REDCap is an amazing software to create, administer and store secured patient data. It also allows for automated reminder for longitudinal surveys. What do you dislike about REDCap? I do wish that REDCap has more built in statistical capabilities so that we are able to quickly tabulate reports of new data coming in at the end of each week. The best part of REDCap is that it's HIPPA compliant, which is very important to my lab that does a lot of clinical research studies. It's easy to pull and analyze data from REDCap since there's API support in R and Python. It's hard to make changes to your survey design after your project goes live. The built-in tools for descriptive statistics are helpful but can be pretty basic.
