## About Shift
Shift is a customizable browser built for people who live in their browser all day. Unlike standard browsers, Shift lets you drag and drop apps, bars, and controls to build a layout that actually matches how you work. Choose from 6 starter templates or build from scratch. Either way, you end up with a browser that fits your workflow, not the other way around. Whether you're a freelancer juggling clients, a remote worker managing multiple tools, or an entrepreneur running several projects at once, Shift gives you the flexibility to shape your digital workspace around your life. Sign into 1,500+ web apps, stay logged into multiple accounts at once, and use Spaces to keep work, side hustles, and personal browsing completely separate. Shift AI is built right in, so you can summarize pages, draft content, and get answers without jumping between tools or losing your train of thought. Everything you need lives in one place — your calendar, email, project management tools, and favorite apps — all accessible without the tab overload that comes with a standard browser. No more context-switching chaos, just one calm, organized place to get things done and stay focused on what actually matters. Shift is a Certified B Corp, a pioneer in carbon-neutral browsing, and has been recognized as a top browser on G2, TrustRadius, and SourceForge. Founded in 2016 in Victoria, BC, and part of the Redbrick portfolio, Shift is reimagining what a browser can do, not just for productivity, but for the planet.

## Shift Reviews
 ### 1. SHIFT your workflow today

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The ease of switching between tabs and programs saves me a huge amount of time

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Some minor issues with third party addons not working but this doesn't impact me greatly

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shift solves the problem of opening new tabs every day, moving between programs and houses all my info in one place

 ### 2. Efficiency and Ease of Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Shift?**

One stop shop - I have access to everything I need from one application. I can access email, calendar, and essential tools from one dashboard/UI

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Sometimes (infrequently) I'll have to restart shift for it to function properly. Some of the apps logout frequently- like Evernote, but that's not Shifts problem.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it so much easier for me to stay in one place to access all the various tools and resources I need throughout my day.

 ### 3. Used to be great UNTIL the latest update.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan D. | Social Media Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Shift?**

It reallyl helps be be more efficient and centralized in my platforms, tasks, emails, etc.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

They recently updated it and now it's got a ton of strange quirks. When I try to click between apps it now takes me to apps I didn't click on, or it refreshes the app and I have to wait for it to load. It's just a lot less efficient than it once was.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to centralize your platforms into a unified workspace. But the latest update is a really downer.

 ### 4. Great concept, terrible execution.

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jace T. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

In this case, the most important things are those that I don't like. At the surface and in their marketing, Shift is something that should ideally be saving time and making users more productive. If the app functioned as advertised and promised, it would be stellar. I like the concept of a single place for all my web apps, little to no internet tabs and working on a singular mac desktop for most of my day. If Shift could live up their promotions; it would a full star review.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I have spent more time researching and chatting with Shift Support trying to solve the litany of bugs, app crashing, and broken browser support to pay for a Shift extension in perpautity.

This app is rife with bugs and, worse, performance issues. I am having multiple web apps become unusable multiple times a day; their resolution is to hard reset the Shift app or install and re-install the web apps. A high-maintenance, buggy browser is not what I consider a productivity tool or time saver. I am starting to think I've been duped and the 50 chrome tabs would at least save me that hassle of restarting my apps constantly.

I loved the concept and was excited to potentially get my organization to use the software; I would have been SO embarrassed had I recommended to software to any colleagues as I would have sent them on a path of wasted time and productivity

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, Shift is solving the million-chrome-tab dilemma that plagues modern working professionals. In reality, they've simply created their own nightmare of bad performing software that saves 0 time or frustration.

 ### 5. Shift saves me so much time in switching between inboxes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa M. | Online Business Manager | Project Manager | Virtual Assistant | Owner, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I love that I can add all of my inboxes client inboxes that I manage to Shift, so I can easily toggle back and forth from one to the other. Also the ability to add project management apps and some social media management apps really comes in handy.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

It uses up a ton of computer resources and memory! Someone with a cheaper laptop (lower speed, lower RAM) might have problems. Sometimes it over-powers mine and I have a fairly powerful laptop. I now close out Shift if I don't need to have it open to make it easier to get other stuff done or if I have a Zoom call (because it can affect the quality of the video call). I have it set to not start automatically on reboot and to not run in the background when I close it. I used to have to go into Task Manager to close the processes for it after closing Shift, to make my computer happier - because I work it hard with a variety of software and sometimes up to 60 browser tabs open. Having said all that, it's still worth it to be because of the time it saves me.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Make sure your computer has a good amount of RAM and speed.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of time - it saves me time in switching back and forth to different email inboxes and project management systems for my own and clients' without having to open everything in the browser. I always have too many browser tabs open as it is.

