Redactic is a document redaction and data masking platform for law firms, accounting and payroll firms, HR teams, real estate agencies, psychologists and other organisations that handle documents containing personal data. The platform processes PDFs, scanned documents, Word files and Excel spreadsheets. It detects names, addresses, IBANs, phone numbers, email addresses and national identifiers from more than 15 countries, many of them validated against their official check digits, including the Italian codice fiscale, the German Steuer-ID, the Dutch BSN, the Polish PESEL, the UK NHS number and the US Social Security number. Scanned pages are processed with OCR. Each finding can be reviewed before export. Redactic offers two protection modes. Permanent redaction removes the selected text from the file itself rather than covering it, so it cannot be recovered. Masking replaces each value with a consistent placeholder, allowing documents to be used with ChatGPT and other AI models without exposing real names to the model; the original values are restored locally in the browser when the answer is returned. Documents are processed on European infrastructure and are not retained after processing. Each export includes a redaction certificate, and a data processing agreement is included in every plan. Pricing starts at €19 per month for the Solo plan and €49 per month for the Firm plan, with Enterprise and on-premise options for larger organisations.
