The WYSIWYG editor allows designing of the registration page and 'site' to match the brand. Allowing the fexibility for many different registration options and choices for participants allowed us to customize our event and offer more. The payment configuration and ability to add any additional fees for our event was extremely helpful as we setup our event. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** The downsides I have experienced with RegFox are minimal to say the least. These are things, that I believe, can be easily improved in the future. The biggest dislike I have is the mobile expereince. And while, designing on the mobile site is not the best case for users to actual do, making a quick change on the go was a little tedious. Other areas of the application could be improved for mobile viewing (such as registrant list, etc). However, even with this limitation, it still outweighs the competition. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** As we embarked on offering our instructional classes each year, we wanted to have more control over our entire registration process. And while, we could go out and use some free or low cost products to build a registration system into our website, using RegFox allowed us to setup our event, customize the look and feel and begin accepting registrations within a week. This benefit of speed to market and the customization to have the brand look and feel was extremely beneficial as we wanted our users to have a seamless expereience with the registration process. ### 10. For those of us that don't need something cumbersome but a higher level / professional look than Eventbrite or RSVPify, RegFox is the event registration software for you. Not to mention the customer service is next to none. They are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely fast to get questions answered or find alternative to things you are trying to achieve. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** Your website can be found via a search. We do a lot of internal events so it would be nice to have a feature where anyone can find the information. Nice part is you can set a password so others can't register. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are multiple tiers of attendees for this internal event we are helping plan. The client has been gathering the information via email with a bunch of changes. We suggested RegFox and now all the information is captured in one place. Attendees can make their own changes plus it sends out reminders. So you can say you set it up and forget about it until it gets close to the deadline. Gives our clients time to focus on all the other important details and their day to day tasks. ### 13. We have a yearly event that is complicated in terms of registration but with RegFox we were able to make it streamlined. Overall its a better expereince for the user and the one handling registration. Check in for the events are also a breeze! **What do you dislike about RegFox?** We have had issues with Regfox software working properly with DYMO for onsite printing. We have been doing a lot of trouble shooting to try to resolve this. I would like there to be more options in the future available. At least we have the Avery name tags as a back up but its a pain for on site registratoin to do those lables that way. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are so much more reasonably priced than Cvent. Off the bat we notice a better interface and that we have a pretty low overhead. The expenses are a lot less which is needed when working on a tight budget in higher ed. ### 18. Building pages are easy to do without having extensive knowledge of website design. It offers a variety of elements to pick and choose from that are all customizable. The conditional logic actions are easy to set up, which is a huge plus for why we decided to use RegFox. I appreciate the Support Team available during the week via chat - they are quick to respond, provide information and solutions to all questions and will take feedback for the RegFox Development Team. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** Because there is no commitment to using RegFox, there are some limitations with the platform that our Events Team is used to. The main dislikes are that on an event page, you cannot have separate pages (tabs) for the different sections of your page, there is a navigation header that can take you directly to a section, but it makes for a long event page if you multiple sections (lodging, schedule, speakers, sponsors, etc.) The second dislike is that the confirmation emails are not customizable for different registration types or sessions attendees sign up for. We process payments with over 10 different payment processors, however, we don't yet allow events to accept payments with Paypal or Venmo due to one particular restriction that hinders event organizers when managing attendees. We had a nightmare experience with another company as we tried to switch to their platform this year as we added on accommodations to our event and "thought" it made sense to switch. It was the WORSE DECISION to leave RegFox. The other company took days to communicate, their promises on their website were misleading, their verfication process harder than anything I've ever experienced, it took a month to get verified. In short that company was a nigtmare. Back at RegFox a few quick questions answered by Aaron and we were up and running less than 24 hours before our event. A big plus to using RegFox is we have years of event data in their system. I love running reports and building out the registration form to collect attendee pain points that will help make our event a success. RegFox's helpful back end makes it ideal for looking up past attendees, looking at numbers, and tracking analytics on daily use of the registration page. RegFox has stepped up their customer service and overall design options for the client facing registration experience. The registration page now looks better than our website and it was so easy to build, we were able to design, build and launch in a few hours. My #1 favorite thing about RegFox is your response time to important questions. Theres nothing more nerve wracking than having an open registration and needing instant tech support. That’s mission critical when you are trying to answer attendee questions and launch an event. RegFox has our back! **What do you dislike about RegFox?** I wish there was a way to CC other people when sending an updated registration form of a participant. It will send a copy to the registrant but nobody else. The customer service is beyond helpful, they understand what you are trying to do and show you how to use the system to achieve your goals. On the surface, RegFox looks dirt simple and you won't realize just how complex of an event and registration you can set up using the system. Their help team will show you how to take advantage of its features to deal with some pretty complex events. We replaced a $ 2000-a-year system with RegFox which works perfectly and is infinitely easier to set up. One thing to know is the registrations are individual although you could include tickets for say 4 other people in your registration and collect their names in another field. You'd need to deal with how to track those people as the system does not work that way. Maybe a feature for the future would be a simple implementation where names and tickets, seats, etc. could be associated. As the guy doing the setups, I can tell you this is one is quick and simple to use. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** We are currently working with RegFox on finding ways to pass more detailed "tags" on transactions so we can properly categorize the money in our accounting system. That said, they are working hard to help. The only thing we didn't find a way to solve is to prevent a registrant from signing up for two events at the same time. Yes, people do that... fortunately for us, we have had minimal problems with its absence by making it very clear in the activity that it occurs at the same time as another so pick one, not both. Does not support cross-platform sign ons so our members have to create an account on RegFox. Many of our trips and events are 'member only' and the single sign-in feature would eliminate our having to check to be sure the person is a member and our insurance will cover them. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Registering members for events and trips. ### 46. We have recommended this to each of our non-profit clients with great success. Low per-attendee registration costs, a competitively priced built-in payment processor, and no mandatory review process has driven us to use this platform. After establishing with RegFox, free events are available for users (per-attendee fees are waived). The best part of RegFox is the support staff that are responsive, knowledgeable, personable, and based in the Sacramento, CA area. (Extra shout-out to Megan, who was critical in getting a large event up and running for us.) **What do you dislike about RegFox?** "Actions" can be a bit intimidating and complex. Actions are the rule-based modifiers to the main registration page (for example, if a certain meal is selected, then show dietary restriction options.) Fortunately, the support staff is amazing and can help guide us to a functional registration page. Additionally, text editor boxes can get a bit wonky with adding unhelpful HTML code that causes display issues. This can be mitigated by the extra step of cleaning the formatting in the HTML editor view, but is frustrating at times. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** RegFox provides an easily accessible event registration system that is not over-complex or overpriced.