 ### 6. Slow decent into frustration

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

When I started using Shift two years ago it was such a revolution for my productivity and organization. Everything in one window, all my client email accounts, all of my tools, everything all in one place. No more logging out of one account to long into another or using multiple browsers to go between email accounts. Anyway, it was awesome.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

With every update it gets worse. And by worse it's like they're not doing any testing before they release an update and then wait for the customer to tell them what is not working. It's just so sad and it really bums me out. I came to G2 to find an alternate solution. I am hopeful I can find one that is good as Shift used to be.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you work in multiple email accounts and use a lot of 3rd party tools Shift is very good at streamlining it all together. I have not found a tool that I use that is not integrated.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in dozens of windows and desktops on a mac, shift allows me to consolidate a lot of what I would have open and keeps it all in one place instead of having to find the right window for the task at hand.

 ### 7. Communication Productivity App for Desktop

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** KyleQC Q. | eCom director at QuikCamo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I've been using it for just over 2 weeks and it has a great, clean, intuitive and nice user interface. All of the apps that I've connected sync well. I'm just trying to get TikTok to connect.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

There's really not much to dislike, other than maybe if you don't need it to keep all of your messaging apps in one easy to navigate place. It also costs about $99/Year so there's that.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to keep my messages organized from Gmail, to Shopify customer inquires, to social media. It helps reduce time switching tabs or apps by putting them all in once place.

 ### 8. Organization in life that I didn't know I needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian S. | Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Everything I need to be productive and focused in my work life and my personal life is included in Shift. The ability to customize and add services makes it a very powerful tool.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Shift is constantly improving. The list of integrated apps is growing, but sometimes an app you really want is not there. You can suggest it, but it takes time to add it to the program.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of opening so many different sites and apps, all of them are a click away in Shift. I don't have the become distracted by opening other windows. Shift helps keep me focused.

 ### 9. Works pretty good, still some issues

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony I. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Helps me eaisly jump between mailboxes and other accounts I regularly use

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Certain apps freeze, don,t load, and/or have trouble updating. I've emailed support multiple times about multiple issues and questions and it's been 2 months with no reply.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

logging in many times per day

 ### 10. Best App For Streamlining Work Programs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyler H. | VP of Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I love the Shift app it has streamlined so many parts of my workday by bringing my emails, Slack, Trello, and many other apps I use daily into one platform. This prevents me from keeping so many tabs open and has freed up RAM on my computer so I can open larger programs without slowing down my machine.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

As with any app, there is a slight learning curve but it's mainly just getting used to having many of the programs you use in a day in one place. I have also had issues with opening up video calls to share my screen. This seems to be a bug.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Upload all the available apps you use and see how great it is to switch between them

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This prevents me from keeping so many tabs open and has freed up RAM on my computer so I can open larger programs without slowing down my machine. I have shared this with all my team members because of how much it helps.

 ### 11. Still got some way to go before it's the tool it claims to be.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliott G. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

It keeps all things in one place which is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

It is a very poorly polished tool that doesn't give you much room to customise for your own needs.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can view all my emails in one place. Once the email profiles load....

 ### 12. Poor ROI - Bad Support

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff F. | EVP-Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Easily switch between email accounts without having to close account windows

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Have been using Shift for over a year. Just a month after signing up for a paid pro version, I found that there were too many bugs in the system and tried to cancel my subscription. Upon doing so, the shift team offered me a full year of the pro version for free. So, they refunded me and I took the offer.

I must say that while the platform was useful, it comes with challenges. Every other day there would be a glitch somewhere in the dashboard, or a new update. Many times the dashboard would open up, but would not function. Meaning I could not navigate through any of my mail, folders, drafts.. This was extremely frustrating.

While support would have me uninstall the software, try an alpha or beta version instead, each with their own bugs and glitches, which I gladly would create a support ticket for. I just was fed up with having to be their guinea pig and never any real fix or improvement.

When I saw that my subscription was about to expire, I did reach out to them to see if they would continue my free "pro" subscription since I was a loyal customer and they simply told me NO! Not even a substantial discount. #Tryshiftfail

While I am always looking at new technology and innovative products for my team, TryShift just doesn't make the mark for both their product or their support! Poor customer Experience
They Don't Listen
#ShiftFail

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity!

 ### 13. Shift is the Way to Go

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily B. | Project manager/floor plan designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift makes work so much easier. It keeps me from having so many tabs open at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

That emails say sent with shift at the bottom

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Use it! It's worth it.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Productivity, easy to jump from thing to thing quickly. You can also see if you have unread emails on the sidebar.

