"Not user friendly"

What do you like best about RedTeam Flex?

We really enjoyed the Sage 300 Construction integration and being able to enter invoices into RedTeam. We had a rough time making sure that the invoices were integrating properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex?

It was not use friendly for our subcontractos. They were not able to navigate through and pull needed information. The drawings upload was also a difficult task trying to keep updated/ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our estimating and scheduling features are very user friendly and we are glad to see this is what you like best about RedTeam Flex. Although you dislike some processes having required fields, we have those required fields to make sure any field that is necessary does not get left out and it helps avoid issues with the project down the road. "Great Software for All Construction Businesses"

What do you like best about RedTeam Flex?

There are many features about Redteam that we like. Real-time information for all team members to be on the same page. Next, the program is user-friendly. Training our staff on the software has been a breeze. Redteam's ability to work with other software platforms liek Quickbooks and Sage is extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex?

There isn't much I can say that I dislike, except for a recent update that changed how their system understand the division codes, not a big deal, just a change from what I was familiar with in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's great that you like many features about RedTeam. Our integration capabilities has really brought value to general contractors such as yourself. What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex?

Sometimes the system can be slow to respond, and too often I have to log out and log back in when I'm on a tab that I'm working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RedTeam Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?

Resolving the issue of information being spread across multiple platforms, such as MS Office, DropBox, and Bluebook. Having our pre-bid and construction processes in one area is very helpful. Also, trying to reconcile various change orders in MS Excel was a nightmare. With RedTeam, change orders are easy to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

RedTeam is great for keeping the paperwork of a general contractor organized. From subcontractor agreements and certificates of insurance to daily field reports and invoices, you can store everything within RedTeam, making it a one-stop software for general contractors. Occasionally RedTeam can be glitchy. I've had instances where clicking a link in RedTeam does not take you to the correct page or the formatting on a particular page makes it difficult to perform a function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering RedTeam Flex:

I recommend working closely with RedTeam support to implement it at your company. It can be complex software, so take your time to learn all of its capabilities and list what functions you want to use before rolling it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RedTeam Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?

With RedTeam as our primary project management software, we can generate and store subcontractor agreements, create daily job site reports, and record invoices against contracts that sync directly to our accounting software. What do you like best about RedTeam Flex?

I love the financial tools of this program. They are sophisticated enough to eliminate Sage and move to Quick Books for financial statements. All the job cots reports needed for construction-related tasks are so easy to use and updated immediately, no lag time between reporting and actual costs.

The daily reports for the field crews are easy to do and straightforward.

Collaboration tab for any document that goes out to the internal and external teams is fantastic!!

I enjoy taking a project from an opportunity to complete that project.

The submittal workflow is also an excellent tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RedTeam Flex?

The estimating and bidding software is not quite there. There are a lot of redundant steps needed to add information that could just be automatically prefilled with some quick change in programming.

The RFI tool needs to be made to operate like the submittal tool. They have the RFIs buried in the dialogue tab and it is not always easy to navigate. Making the RFIs go through a workflow process, like the submittals, would be awesome.

Being able to receive bids with multiple cost codes would be great too. Right now, a site contractor with (4) or (5) cost codes needs to submit separate bids for each code. Or I need to go through and enter their quote into each code on the estimate. This is an area where they could make it automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Please look at all the tools throughly. Think about how you will use the software and ask specific questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is RedTeam Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving how to reduce overhead by switching from Procore and Sage accounting. RedTeam needs to make a few tweaks, and they will have THE best construction management and financial tool on the market. We can use fewer apps to communicate during a project. We are working on making RedTeam the only app we have to use!! So much potential. I would love to spend a few days with the development crew to go over what can make them great!!
