images at the time of production.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

A single solution that provides what we previously had to rely on multiple products to accomplish.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking a large amount of data from a client and narrowing it down to the documents that need to be produced. Identifying privileged documents for exclusion. The wide range of search options and analytics helps efficiently drill down to what we need.

  ### 26. Relativity Review

Support from partners and learning opportunities on Relativity website

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Customers can complain about that it is slow at times

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is solving our customers problems in regards to eDiscovery. We can leverage the Relativity team if we need support

  ### 27. Relativity Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navin J. | Senior - Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The best part about relativity is that it is operation friendly or user friendly. We can easily download exports and use excel python to do advanced analysis and apply formulas.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

When compared with other review platforms like Documatrix or Omnix, Relativity is a bit slow and takes up time to load to the next page. Search term highlighting is one area where Relativity can speed up the process.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly Document collection, processing, and document review. It is cost-effective and highly customizable to create different searches and catch logical errors.

  ### 28. Relativity Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is user-friendly and easy to learn how to use efficiently. Relativity can easily separate multiple incoming and outgoing productions. It makes it easy to locate the various productions in the database.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Relativity can be expensive depending on the size of the matter that is placed into Relativity. Also, you are at the mercy of the project manager when it comes to uploading and producing documents.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Relativity is great to use when you have very large matters with various forms of electronic data.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity enables the firm to review very large productions easily and produce large amounts of electronic data. Relativity makes the review process more efficient.

  ### 29. Great eDiscovery platform that is evolving continuously

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity (especially RelativityOne) provide a full service platform from processing through production, including ML/analytics functionalities.
My favourite features include Relativity Collect, Redact, the customizable review interface, active learning, email threading and scipts.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Some of the platform extensions (e.g. Case Dynamics) are not as customizable as I ideally would like it.
Sometimes support is a little bit slow across timezones since some tasks can only be handled by the US support; this has significantly improved in recent years, but there is still a little way to go.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Reach out to Relativity's excellent account management and client success management teams to make the most of your Relativity instance.
Join Relativity Fest to get in touch with Relativity and the community.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We help our clients to resolve a broad range of challenges in the area of unstructured data (e.g. documents, lose files) using Relativity.
RelativityOne brings a lot of great features streamlining eDiscovery processes, including data collection. This eases the pressure on case teams significantly.

  ### 30. A popular and comprehensive platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It has almost everything you need for eDiscovery, from collection to production. The support and solution teams were excellent. They have cultivated large user groups, almost everyone has used Relativity, which is probably the most successful eDiscovery platform.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Some features need improvement. It will be great if Relativity could have a more intuitive user interface (autosave coding result instead of clicking the save button, side-by-side comparison of documents). Analytics and AI features can be improved too.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

It won't be wrong if you choose Relativity.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It meets our business needs, including processing, review and production. It is the one-station solution for our practice. Very convenient, powerful features, and by far the most popular ediscovery platform in the market.

  ### 31. I find relativity very user friendly and the results are very accurate. Very useful platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Need more videos on relativity community for beginners to learn from. The information on the website is not very easily understandable for beginners. Practical help will be useful

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Try it to experience it. It's is very convenient to use and very helpful in quick searches and finding relevant documents depending on the requests we receive so makes work very quick and easy.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Ability to drill down to key documents.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Nothing at this time that I can think of.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

Great tool for EDiscovery

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding key information very quickly.

  ### 34. I love Relativity's user customisation feature and fluid user friendly UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavan K. | Global Advisory Council, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

One of the best features of the Relativity platform is the ability to let the customers develop their tools or add-ons on top of Relativity. Relativity is the only one that offers this in the forensic investigation space.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

For some features or functions to accomplish the tasks, you may need to do many steps, and fewer steps would be better. I see Relativity is already working on it. For example, in the older version, there are many steps involved to step Analytical index, but now it is just a few clicks.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

I would highly recommend Relativity as a review platform. It is not because the leading review platform globally it is because of its passion for simplifying things the users and always staying ahead of the curve to cater the ever-changing industry needs and emerging new electronic data sources and data types

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the forensic investigation space, we have millions of documents to review and find the most relevant documents to produce to as per the order of court. Relativity's helpful features like emailthreading, assited technology review, near dupe analysis and more helps in accelerating the review and find the most relevant documents from a pool of millions of documents very quickly and efficiently.