 ### 14. Shift Does what it promises... it saves me time.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg A. | Founder & President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift allows me to access all of the tools I need to run my business on one single screen interface which saves me a ton of time throughout my work day. Switching quickly between tools like Slack, Monday.com, Google Drive, and Quickbooks is a game changer for my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The only thing I really dislike about Shift is the inability to disconnect email from the platform. It requires a common email platform to be connected like GSuite or Office 365. I don't want to use this software to check email but it sort of forces it to you which means there are always notification bar pings going off for email. Since I use different software for mail, that means I get double notifications which is annoying, but minor.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I'm saving is keeping my desktop nice and organized. Instead of having to keep multiple tabs open in my browser all day, I can focus on my work and still switch quickly and easily between the tools I use the most throughout the day.

 ### 15. Misleading ads

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Clean looking interface but don't know what to put here as I am not going to pay that kind of price just to use more than 1 application when the ads they are running imply it can be used with multiple apps for free. What you are getting for free is just an app-based email client.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The ads that are being run on social media are misleading. They imply that you can use the app switching for free encouraging you to sign up and download, never representing what is actually included (or I should say how much is not included) with the free version. Not until you actually get it set up and try to bring on a second app, do you realize they want a ridiculous amount of money for an app switcher with no idea of actual functionality. I completely understand the need to monetize and offering fewer features on a free version, but to not even be able to try the main feature of app switching prior to paying $100 makes this useless. It just becomes a glorified email client without signing up for the paid version.

I am not going to pay $100 without a feel for the basic functionality of the main problem this is intended to solve. A pricing structure that involves a short-term trial of the paid version would be much more beneficial. It took me less than 5 minutes of being on this application before deciding to uninstall it.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you simply want an app-based email client with no app switching capability (unless you pay the $100) then this would be good for you. If you want to actually use the app switching, be ready to spend $100 on something before even being able to attempt the functionality.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was hoping to use this as a solution for multiple applications but as soon as you are misled into downloading it, you then realize you can't even get a feel for it unless you pay them $100. So in the 5 minutes I had it, I realized it just gave me a way to view my single email account with no way to tie in any other apps. So no benefits and uninstalled within minutes.

 ### 16. Not Useful & Bad Cancelation Policy

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Visual Design and Interface is good. Pretty logo.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Customer Service. Features Not Very Useful. Terrible Cancelation Policy.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Beware of cancelation policy and 14-day trial window. Don't give them your credit card.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are solving a productivity problem. Unfortunately, their service did not benefit me.

 ### 17. The app that literally does it all! I'm in love!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelley B. | Owner/Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I wear many hats. I am a college student, a mother, a senior caregiver, an online retail shop owner, and the owner of a Virtual Assistant business. The applications I use daily range anywhere from simple word processors to design tools, online learning platforms, CRM's, project management apps, time tracking apps, and multiple email accounts from various platforms. With Shift, I have them all housed in one place. I can bounce back and forth easily and quickly without ever leaving the Shift app. Before I found Shift, I looked for the closest thing to an "all-in-one." application to help run my VA business. I couldn't find anything that fit my needs. Not even close! Then I stumbled upon this app. I not only have an all-in-one app for my VA business, but I have one that helps organize and run my whole life.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

There have been a few hiccups here and there, although nothing too serious. I keep trying to change my default email app to Shift in Windows 10, but it's not working. It sometimes works until I restart my computer. I've also had a couple of instances where ten or more processes were running in my task manager for Shift. It was using most of my system resources and taking up most of my memory. It only happens occasionally, and the easy fix is to end the processes and open the application again. It's a fair trade for the convenience this app has provided.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not running dozens of separate apps all at once. It's keeping my computer from being bogged down and slowed down by multiple programs running constantly. It's also saving me a lot of time by not having to stop working on one program, then open a new one, and switch windows so much. I also get distracted easily, so having everything in one application cuts down on that issue.

 ### 18. Shift the way you use Gmail

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Great way to search across all your email addresses. Also easy way to pop between email systems, have specified workspaces, and access applications you use freuently

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Because the system is its own workspace, it can butt heads with chrome extensions, so those may require special handling. The pluses outweight the minuses though

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy access to all my mail systems, sending emails from different addresses by simple account switching. Able to find emails or documents in a jiffy. This has substantially increased my productivity, especially the search function.

 ### 19. EH... eh?

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I like the functionality and UX/UI is very clean. I'm not sure what problems the app solves though - at least within my own organization.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I dislike the 'solution' presented to the table. While it is nice to have multiple e-mails up.. can we not do the same thing in tabs on a web browser?

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Back to the top.. no problems are being solved at this time.

