## Relativity Reviews
  ### 1. Customizable Document Management, Needs Better Search

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayne W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the options to customize tags in Relativity which allow me to organize documents exactly how I want. It organizes all the documents for me and keeps track of how I've tagged them so I can see which documents are relevant to a case and more specifically which issues they are relevant to. It also lets me label documents as privileged or not.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find it difficult to search for documents that I have already reviewed. I think there should be a section where you can see who has reviewed a document and sort by that section.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity organizes all my documents, tracks my tags to show relevance, and allows privilege labeling, aiding in litigation preparation.

  ### 2. Powerful eDiscovery with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the powerful, granular level of filtering metadata and review coding in Relativity, which really enhances my eDiscovery support tasks. The saved searches feature is useful to me as it allows sharing search results and reporting efficiently. I also appreciate the user interface of Relativity; it's intuitive and supports my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Some functions have design flaws. Using a workspace as a template doesn't allow a template folder structure to be set and carried over to newly created workspaces. The Import/Export tool doesn't show the load file that was used in the history of completed import jobs. Neither the location nor the file name is shown, which is needed for troubleshooting.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for searching, filtering, collaborative review, reporting, and AI review.

  ### 3. Efficient Email Management with Helpful UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANMOL B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find the user interface of Relativity very helpful. I also like the fact that I can easily communicate with the team handling the redactions, which makes intra-team communications easier.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Sometimes the intercommunication loads too much granular detail. I want an option to decide the level of granularity required in terms of organization and communication. It's tough when I have 20 options thrown at me, especially as a newcomer in our team. I prefer having limited options.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for managing data subject access requests, helping in filtering relevant information and deciding on redactions. It's like finding needles in a haystack, sorting through thousands of emails to find relevant ones for me.

  ### 4. Ease of Use with Robust Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis H. | Mr, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity for its ease of use and technical capabilities. These features, along with its analytics, really help me identify relevant documents quicker and easier, making the document review process more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I wish there was a feature to toggle on families in searches quicker.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for e-discovery and document review. It makes identifying relevant documents quicker and easier, expediting the document review process.

  ### 5. Customizable Yet Overwhelming Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny R.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I appreciate Relativity's customization capabilities, including through SQL scripts and configurable security features. As a system administrator, these functionalities enable me to tailor the platform to fit individual use cases effectively, ensuring that each client receives a unique and personalized experience that aligns with their specific business or review requirements. The ability to provide such a bespoke service stands out as a significant advantage and makes managing complex tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I sometimes find there are too many options on the screen in Relativity, such as multiple panels like searching conditions, saved searches, document previews, and document lists. This can be overwhelming or get in the way, especially for newer, less experienced users. It would be beneficial to have personal settings that allow system administrators to configure and hide some of these options.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to manage vast volumes of data, ensuring data traceability and faster reviews, enhancing document reviews and investigations.

  ### 6. User-Friendly with Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kara S.

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I have been using Relativity for 2.5 years, and one of the things I really appreciate is how user-friendly it is. Its intuitive design makes onboarding new users a breeze, and I find the aesthetic interface to be quite appealing. The platform's intuitiveness means that it makes immediate sense, which is essential in a fast-paced environment like a law firm. The customization capabilities of Relativity stand out significantly, allowing us to tailor the software to fit each unique case or matter, which is incredibly beneficial given that no two cases are the same. Its ability to handle large-scale document reviews efficiently and highlight important aspects of a dataset is vital for our operations. These features not only streamline our processes but also enhance our overall productivity, making Relativity an invaluable tool in our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I dislike that you can't see how many of the document IDs that you have searched for are in the workspace and those that weren't found. When searching for a set of IDs, you should receive a popup giving you a breakdown of those found and those not found in the workspace.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to enhance large-scale document review efficiency and customize datasets for unique legal cases, making onboarding easy due to its user-friendly and intuitive nature.

  ### 7. Intuitive eDiscovery Workhorse with Constantly Improving Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It's our main tool for eDiscovery, so we use it in a daily basis. It's very intuitive, and and the team behind Relativity does a good job of creating new tools and workflows for outstanding problems.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There are still some visualization features, particularly as it relates to exporting data for demonstratives, that we have and continue to struggle with.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity has become our go to tool for analyzing large sets of data quickly, which gets our clients to answers more quickly.

