"Next level linguistic insight"
5/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Relative is giving our team the ability to supercharge the learnings we can garner from the gamut of text-based data at our disposal - much of which was largely moribund until we discovered Relative. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

There's very little to dislike. I suspect that we'd have had issues appreciating the value of linguistic comparison if the Relative team not been so au fait with the approach in our initial interactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from David Koke of Relative Insight

Thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback, James. We always love hearing about how Relative Insight helps customers embrace text data as a source of business intel!

"Great company, always looking to enhance and tailor their tools"
4/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Very user-friendly considering the size of information collected in the back-end and the difficulty of organizing language data. Seamless and fast as a software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

One of the downsides is (depending of course on each client's interests) different cards (e.g. one based on frequencies and one based on similarities between sets) often give the same insight. One can say this helps corroborate them but they won't necessarily be useful. Another thing is that is is easy to overstate the significance of some insights. I do not have a science/stats background so I might be leaving an unfair comment but it just sometimes feels like the data sets are not broad enough to generate strong insights. "Gives a deeper insight into behaviour and language"
4/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Relative Insight offers a data-driven, 'scientific' approach to understanding and analysing things that are often based on intuition or experience - such as how competitors talk about themselves, or how customers talk about you online. As such, it can provide valuable insights to present upwards in an organisation, avoiding having to rely on more vague marketing insight, which may not persuade non-marketers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

Like any platform, time investment is key to getting the best insights. Not sure if that's a dislike, just a reality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from David Koke of Relative Insight

Thanks for your feedback! Great to hear how you've put Relative Insight to use for competitor benchmarking. We've got some new developments coming down the pipeline that are aimed at reducing the time to insight, so stay tuned.

"Putting a friendly face to a complex area of research"
5/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Relative Insight's product delivers fascinating and actionable insights for our campaigns and are a key component in explaining the value of the work we deliver. However, while the same is true of some other suppliers we work with, what sets Relative Insight apart is their client servicing - friendly, approachable people, who can easily explain a complex area of research in a language that we (and our clients) understand. It's been great to work with them over the past few years and here's to many more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

Nothing springs to mind. I guess, the complexity of their analysis can sometimes be hard for clients to comprehend - but then, that's often a million-dollar question in the industry: how to present complex analysis in a way that is easy to digest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Relative Insight?

In a world of parity, repetitive research tools and unsatisfying social listening insights, RI helps us find meaningful insights right from the consumer's mouth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

This isn't a dislike really, but success depends on the skill of the user. If you're smart about the data you put in and how you look at it, insight is there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful tool, awesome reps"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Relative Insight quick gives you insights as to what's different between your two data sets, that may otherwise take hours to uncover. It's compelling to tell your client this topic or phrase is mentioned 10X more than competitors, for example, to understand points of differentiation or overlap better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

Unfortunately, like most tools, you sometimes don't find anything interesting or noteworthy between your data sets. But the reps (shout out to Maddy!) are very helpful in also taking a look to see if there's anything you may have missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Relative Insight?

Their open mind and will to improve and hear customers' feedback and new ideas. There is never a "No" whenever we have suggested or requested a new service or help. I have always felt RI more like a partner than a provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

Nothing to be with RI itself, but there is still a long way to walk until any company analyzing texts can guarantee data at 100%. I'm sure RI will get there, but I still feel that the analysis and insights are pretty general, and human eyes are still necessary. Still, since we work with RI, we have reduced significantly the time and resources that we used to invest to analyze our data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from David Koke of Relative Insight

Thanks for your feedback, Leticia. Great to hear you've been able to reduce the time spent analyzing survey responses. You've articulated the challenge of analyzing text really well. Given the nature of words taking on different meanings in different contexts 100% precision is difficult but our teams of developers and data scientists are working hard to make the analysis even more robust!

"Driving a data led approach"
4/5
What do you like best about Relative Insight?

I think it is fantastic that you can get such detailed and nuanced evidence to support your findings. The level of detail in grammar, words and topics means you really do understand the topics in much greater depth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relative Insight?

Sometimes the groupings are a little vague or inaccurate, but that is to be expected! A more seamless platform that is intuitive could also be helpful to making the user experience better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