 ### 20. Fantastic all-in-one platform for all your work needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David S. L. | Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The stability - I had issues with everything from in-browser use of Squarespace and Google Sheets to OS apps like Messenger, and I've never had a stability issue or restarting issue with Shift. I've since deleted the other apps because it works so well.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Other than an app or two I'd like them to add, I really have no complaints. It's worth the price for a basic plan if you use 3 to 100 apps, and even the free version works just as well as the paid one, which you can't say for every platform like this.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm running a podcast, website, inventory, and email/scheduling system all within Shift. Besides being integrated into a single platform, the platform is stable, doesn't refresh pages when you don't want it to (I'm looking at you, Safari), and integrating it all around a single email address makes scheduling and organizing a breeze.

 ### 21. Helpful, but doesn't replace other apps

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift is wonderful in that you can connect everything to its place! It's been super helpful for my side gig, which involves navigating back and forth between two different Google accounts, and it's been helpful to separate it for that. Also, the add on for different apps is super helpful as a workstation! I like the add-ons for all of the features. Instead of having to install extensions all over the place in Chrome (or my preferred browser, Brave)-- it seems to install all the extensions you need within Shift and then you can use it as best as you can in all your other accounts.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

It's SLOW and expensive! Unfortunately, I find myself going back to the regular desktop for everything else. Waiting to see how they integrate better workspaces because I don't like it as a browser (I go back to Chrome or Brave for that.) It's extremely slow and the workspaces get confusing (like can I build a workspace, but then have to add additional apps in there? It's kind of confusing and a bit offputting-- but I understand it is for the sake of compartmentalising.)

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multi-tasking has been helpful with solving Shift. Benefits have been great for my personal side-business, but less helpful through the working day on my laptop when I WFH from my current position, which is a bit silly and ridiculous. It's meant to help for work to replace the apps-- but I find the apps for the other work jobs to be similar and very much so, but I need to have the apps installed and it doesn't replace it at all.

 ### 22. Good context/account manager that works 90% of time

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andriy S. | Back End Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The possibility to switch between many gmail account in a fast way. I have more than 20 gmail accounts and switching between them was taking a lot of time. So shift speed up this process significantly.

It allows us to share computer with my wife and also keep my own contexts separately. For example, when I am programming I need to have a certain software available but when I do bookkeeping I need a complete different stack on hand.

Additionally I can share my workspace with my team and we all can improve our work-spaces in collaborative manner.

Shift has integration with many application required in day-to-day work and it also help to have separate contexts and save some time.

Shift has a pretty convenient shortcuts which allows to speed up working with this software.

Shift is actively developed, so new versions are coming every month.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Unfortunately it has some serious bugs which prevent our team using its exclusively.
1. It is slower to work via shift than directly in browser, its constantly freezing and became unresponsive especially in the beginning or when you add new account or app. Password managers (we use LastPass) are extremely and very unresponsive

2. Shift always open a gmail account and you inadvertently distracted to new emails sent to you - which can be not very productive.

3. It's very slow and uses all PC resources on Linux, it's responsiveness much higher on windows PC.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you need to manage a lot of gmail accounts and work exclusively on Windows - I would recommend to try shift. The highest advantage you can get if you use shift within your team - so you can share workspaces and develop them in a collaborative way.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solved the problem with contexts and improved my productivity especially when I switched between 20 gmail accounts. The benefits that this software showed me is how much time can be saved by dividing my work environment by contexts.

Additionally we got a lot of benefits when improving our work-spaces with whole team.

 ### 23. Powerhouse multi-tasker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I love how easy it is, how you can make workspaces and tabs. Email intergration is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Some intergrations don't work. (Grammarly, boomerang, etc) it doesn't have a "remember me". Also consistently loggs me out of my accounts on tabs.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a bunch of windows open. I hated having so many windows, but now it's all in one thing. My computer isn't sounding like a rocket ship anymore.

 ### 24. good multiuse tool for keeping things in one place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I like that all my notifications come from one app. So if I have 3 skype messages and 3 emails, it will say I have 6 notifications and I can just check them all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

sometimes there are technical bugs that affect the work. For example, the video / sound was not working on skype once for weeks so I had to download the actual skype app.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think I respond to things more quickly, its more efficient, I can easily pull up an email while on a call and its all in one place.

 ### 25. Ok but missing tools that would really make my day easier - I keep returning to chrome browser

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kantoorkabouter D. | freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

good for switching between several mailboxes - just to manage inbox but no more

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

- have the advanced paid version
- keeps freezing, have to go through ctrl alt del daily to unfreeze, helpdesk cannot help
- cannot view several tabs side by side - keep going back to chrome for that
- cannot call directly from webpages to smartphone (phonelink by right click)
- missing several apps I use daily

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it allowed me to manage all mailboxes from one tool (i work as a freelancer for six clients so have six mailboxes to follow).