  ### 8. Effortless eDiscovery Management with Relativity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily L. | Advanced Discovery Solution Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity for its advanced functionality, which really helps with eDiscovery project management. It's also easy to use, making it straightforward to meet litigation deadlines. The initial setup was easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The documentation could be improved by presenting more popular scenarios.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for eDiscovery project management to meet litigation deadlines, and I appreciate its advanced functionality and ease of use.

  ### 9. Efficient, Comprehensive Solution with Trust and Thought Leadership

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas W.

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I have been using Relativity since 2012 for a wide range of cases, including antitrust litigation, foreign corrupt practices, e-discovery, FOIA, privacy, and government investigations. I find Relativity to be the most efficient and accurate e-discovery platform I have used. Despite having experience with multiple e-discovery platforms throughout my career, Relativity stands out as the most comprehensive. The platform is somewhat intuitive from initial sign-on to creating review batches, managing productions, applying redactions, and using links to produce documents. The ability to expedite the collection, review, and production process is invaluable, especially in reducing the cost and overhead of using e-discovery tools. Furthermore, the continuous updates of Relativity keep the solution in line with the fast-moving generative AI developments. I am also impressed by the thought leadership within the Relativity team, individuals like David Oregon and Jonathan Hill help foster a sense of trust in AI, making the solution more reliable compared to others that sometimes come off as dubious. Relativity’s strong community and reliable support from experts, engineers, and coders add significant value to my experience.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I think one of the biggest challenges right now with Relativity is its pricing model. For state and local organizations, as well as other law firms that are not in the top 100, it remains somewhat expensive and unapproachable. This makes it difficult for smaller entities to access its benefits, which I believe is a hurdle. However, once this cost barrier is overcome, there is substantial opportunity given how easy, efficient, and feature-rich Relativity is.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity maximizes our efficiency, supporting diverse legal cases with intuitive features that streamline case assessment, data analysis, and production while reducing costs and overhead.

  ### 10. Efficient Document Management and E-Discovery Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Surbhi A. | Senior Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity's advanced search and filtering tools, which help manage large volumes of documents efficiently. The ability to run complex Boolean searches, apply metadata filters, and use saved searches lets us quickly narrow down large datasets to the most relevant documents. I also appreciate the customizable workflows and coding layouts. Additionally, the initial setup of Relativity was smooth and well-structured.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There are no major drawbacks in our experience with Relativity.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps us manage large volumes of documents efficiently. Its complex Boolean searches, metadata filters, and saved searches quickly narrow down large datasets to the most relevant documents.

  ### 11. Structured Analytics Enhance Document Review, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony V.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the structured analytics in Relativity, especially how it can affect a review by identifying email threads and using the communication analysis widget to pinpoint textual near duplicates. These tools help my case teams understand the data and review documents effectively in a streamlined fashion.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Integrations with transcripts and chronologies are lacking and cumbersome. I'd like to see an AI offering that marries the review/production documents with deposition transcripts and case chronologies. I have to buy off-the-shelf deposition and chronology tools to satisfy that need.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity streamlines document review, production, and organization, helping my case teams understand data and review documents effectively.

  ### 12. Reliable, Predictable Technology with a Great Reviewer and Admin Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jude C. | Legal Revjew Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Useful technology. Reliable and predictable. Good user experience for reviewers and admin.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The training materials, while detailed are challenging to navigate. I find it odd, in a competitive market, that there are fees to take exams.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for large scale document review, including CAL functionality. It is solving the problem of limited human resource, but a high volume of documents.

  ### 13. Relativity: Speedy Document Retrieval, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantelle J.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I have been using Relativity for about ten years for investigations and disclosure exercises, and I am delighted with how its performance has significantly improved over time. Initially, it was quite slow, but now it retrieves potentially relevant documents quicker than ever before, which is incredibly beneficial for my workflow. My recent experience setting up Relativity has been very smooth, which was a welcome change. The presence of good customer success managers, who are informative and helpful, adds tremendous value. Additionally, the introduction of features like Air for review is a game-changer; it helps to save weeks of time that we would have spent manually reviewing documents. I rate the platform a solid 10 out of 10 for all these benefits, making it a must-recommend product.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I would like to see faster improvements based on user feedback. Although Relativity does eventually update the tool to include requested features, the process takes several weeks. Faster implementation of small feature requests, such as those related to Relativity contracts, would significantly enhance the user experience.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity solves document retrieval problems, significantly speeding up finding relevant documents, and its features save weeks in manual review time.