  ### 35. Relativity - Flexible all-rounder

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akim G. | Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is an excellent platform for document review and organization. Relativity's primary focus is on eDiscovery, and document review, but it has many additional usage possibilities. Documents can be organized in Workspaces and within a Workspace in folders with freely adjustable access rights. Imaging, OCR, Name Normalization, E-Mail Threading can be beneficial for work with unstructured and partially structured data. Scripts and Applications extend the platform possibilities making it a highly adjustable suite of tools.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Each Relativity instance requires multiple Windows Servers and Microsoft SQL Servers, making it a big initial investment followed by a high maintenance cost.
Another critical point, which is present in almost all DMS or review platforms, super administrators have access to everything, which is helpful, while being a super administrator, but can become a problem, when you deal with highly sensitive data.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps in the sort, analysis, and systematic review of large amounts of documents, be it for eDiscovery or contract Analysis.

  ### 36. Relativity provides the tools we need from processing to analytics to document review to production.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caroline P. | Manager of eDiscovery Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Dashboards and STRs. STRs allow me to get granular with searches (which term is having the most impact, which is likely to generate a lot of false hits). Dashboards enable me to pull information about a matter together into a single, visual report. With STRs, I can use dashboards to show how the terms interact with each other, with custodians, timelines, etc.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Pet Peeve: there is no dashboard or other way to get a high-level/administrative view of what is happening in all of the workspaces. For instance, if I wanted to know how many productions we ran in a month, I have to check through all of the open workspaces. If I want to know how much data we processed, I have to rely on 3rd party reporting. There is nothing within Relativity that gives me that information in one place.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem we solve every day is identifying documents which are responsive to various requests related to litigation or investigations. Other problems: identifying privileged documents; identifying who is "talking" to whom; identifying when someone is using alternative email addresses; identifying problems in bankruptcy fee petitions; identifying those documents most likely to be relevant in large data volumes.

  ### 37. Great eDiscovery platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is always evolving. There are always new tools and features being added.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I wish there was an easier way to code documents in Relativity. Copy from previous helps but is limited in flexibility (copy all or nothing no option to choose). Wish it was possible to make coding changes from the document list.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients are sending larger volumes of data and are not always willing to spend the time to review their documents for relevance before sending them to us. With Relativity, this does not require additional review by the legal team, there are so many tools to help priotitize the review process.

  ### 38. Best EDiscovery review and processing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subham R. | System Operations Engineer 1, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The ease of use and the granular functionality it offers. It can process large amount of data, can image them and produce them without much inputs as can be done with simple creation of sets. The maintenance and troubleshooting is not that bad too. It's integration with other tools make it versatile. The APIs released by Relativity helps develop custom applications that can cater to specific needs of teams and clients.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Due to the massive number of functionalities it offers, an initial user might feel overwhelmed, but once it grown on you, you can never go back to other review platform because of the sheer power this software has. Also the logging mechanism on the individual server could be better with dedicated logs instead of relying on the Windows event viewer.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you want a all-in-one platform that also integrates very well with other tools like Brainspace, Systran or Nuix and need to process/review millions and billions of documents going up to hundreds of terabytes of data, Relativity would be the best choice in EDiscovery platforms to choose from. The software is easy to maintain and their customer support is amazing. The cloud platform Relativity One is another amazing variant where it is provided software as a service with no overheads on maintaining the platform.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is used basically for Document review and processing for the electronic evidence for our clients who are mostly law firms and companies pursuing lawsuits. The benefits are numerous, with the platform usage to support people, it's maintenance and it being a one-stop solution for everything one can ask for in a doc review platform. We are also finding out other use case scenarios to leverage the tool.