 ### 26. Strong productivity tool for a Mac.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrei U. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift allows me to seamlessly navigate between my Enterprise and personal Gmail suites. It also brings all of my messaging apps to one place.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

My password management tool (Dashlane) doesn't integrate with Shift. Some of the messenger tools don't proactively show new messages and require regular re-authentication.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you use multiple messaging apps (skype, slack, whatsapp, telegram, facebook messenger, etc.), make sure you add them to Shift - you will have one interface for managing all messages.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily navigating between personal and work accounts. Seamlessly switching between email, calendar and Google drive.

 ### 27. Great for managing several inboxes or applications

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madeline S. | Client Success Manager/ Salesforce Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I love that you can have several G Suite or Outlook inboxes open at once, or a combinaton of both. As the account admin i can easily add team members to this application. When my company made the switch from G Suite to O365 this past year, the Shift team worked with me directly as they launched their O365 integration and helped to make sure my team was setup correctly.

I loved recommending this product to our executive assistant because one of the inboxes she manages is so large it takes forever to load. Shift made it possible for her to efficiently manage the inbox.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I dislike that Shift uses quite a bit of processing power. The app usually runs smoothly, but your other applications might suffer if your device is mainly meant for browser use. We have quite a few macbook airs at our company and those devices have the most difficult time when shift is running.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to manage several inboxes at once and keep them oranized. I can also be logged into multiple instances of the same application at once which is a huge benefit.

I loved recommending this product to our executive assistant because one of the inboxes she manages is so large it takes forever to load. Shift made it possible for her to efficiently manage the inbox while also being able to manage her own.

The best benefit of the application is that it keeps applications open and organized. It's a real game changer if you're trying to get away from 10,000 tabs in your browser.

 ### 28. Overpriced for Limited Functionality

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith D. | Real Estate Agent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Obviously, being able to switch between apps / accounts.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Price. Lack of support for essential Chrome extentions.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Great solution IF you don't rely on Chrome extensions for your daily workflows and IF you don't have to personally pay the steep price per user OR IF you don't need team workspaces functionality and don't mind the price tag for just yourself...

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple accounts used on the same sites / platforms.

 ### 29. Shift wastes more time than it saves, which is a slap in the face at the price they ask

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Back when it worked as advertised, it is a clean and time saving interface that makes searching several webmail accounts super easy. It was a great solution for folks that prefer using gmail's web application as Google has done a brilliant job.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Shift does not keep gmail accounts logged in, no matter what you do. Shift says this is a "known issue" and is "part of a limitation with gmail specifically" which is odd to me, because my web browsers seem to keep gmail logged in until I clear cookies (rarely). I have a half dozen email accounts integrated into shift, and every single one bugs me to log in again at least 2-3 times a week. Shift does have a Lastpass integration which you would think solves this issue...but Lastpass ALSO routinely stops working. I never works for more than 1 week at a time before requiring a complete hard reboot/application reset of shift to get working again. Another "known issue" that shift blames on Lastpass. Shift's own words to me upon creating a ticket and walking through troubleshooting steps multiple times: "The LastPass issue you previously mentioned is a known bug in Shift. Our development team is currently updating our entire extension library to improve the functionality of LastPass and our other extensions. Additionally, we are working on launching a Password Manager inside of Shift. Both of these updates should be available in the next month. In regards to the issue you are experiencing with Shift logging you out of your email accounts - this is a technical limitation of Shift that is recognized by our development team. We are hoping that the Password Manager in Shift will help make this a less frustrating process for our users. I am sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you and I thank you for your patience!"

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shift saved time when it worked, but it is ultimately so unreliable that it takes more time to use Shift than it does to just stick to a web browser with gmail logged into multiple accounts at once. And Lastpass ALWAYS works in a web browser. So in short, Shift is totally useless.

 ### 30. No more Chrome tabs for all my email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnny A. | Director of Development & Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift is fast and handles multiple Google accounts like a champ. Best part is they've extended it beyond just Gmail and you can access each accounts Google apps without mixing them up or having to open a new browser.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Shift has a lot of power and consequently isn't cheap. For someone like me that only uses it as an email client, it's pretty expensive.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Shift is great if you juggle multiple G Suite accounts and like the Google interface. If you're looking just for an email client, there are cheaper options.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work in a nonprofit and manage multiple email accounts. I really like the Gmail interface and like keeping each email totally separate. The problem? I end up with 5 to 6 tabs for different accounts or multiple windows logged into each account. It's a mess and a multiple Chrome tabs with Gmail just eats up the memory on my laptop.

