I find Relativity's user interface to be incredibly beneficial. It simplifies navigation, making it very easy to know where I am going and what I am working on. This ease of use is particularly valuable as it enhances my efficiency in managing tasks. The flexibility of Relativity is key for us and our customers. The platform has powerful options to customise review workflows and handles large amounts of data fairly easily. Improvements from their development team are frequent and as an organisation they welcome feedback and offer advance release to partners for testing. They claim to be investing heavily in new tech with a decent roadmap for upcoming features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Relativity? Relativity has often relied on their community for plug-ins that other platforms offer as standard. This can increase the cost of the offering as compared to other tools. They are quick to release new features but often ignore improvements to key functionality like processing data and text extraction speeds for the bells and whistles that provide better market optics. Relativity is expensive and doesn't adjust pricing based on new technology. Machine translation is a good example, whilst it is free in nearly all platforms (and can be done in O365 on the fly), Relativity insists on charging a high per doc fee based on character counts while accessing MS Azure's translation features. Relativity undoubtedly has everything one could possibly need in an e-discovery software program. Relativity, as compared to other document review / case file management tools, is a powerhouse of capability. It's better than having all your documents in an access database, and having 20 database programmers to run queries and pull out files for you & etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Relativity? There's no way to download files for later viewing. If I know I'm going to be on a plane w/o internet, or at a friend's cabin w/o internet, or etc., it would be really great if I could download the next several thousand documents to be reviewed to my local storage, and not have to access the cloud. In my own personal case, I'm a lawyer who picks up side income as a document review tech for big law firms, and I really enjoy that I can work remotely. I hate that I can't work \*that\* remotely, because I'm significantly limited by bandwidth--I can't work from any but the fastest connections. If I work from home, I can skate by if I'm fast and if I underbill my time. My brother and his wife and their two beautiful toddlers live 3 hours from me, and I love to visit them. I visit a lot less than I otherwise would, if I could work from their place. If I could download 3 days worth of files to review, or do downloads overnight, that would be a wonderful help to this problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Relativity: The vendor who provides "tech support" gets paid when you pay for extra features like extra users or batch help... that tends to screw their incentives to make things simple and ensure things work right.
