Functional for Events, Lacks Key Integrations **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Tori C. **Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025 **What do you like best about RegFox?** I find the functionality available in RegFox useful for setting up pages and managing program registrations and event sales for our youth sports nonprofit. Creating event pages, utilizing coupon codes, and selling tickets are all capabilities that allow me to handle the necessary logistics with ease. Though it hasn't added anything extra to our operations, it allows us to efficiently carry out the essential tasks we need to manage our events successfully. I appreciate that I can use RegFox for merchandise sales as well, which helps in comprehensively managing different aspects of our events. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** I dislike that RegFox lacks a direct integration with QuickBooks, which has made our accounting process a nightmare. This has led to increased staff labor and stress, and our accounting records are not as up-to-date or accurate as I would like. The change in their credit card payment processor further exacerbated these issues, affecting our operations for almost a year. Additionally, although RegFox offers some functionalities we use, it hasn't added anything extra to our operations, making it feel limited compared to other youth sports registration software available. These other options provide the necessary QuickBooks integration and additional features like a parent communication and scheduling app, which RegFox currently lacks. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use RegFox for program registrations and event sales, but its lack of QuickBooks integration causes accounting headaches and increased staff labor. While it supports creating event pages and selling tickets, it does not add extra value beyond basic needs. **Official Response from Jessica Jaikumar:** > Hi Tori! Thanks for sharing your feedback. While RegFox doesn’t include a built-in QuickBooks integration, many of our customers successfully connect the two through our Zapier integration. This setup allows data to flow automatically between RegFox and QuickBooks, reducing manual work and keeping accounting records up to date. It looks like your team is already using Zapier and some API integrations, so you may be able to extend that setup to include QuickBooks as well. They really help you and are quick to respond - it's not one of those bot chat features that takes an hour to get to humans. The system does most of what I need. Pretty flexible and balances ease of use and not being overly complex with some default setups. For the most part, they got it right. Also a bonus because they allow you to precheck check boxes on forms. On lots of systems I looked at this was impossible. We use it for email marketing and the data always shows that people are unlikely to uncheck a box and unlikely to check it. So having it prechecked really helps build our opt in email list. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** I wish the confirmation emails could be customized a bit more, and generally they had more support for fields from the user data. Seems like it would be easy enough to do and would improve the system greatly. I ended up not using it because the Zapier integration didn't work the way i wanted. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** I wanted to get people to be able to register for events and then get that information into salesforce **Official Response from RegFox Support Team:** > Hi Wally, Thank you so much for your honest review. One stop for multiple evnt management. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** No support for Paypal, venmo and other pay methods. Some people don't like adding their credit card info to websites and this might turn potential customers away. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** One stop for multiple events management, ticket sales and tracking. **Official Response from John Russell:** > Hey Umar, thank you for your review! We process payments with over 10 different payment processors, however, we don't yet allow events to accept payments with Paypal or Venmo due to one particular restriction that hinders event organizers when managing attendees. We've written a full article on this linked below in the "Resource URL". The article is written for our other product, TicketSpice, however, both products use our same backend payment functions. It was very easy to design a registration that look professional and easy to use. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** The payment system doesn't have much flexability. The deposit system is completely backwards. It only works on one type of field and not the sub total. **What problems is RegFox solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solved our problem of setting up multiple registrations at one time and not have the site crash under the load of thousands of registrations happening at one time. **Official Response from Eric Unterberger:** > Hey Tory! As for how we run deposits, you are correct in noticing that we only allow deposits on the registration field rather than the sub total of any extra add-ons you may offer for your event. We do this because we found that oftentimes event organizers need the full charge of add-ons like merchandise, t-shirts, meals, etc so they can pay for these products for their attendees in advance. But with that being said, this is amazing feedback and something we will totally be looking at for you in the future and see if we can come up with a solution or option for you that would work better in terms of allowing deposits on the full amount! The token-based system makes scanning tickets effortless. No lag between device and server. This is a game-changer. **What do you dislike about RegFox?** There are few elements that make it difficult to troubleshoot when something goes wrong, but the customer service is excellent. **Recommendations to others considering RegFox:** Test the service hours before using it at scale.