Shift is the perfect solution. Each tab is a different account, I can access each individually, switch quickly back and forth, and my computer is never bogged down.

 ### 31. Get this free trial off of my computer

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Functionality is neat, it's organized in an interesting way.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

This free trial is brutal. The app is configured to pop-up, notify you, and bother you with updates constantly. I used it for a bit and never committed to the free trial - it's been bothering me for months since. "Well why don't you just delete it?" This app requires extra steps to delete (or disable) and I found it difficult.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you're trying a simple free trial to test it out, don't bother.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Was trying to solve productivity and efficiency, but gained a brutal pop-up on my laptop.

 ### 32. Nice Idea. but speed is a factor - very slow between apps / accounts

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Hardware | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The premise of consolidating accounts seems great. I use multiple Gmail accounts, and other tools - so the idea of having that all under one roof is great

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Speed - its actually slower than me switching tabs, between Gmail accounts on my own -waaaay, slower. And, as I have read in other reviews, it is a massive CPU Hog. I paid for it two days ago, and I don't want to use it anymore it is that slow.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

it is slow and a CPU Hog

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of multiple email accounts - the benefit is having them all in one place. But that is negated by the speed issue

 ### 33. Killer PC APP that makes your PC as efficient and usable as an ipad or iphone.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan M. | Licensed Realtor®, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift allows you to aggregate all of your web applications used for business into one user friendly interface that is about as usable as an Ipad or iPhone. It is the biggest app to increase my efficiency since well, the invention of the CRM I think. I am very stunned at the level of innovation going on with the developers of this app.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

There isn't really much to dislike. There could be more integrations, but they are doing their best to add as many as possible and what do you expect for the amount of money they charge? It's an excellent value proposition already so very few complaints. It would be nice if they had mobile support. I could see some cool possibilities there.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Don't wait, it's an amazing investment as is. It will improve your efficiency hands down. It integrates with almost every web platform imaginable.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My main problem is efficiency. I don't have to load a bunch of chrome windows and eat up all my RAM. I have everything I need for my work flow in one user interface on pc or mac.

 ### 34. The easiest and best work experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lillian W. | Head of Marketing and Partnerships , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The best part of Shift is that everything is in one place. I no longer have to shift through tabs or desktops to communicate with my team. It makes work so much easier. Everything I use on a daily basis - Facebook, Slack, Google Hangouts, all my email services, WhatsApp, are all in one place! I never have to fear I am missing some lingering message on some server.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I dislike how google hangouts is a premium feature. I feel that google is a pretty basic feature for most of the other tools I work for, and I feel here it should be as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Try the free version of shift for a week. It takes a bit of time getting used to having everything in one place , but in the end after the adaptation time is finished, you really use it. As a manager or project leader - try it for 10 work days and then really implement it into your teams working tools. It is very much worth their time to use it daily. You will gain so much on productivity and cost opportunity.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The time I spend missing messages, lost in tabs, etc. I feel like all forms of my work life communication are in one place and I never miss anything. The notifications keep me up to date at all times.

For responding in a timely manner to clients - Shift has really been the best opportunity for this.

 ### 35. Good at what it does, but can I really justify the cost?

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gregory J. | Associate Director of Digital Advertising, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I really appreciate how easy it is for me to switch between key apps such as Gmail, Slack, Trello, etc. It's a small thing you don't think about, but it really does create efficiencies during my day. It's fast, easy to use and an all-around useful product.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Not every single connected app is truly fully functional in the same way that a desktop add would be. Essentially, Shift is simply acting as a locked-down internet browser and certain connected apps are rendering as bookmarked pages or progressive web apps. In some cases, that's perfectly fine (e.g., Trello and Slack are solid), but if you have apps that constantly ask you for logins and your login info is in a password manager or simply saved in your browser, you might not find those apps all that useful (e.g, Hootsuite is an important platform in my workflow that I never used in Shift because of this).

Perhaps the biggest downside of this app is the price. Its pricing is structured on an annual basis, which means it's yet another subscription to keep track of — unless your company is paying for it. On a monthly cost basis, it may not seem like much, but can I really justify $99 for the full set of features for a year? I'm not so sure.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Give it a try. There's really nothing to lose by seeing if you like it, especially because they do offer a free version with some steep caveats. Decide whether or not you think the ~$100 you'll have to pay on a yearly basis is really being recouped based on your efficiencies. For me, it's probably not worth that, but I could definitely see it being really important for others.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shift helps me switch between important apps/platforms with ease — saving me time and headaches from having to flip through browser tabs or keep a huge taskbar of apps open.