  ### 39. Relativity has review friendly user interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity has review friendly user interface and can easily code docs and work on the platform. we use relativity for several tasks, and its very easy to handle functions in relativity

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Scrolling the searches in the relativity one in the saved searches tab is a bit hard. If that is changed as earlier version, it would be great to work with searches.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

very easy to work

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

we solve many reviewer problems with relativity, which makes the review easier. It is easily understandable, and it has a mobile application where reviewers can code documents anywhere.

  ### 40. Relativity is the premier eDiscovery platform for end to end discovery and review of electronic data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawud B. | Regional Litigation Support Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I love the analytics capabilities which allow you to get rid of the noise and target what is really relevant to the issues of any case.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I'm not sure I understand the benefits of Relativity Trace yet as an effective IG tool but I need to perform a close review of the product.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just this week, I helped a case team identify email which proved malfeasant conduct by the defending party. I couldn't have done that without utilizing the conceptual analytics offerings of Relativity. This is but one example. The limited space here wouldn't allow me to tell all the examples of how I helped mitigate the risk of spoliation, reduced case team review burden and quickly identified hot and relevant docs by the use of operations like email threading, other conceptual/structured analytics tools and CAL AI.

  ### 41. Love Relativity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The interface to me is very intuitive and easy to learn. Even if you are new it wouldn't take long to start picking up how to use the application.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

This is necessary, but all the different menus make it seem overwhelming till you get use to it. To me this have been improving with each version.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

This does take some getting use to. But it makes keeping track of the review process so much easier. Training is also available if you need to learn new aspects of the software. But this is an industry standard and it would be great for business as many are used to relativity.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it for loading documents for review. The indexing and analytics are great. It makes the review process much easier.

  ### 42. This is a good Platform to learn, it has so many different and interesting things to learn.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Divya D. | E-Discovery Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

This is user friendly platform and interesting features of it. Processing feature, Review feature, Searches, Imaging in it

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I haven't found nothing like that till yet.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing is easy in relativity than other softwares.

  ### 43. Solid Software and Team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The support team that is associated with Relativity. The product is great, but having the support team to help answer questions is great. I'm not sure how it compares to competitors but the product and support are great.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I wish they had a contract lifecycle management program. I recognize they are terrific when it comes to discovery, but why not go into the CLM space as well? I would like to see that.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a good tool for document review and discovery. I have used in a number of cases and found the software relatively user friendly. I believe business performance increased with this type of product.

  ### 44. Relativity One Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Telecommunications | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It is user-friendly and has achieved the industry-standard level position within the in-house and outside law firm attorneys. Hence you don't need to train or convince anyone to learn it. The online video training can get them up and running within minutes. Also with the cloud version, we no longer have to depend or spend on in-house IT Support.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The app has grown a lot complex over the years, though it has many new functionalities available also.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly started using Relativity for document review hosting. Later Analytics was used for large and complex matters, as it reduced the documents to review without missing out on responsive documents. Now we use Relativity for eDiscovery processing. In future, we plan on using it for ECA when we migrate to R1.

  ### 45. Great for busy people

There wasn't anything that stood out using relativity that was unhelpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

It's a great asset to use. I wish I knew about it sooner.

The problems relativity has solved is by increasing work loads. The benefits are that productivity is also increased alongside the workload.

  ### 46. Relativity as a best in class EDRM software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity constantly improves critical areas of its usage - Processing, Review process, Legal Hold, etc.
It maintains its position by listening to community feedback and addressing their inquiries.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The configuration process is tricky and requires a lot of attention to detail and understanding of how this software works internally. On the other side, if misconfigured, generally, it is pretty easy to address it and move on.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It significantly speeds up the review process of any case. It directly translates to cost savings and, most importantly, time savings.

  ### 47. Very user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

It's a very useful tool and highly recommended.

The ability to view unstructured data in a structured form immediately.

A lot of the customization has to be done by developers, but it's ability to be customized is one of the most powerful and robust features. So there's really nothing I dislike.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Large user and group setups, customized search reports, recognization of duplicate and email threads. These features coupled with our customized work flows has increased performance from ingestion to production.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen R. | Paralegal & Tech Committee Member, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)