  ### 14. Improved Usability, but Still Some Clunkiness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy F. | Research Assistant

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I really value the features of Relativity that allow me to tag and sort different documents, which significantly aid in understanding the importance, origin, and destination of these documents. This functionality helps me mentally grasp the case flow and discern what actually occurred, enhancing my comprehension of the cases I work on. Moreover, the capabilities for mapping and searching documents to identify correlations and determine who was working on similar tasks concurrently prove to be quite useful in my work. Additionally, I have grown comfortable with Relativity, especially appreciating the different training sessions that are available, which make it very user-friendly. This comfort level and user-friendliness are major reasons why I would choose Relativity again over other software. My growing familiarity with Relativity and its encompassing features make it a preferred choice for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find the setup process for Relativity to be a bit clunky and boxy, experiencing lag and spinning, which disrupted workflow and required downtime, like taking breaks to play ping pong. The interface can be a bit chunky, necessitating the use of additional tools like Chech GPT to synthesize information effectively. Furthermore, the presence of three different search bars in the workspace appears unnecessary and confusing, complicating the task of searching through documents and data. There is also lingering clunkiness in the system that I think still needs to be addressed.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for reviewing documents in criminal cases, allowing me to tag, sort, map, and search documents efficiently, which aids in understanding case flow and prevents wrongful incarceration.

  ### 15. Enjoy working with RelativityOne

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I really like the fact that we don't need to worry about infrastructure and all the headaches and costs that go along with that. I also like that there are updates almost weekly and testing new features is fun.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Because we aren't true system administrators, we can't control the environment. Sometimes it takes awhile for jobs to be picked up and there isn't much you can do besides wait. While Support does respond within SLAs, they often need to escalate internally before a true solution is found.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you are thinking about getting Relativity in-house, consider hiring an experienced administrator to make the process go smoother.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know when RelativityOne first came out, vendors were worried. However, working with a vendor that primarily uses RelativityOne has opened my eyes. There is so much we can offer alongside Relativity and it's a good relationship. One thing to note is that due to costs, it's hard to compete against OnPrem/Server vendors when bidding on new projects.

  ### 16. Streamlined eDiscovery with Intuitive Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Odette C. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find Relativity incredibly intuitive, making it much easier to set up and use compared to other platforms I've seen. The ease of use is complemented by its advanced technology which continuously impresses me. I'm particularly fond of the structured analytics, advanced analytics, and generative AI features that Relativity offers. These capabilities are highly valuable as they help in efficiently handling and streamlining large eDiscovery datasets, allowing us to review them faster. After using it for thirteen years, I still appreciate its ability to solve complex problems in document reviewing, making my workflow significantly more effective. Relativity's value is further evident in its provision of a comprehensive suite of features that enhance its utility for end-to-end eDiscovery tasks.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I don't like the price of Relativity.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to streamline large eDiscovery datasets into manageable sets for faster review, supported by features like structured and advanced analytics, and generative AI.