 ### 36. Saves so much time in daily tasks.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erika J. | Digital Strategist, Big Picture Creator, Tech-Lover and Goal Crusher, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I love that everything is in one spot and easy to use. No multiple windows, no continuing to log in and out and saves on a lot of time and stress.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Every once and a while the app stability is shakey. There have been a few times where I get a sudden log out and it is random.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to complete tasks that are given to me via email. I have been able to install so many apps and connect so many things that I can complete a task in 2 clicks instead of 3 or 4.

 ### 37. 6/10 A new way to access your favourite apps

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift is a decent desktop app which allows us to streamline accounts, workflows, and apps in one place. It's an excellent and logical solution for handling all of the things in a better way. It helps them to customise the workstation to work efficiently and effectively.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The program has had issues from time to time with how it handles toggling between different accounts. Because of the latest technology, many people don't have any idea about it, on how to use it and work on it to perform well.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

People can add applications they utilise the most to Shift, and use an end to logging out and logging nightmare. It helps the clients to give a more productive web experience. It helps to toggle in multiple applications to work efficiently.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clients using it can add multiple extensions to work in their tasks effectively. It also gives the feature to customise the dashboard according to their requirements and needs. It helps them much to work and perform with ease and perform well.

 ### 38. Bugged !! Ctrl + Z will close your window

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Easy to setup
Works great for emails and multicommunations (when it's not bugged...)

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

CTRL + Z in France - where the W is at the same spot than the Z on a QWERTY keyboard - will close your window. So it's impossible to use.
I've paid for the full solution and it worked great until this bugged happen. They won't fix it and they wont refund me so I switched to Franz. Generally speaking, it's a better option.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Don't install it ! Use Franz instead..

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All your communications in one App.

 ### 39. Game-changer for daily efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel G. | Productivity Consultant, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Every day I need constant access 4 email inboxes and calendars, 5 Slack workspaces, Evernote, Toggl, and ClickUp - Shift has made it possible to run all simultaneously, saving my computer some effort while conveniently putting everything in one dashboard. It really has significantly improved my daily working style.
My computer runs faster because it's running fewer apps independently.
I can be in multiple GDrives at once with little confusion and errors jumping from one to another.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I do have a lot running in Shift, but maybe 1-2 times a day I have to reload the app because it glitches somehow.
The left panel with all the icons - I wish they could be smaller so I can add more. I also wish the color coding would remain, not just show when I'm in the app.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Try the free version before committing.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Daily efficiency! My chrome browser is no longer confused because I don't have 4 accounts open at once.
I didn't realize how much time I spent waiting for things to load, jumping from app to app. Shift removes all of that and is saving me time I didn't know I was missing.

 ### 40. Best Desktop To Manage Communication Apps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

It's easy to navigate within one application, saves a lot of time and makes our job to be more qualitative.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

It's expensive to get the full version of the shift application, currently using the free part of the application.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

I would recommend this software to those who are working for the business side, especially when their part of work involves lot of communication using emails, Slack, JIRA, etc.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I mainly use it for emails and social media applications like WhatsApp. Very easy to manage my emails and like the design of the application.

 ### 41. All your applications on one screen!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debra K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

It is so nice to have all your daily applications and/or webpages that you use available to you on the same screen. Sometimes when I'm using it I forget that I do not have to open another browser or application...they are just all there!

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The UI is getting better. They still are not quite connected with all the applications that I use. Sometimes there seem to be some update issues with the application and Shift, but that has been rare.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Try it out!

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All email accounts on one screen - not multiple tabs open on the web browser. Able to easily switch between task management, email, and music all without leaving my main screen. Way more efficient! There is a major benefit

 ### 42. So far - its a godsend!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin L. | Project Coordinator, P4G, Think Tanks, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

So great to have somewhere where I'm already signed in to multiple accounts. Just the ability to use slack and g-suite all in one place is super convenient. It is extremely simple, but makes everything feel so much more streamlined. I can get to work immediately in the morning instead of thinking about signing into and monitoring so many different accounts.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Sometimes if you haven't opened slack in a few minutes, when you click back into it, it takes a while to load. Would be great if it were always instant. I also experience that when I am using a monitor - the the application is open in the second screen, when I unplug laptop from the monitor, I can't get shift to open on my primary screen. It means you have to drag the window back to your primary screen before unplugging from monitor. Minor but a bit annoying. The types of things I hope get smoothed out if it is something I am going to pay for.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Really helps with my general productivity. Streamlined way to keep be as responsive as possible to coworkers while still focusing on the main task in front of me.

