I've been using Shift for a few years now, and it's been a total game changer for managing my inboxes and calendars. I use three google suite for work and other app, that are all in one place with Shift.

This is the best feature I link, to have all under control in one click, without switching from window to window every time.

I love that Shift allows me to seamlessly transition between multiple email accounts and workspaces, helping me manage different clients effortlessly. The integration of various plugins, like GroupMe and messaging apps, centralizes all my communications. Shift's passkey integration and password manager have significantly simplified managing multiple accounts, reducing frustration. Furthermore, the stability and effective customer service have been outstanding. I hate having to use the LastPass plugin in Shift because it requires logging in for every Chrome instance, which is cumbersome and inconvenient. Furthermore, the LastPass extension doesn't work well for me within Shift, which adds to my frustration. Thankfully, using the password manager in Shift has mostly mitigated this issue, as it's been seamless and effective. However, if Shift could incorporate the functionality of Motion, it would eliminate the need for me to juggle two different apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Shift for about ten years primarily to set up my primary workspaces to increase my productivity and avoid having multiple apps open in multiple windows. I love how Shift leverages Google Workspace to create a tightly integrated environment across multiple businesses. Setting up was easy, the hundreds of app integrations stunned me, and configuring each space was a great experience. The unified search is incredibly powerful for solving inefficiency problems, and having apps installed in either a single workspace or across workspaces provides a consistent interface. I can install Shift on multiple systems, and it brings my environment up without leaving any footprint. I give it a 10 out of 10 and consistently recommend it to others as an evangelist. Very occasionally I will get signed out of a mail account (because of an issue with the mail provider) and I have to relaunch Shift to get back in. No big deal though - I've never been concerned enough to report it as a bug - but I know if I did, they'd repsond and fix quickly, as they have with any other minor issues I've mentioned. Sometimes applications are not fully well integrated. Example: Slack. In addition, wanting to change the main email account associated with the Shift account is a challenge. I've been using Shift now for >5 years now. I use it all day, every day. It enables me to manage all of my various email accounts and document workspaces (Google and Microsoft) in a single, unified webapp, including an integrated search capability across all documents, emails, calendar items, contacts and internet. Amazing UX/UI. I'm also able to load Shift onto ANY desktop computer, mine, a friend's, at a business center, etc. Login as me, an voila, I'm able to access all of the same info, without setting up my accounts on friends, family or stranger's browsers. Finally, Shift supports hundreds of 3rd party app integrations into this single browser-based interface. Fast tech support response times as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a virtual assistant, I have many email accounts to keep up with. Shift is the only tool that I've found to manage 20+ email accounts efficiently. Not only can I immediately see notification numbers for each of the accounts but I'm also able to add social media profiles that I check on regularly. The best part is that I do not have to log in and out of each account! I really don't know what I would do without Shift. Some of the email accounts occasionally become disconnected but it is usually not too hard to get longed back in again. And some of the applications that I have tried do not seem to work seamlessly with Shift. Maybe that will improve over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love having all my email accounts (about a half-dozen) in one place. I used to miss messages when I had to log out and log back into email to see them, and now it's as easy as toggling between accounts on the left margin. I think of Shift as a control center, a big board where I can easily and quickly see what's going on—it's the first thing I look at every time I turn on the computer. I have tried adding applications to monitor things like Slack via Shift as well, and (at least for the applications I've used) found that I lose some of the functionality of the individual applications themselves.