  ### 17. Evolved into Industry Standard with Some Price Concerns

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Project Manager

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I appreciate the evolution of Relativity over the years, noting it has become much more user-friendly for both end users and administrators, which is a significant improvement from when I first started using it fifteen years ago. I find it exciting to work with the new applications and products that Relativity constantly releases, especially when incorporating AI to creatively solve business problems for clients. It's reassuring to see that Relativity listens to its users and continually incorporates feedback into its roadmap, leading to an ever-evolving process that constantly improves. I find the Review Center to be an excellent addition, highlighting it as one of the best developments for Relativity in recent years. I also value some of the updates to the AIR products, particularly AIR for review, and I think the prompt help feature is amazing. Overall, I believe Relativity is the best product on the market for reviewing platforms, using it every day and absolutely loving it. It stands out as the default response when people inquire about review platforms. The seamless integration of proprietary software and third-party add-ons is another aspect I value, despite not using anything outside the norm. In terms of functionality, Relativity's ability to consistently improve and adapt by launching more products and applications to enhance workflows and processes is something I genuinely appreciate.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find the overall price of Relativity to be a significant drawback. While the features and toolset are impressive, it becomes a constant struggle to justify the high cost, especially for cases that do not warrant such an expensive product. Clients often express a willingness to pay less for a version that lacks some of the advanced features, which many of them do not need.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to help clients view documents, solve business problems creatively with AI, and improve workflows with constant updates. It became user-friendly over time and is the industry standard for document review.

  ### 18. User-Friendly with Some Performance Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karen H.

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find Relativity user-friendly and intuitive. The website layout and search function make it easy to use. I also appreciate the helpful resources that are available when I'm confused. Additionally, the DBR function is very effective in helping us find PII quickly.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Relativity crashes sometimes.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for setting up users to workspaces, document reviewing, and hosting.

  ### 19. The Leading Choice for Legal Review Excellence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** madison s.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find Relativity to be the best legal review program I've encountered so far. Its seamless integration into our systems and the quality of support it provides are outstanding. I appreciate how Relativity continues to improve its features without compromising on performance. The AI capabilities have notably sped up the review process, making it more seamless, which is a tremendous asset in our workflow. I'm particularly impressed with the import/export functionality in express transfer and the automated workflows, as they are much more user-friendly and efficient compared to the outdated RDC. Additionally, the improvements in feature permissions have made administrative tasks significantly easier by providing clearer user access insight. When compared to other competitors, Relativity's performance stands out, which is a key reason I would choose to use it again.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find that there needs to be more automated workflows in Relativity. While the tool is efficient, I believe there is untapped potential in leveraging automated workflows to enhance efficiency even further. Furthermore, the sentiment analysis feature requires significant improvement to meet the needs effectively.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity speeds up legal review with AI, offers seamless integration, and improved feature permissions, enhancing overall user experience.

  ### 20. Relativity review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frandy D. | Adjunct Professor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like that the software manages the entire life cycle of legal data. You can think of it as a highly secure AI powered search engine and document organizer.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

If there was anything to change, it would be the clunky of the user interface. It requires too many clicks to perform simple task. Also, they can incorporate more AI features such as automatic summaries. And they can also update their pricing transparency to ensure customers know exactly what they are paying for.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software is helping solve issues within the company by providing an AI solution that identifies and categorize personal and sensitive information data

  ### 21. Supercharged E-Disclosure with Fast Processing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andries S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity's processing speed; it helps with the large amount of data in today's market by allowing me to process a lot of data very quickly. The initial setup was very straightforward, and the onboarding went quickly. I also appreciate that it's cloud-based, so there was no additional resource needed to look after the environment.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

At this stage occasional problems but these get resolve quickly by the support team.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for document sharing with clients and managing large document volumes. Its AI capabilities speed up document review times, and we are able to quickly handle large amounts of documents.

  ### 22. Great for Ease of Use for Beginners, But Documentation and Feature Focus Need Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margarita F. | Paralegal/Litigation Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It's user-friendly for beginners but also the company itself provides sufficient support as user proficiency increases.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

It's sometimes challenging to find documentation if you aren't proficient in Relativity terminology. Also, as Relativity evolves, some of the documentation is now outdated. Finally, it sometimes feels like there is such a focus on AI and other features that are helpful for big clients, the features that might be useful for other clients aren't proactively explored.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ingesting client documents for responsiveness & privilege review and production, as well as processing of incoming document productions for identification of key documents. All of this helps our attorneys evaluate matters and prepare for depositions and trials.

  ### 23. Powerful Litigation Tool with Great Support, But Pricey

**Reviewed by:** Ara R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

The cost is too high. The initial conversion from Server to R1 has been very cumbersome.

I use Relativity for litigation support and creating custom databases for my clients.