 ### 43. Shift brings your favorite service together in one easy to use app.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darin S. | General Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Authenticating with each of my services through Shift makes it easy to move seamlessly from Outlook.com to GMail then to Twitter, Evernote, Paypal, Canvas, Dropbox, and more!

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

You need the pro version to manage more than 2 accounts.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shift lets me use a single app for all my online services. Previously, I might have 5 browser windows open, or just not check things like Twitter because going to the site and logging in felt like a hassle.

 ### 44. 6/10 Organise your apps in one place

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift is a decent platform which allowed me to increase my productivity as well as staying more focused during tasks.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I dislike the fact you need to pay to be able to gain access to more apps on your dashboard.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Shift is a great application, the layout is easy to use and is modern, I recommend you give it a try and find out for yourself as there are costs involved if you require extra features.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I was looking for a platform that would help me improve how productive I am as well as staying more focused.

 ### 45. Holy Central Hub!!!!!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Travis E. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

What I love most about this product is I'm able to take my typical 9 browser window tabs on a daily basis all in one central hub. I work with multiple email accounts and softwares for my business and It allows me to have EXTREMELY easy access to everything in one "window" or hub. It truly has saved me a TON of time switching from account to accounts. Simply AWESOME!

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The thing I probably dislike the most about Shift is it can be slightly buggy at times to where I have to close the program down and re-open it. It's not a HUGE deal but it is something that I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

If you are someone that, like me, has multiple browser windows and tabs open or have multiple email accounts and use numerous softwares on a daily basis I HIGHLY recommend giving Shift a try.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business problems I am solving by using Shift is decluttering my browser and putting it all into one window and it's allow me to have much more efficiency through out my work day. LIterally everything I need on a daily basis to operate business is located all in one hub and it has been a game changer!

 ### 46. Focus on work not other stuff

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony M. | Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Shift has enabled me to stay focused on my work and not be destructed by a thousand opened tabs in a web browser.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

The only thing I dislike is that when I click on a pdf inside of Asana I’m directed to a browser tab instead of the pdf opening up inside of Shift. As I manage tons of projects that require sending hundreds of PDFs over for proofing each day, this is the biggest draw back of Shift so far. If this gets corrected, I’ll be a raving fan.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

I would absolutely recommend Shift to anyone that needs to multi-task without all the distractions and temptations of jumping from one thing to another in a web browser.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to be tempted to pop in and out of work tasks...personal social media, sports scores, news, and then back to work. After working inside of Shift for one day, I realized at the end of that day how focused I was and how I hadn’t even touched those online temptations.

 ### 47. One screen for everything

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley C. | Volunteer Coordinator, Religious Institutions, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I like that I can connect so many profiles and accounts and access everything from one screen. I like having email, Slack, Evernote, Social Report, Todoist, and DropBox all at my fingertips and not have to switch apps to use them.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

I don't love the notifications, and I find turning them off to be unintuitive.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do a better job keeping up with my different workflow apps, including email, now that I use Shift.

 ### 48. Work in progress

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Shift?**

The ease to use different website and apps in one screen, while you can switch fast between them.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

You still have to login so many times on different website or the page has to reload completely. This is stopping from working fast.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to open all my business accounts in 1 click and close them during the weekend.

 ### 49. One place to rule them all

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco M. | Programmatore, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Shift?**

Jokes apart, Shift is one amazing software. It groups your Google apps into a single software that allows you to save time and clicks to reach what you're looking for. While typing an email, you might want to check your Calendar, attach a file on your Drive, check your Keep notes. Now try to think if you had to do it in your browser. It would require you to open a tab for each service. With Shift, instead, you do everything on a single window.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Shift is a free software but to take the most out of it, you have to pay for it. The free tier doesn't let you use all the Google services and appends to every email "Sent with Shift". Those are the only drawbacks of the free version, while the Pro version has every bell and whistles.

**Recommendations to others considering Shift:**

Shift is a great application, even in its free tier, if you prefer having an app to check your email, rather than using your browser. But when you go Pro, that's when Shift really releases its full potential. You'll notice the quality of Shift as soon as you use it, and you won't regret going Pro! I truly recommend it.

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shift simplified our communication with customers, allowing us to quickly check appointments, notes and files before or as we write an email.

 ### 50. Awesome product for users with multiple emails to track.

**What do you like best about Shift?**

I like how seamless it is to move between multiple different email addresses especially with the ability to use google drive/calendar/etc.

**What do you dislike about Shift?**

Every few months do you need to authenticate. It's only a pain if your supervisor has their phone number linked to the email addresses (which is not Shift's fault).

**What problems is Shift solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When there are multiple email campaigns being processed, we can use different addresses and I am in the know on responses.
