Reflektion is a great search solution! **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Timothy L. | Ecommerce Merchandising Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2019 **What do you like best about Reflektion?** Reflektion is a very customizable platform for search optimization and personalization - it's allowing us to capture more terms and expose more product mix to our customers. **What do you dislike about Reflektion?** It takes a little training, but luckily Reflektion is very helpful and supportive about offering training sessions and accessible advice. **Recommendations to others considering Reflektion:** It's a growing company but still offers well rounded support and assistance - there may be other companies offering similar products but I like the level of help that Reflektion offers. **What problems is Reflektion solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had a very low conversion rate for site search and we have a large product catalog that did not always get products surfaced to our customers. Site search is now converting at 2x what it was, and we are seeing more products selling due to use of Reflektion. ### 5. We've had solid help from the Reflektion team and we're glad we decided to work with them **What do you dislike about Reflektion?** The backend at times is a little cumbersome and confusing. We've needed to add some forced redirects due to searches that don't head to a product in our feed. Those were difficult to figure out how to do, but now that I've gone through it a few times I've got it down. Unfortunately it seems a little more confusing that it should be. **What problems is Reflektion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our previous search results were internally fired and honestly not good enough. They were based on old data and not updated. Dashboard is easy to use and straightforward. Faced no major issues, else support is really helpful. Reflektion provides a complete service to guide customers to conversion using preview search, product recommendations on-site and in emails, full page search(AS like Lucene,Solr), and individualized content **What do you dislike about Reflektion?** More tie-in to their control panel with the initial setup. It took a while to get that set up . Little bit less efficient than Solr or big data search engines i believe. **Recommendations to others considering Reflektion:** Comapare your requirement with SOLR, Lucene in case you are using just search **What problems is Reflektion solving and how is that benefiting you?** working in startup. ### 7. The salesperson was very responsive, helpful and understanding of our requirements and limitations. She worked creatively with us to settle on a price and volume that fit our needs. **What do you dislike about Reflektion?** Paperwork first presented was vary basic, as a larger company we required more protections, etc. Not until after we marked up the original docs, did we discover they had more robust language they could have presented. Lesson Learned, ask for what you require before you begin to redline. **What problems is Reflektion solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Website's internal search engine is highly manual and not very effective.