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I really appreciate the support provided by Relativity's team. Starting to use the software when it was relatively new, I found the team to be very helpful, particularly Andrew Seija, who assisted us significantly. This support was crucial as we learned to use its features effectively. I also greatly value the AI capabilities and the review center offered by Relativity, which are significant aids in our work and promise to be very helpful as we continue to integrate them further. Furthermore, I find Relativity quite user-friendly; it's easy to use and set up, which significantly streamlines our processes and makes it more accessible for our team.

I find the complex permission settings burdensome and time-consuming to configure correctly.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for issue resolution, as it effectively addresses problems, sometimes quickly or with software changes.

I do feel that the focus on stabilizing the tool so that the basic functions have less issues has been successful. I am looking forward into being able to incorporate AI tools into every day practice.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

My previous feedback of "The quality of documentation and training available by the company is unmatched when it comes to eDiscovery software." is no longer true. I have had several times recently where the documentation is very technical and doesn't assist at all with practical application of the feature.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really great dynamic workflows that are available within Relativity can solve almost any problem. It is also really great seeing clients amazed by the time it can save them.

  ### 29. Relativity Simplifies Navigation, But Overpriced

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt N. | Business Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find Relativity's user interface to be incredibly beneficial. It simplifies navigation, making it very easy to know where I am going and what I am working on. This ease of use is particularly valuable as it enhances my efficiency in managing tasks. Additionally, the initial setup process of Relativity was simple, which is refreshing and helps to get started without any hassle.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find the pricing of Relativity to be a major drawback. The cost is high, and it influences my decision to repurchase the software. If it were more affordable, I would be more inclined to consider it again.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity because it simplifies navigation, making it easy to know what I'm working on. The user interface enhances my efficiency in document review and email threading.

  ### 30. Efficient Document Management with Customizable Dashboards

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Machinery | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I use Relativity for collections, reviews, and productions of data. It allows me to conduct faster searches and reviews, and helps cull down the documents so I don't have to review as many. I like the ease of use and the ability to create dashboards and workspaces to fit my needs. The aiR for Review works great and has changed how I handle large document review projects.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Import/Export sometimes cause me issues, as well as providing access to outside counsel.

I use Relativity for faster data searches and reviews, reducing the number of documents I need to review.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** jemma r. | Director, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is an industry leading tool that I have been using for over 10 years. Relativity has lots of useful free resources available for users (both inexperienced and experienced) and has some really helpful videos and articles as well as an indepth user guide. If you need a resource guide its very easy to find "how to" or to watch one of their instructor led videos. Relativity keeps its platform updated with new features periodically and is a strong tool in the market to follow the end to end of the EDRM and allow me to carry out my job.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Given its popularity and leading market player position tickets with technical support engineers can take a while to be fully adressed when noting defects or bugs.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is scaleable and able to store vast amounts of data and different data types. From working with millions of records and various different data types such as audio, chat, network shares and the traditional email data Relativity allows me in my day to day job to process vast sums of data and manage it for review purposes by deploying features such as analytics and culling mechanisms.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity's advanced tools help cull "garbage" docs and let me focus on what really matters.

Relativity is solving mainly the de-duplication issues that other companies are having issues with

  ### 47. Relativity Fest 2025

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity is always innovating and allows you to perform anything your heart can imagine within the platform.

It's intuitive and I feel that I've spent a lot of time in the software and they have listened to my feedback.

There are many different competing products within the platform so it can get confusing at times to define what is the best workflow.

Document review for attorneys and this is in full display daily when administering the software for attorney use.

  ### 48. Powerful and Reliable, But Customization and Usability Need Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Reliable, rigorous, auditable, structured and powerful. The consultation and support from Relativity particularly being able to talk directly to Product Owners and the Applied Science/Data Science team.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There is a steep learning curve, and it's difficult to implement automated review workflows (which I understand is coming).

Also, outputs are often inflexible. We need the ability to customise the output in the way we need it. Put more power into our hands. This is probably a tension between your enterprise versus self-service clients.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Large scale review of documents. Allowing us to convert data into actionable evidence that supports our case strategy.

It appears to be moving from the data space, and more into the evidence space. It needs a lot more growth and sophistication in that area, and more consultation with lawyers and teams like GTDocs that also deal with the evidence (and less so with eDiscovery technical team and pure eDiscovery review lawyers).
