Your client agreed to a call, not to a bot. Recordist keeps the record without joining: it records your laptop's own microphone and sound, so nothing is added to the participant list, on Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex or Slack huddles, whoever hosts. By default a card asks when a call starts, and nothing is recorded until you say yes. The record stays with you. Every word is transcribed on your laptop, in dozens of languages, and Recordist never receives your audio: there is no Recordist server that could hold it. Press the time beside any line and hear it said, while the audio is kept. Then Recordist does the work after the call: a summary, decisions, open questions and action items, each linked to the line it came from and checked against the transcript. On the Mac, Promises keeps two lists, what you owe and what you are owed, in the words they were said. The follow-up email arrives drafted, for you to read, change and send. Open to the tools you already use. An open-source MCP server lets Claude, Cursor and any MCP client search the record on your laptop, with A2A and a local API for your own software. Export any meeting as Markdown, text, SRT, VTT or JSON, and leave whenever you like. For people whose word is their work: consultants and coaches, recruiters and HR, founders and their teams. Free records, transcribes and searches every call, with no time limit and no account, and every install starts with 7 days of Pro, with no card. Pro writes up every call, drafts the follow-up and answers questions across your recent meetings. Teams of 3 to 49 buy Pro in one checkout, with a key for each person. Plans and prices are on the Recordist website. For Mac, signed and notarised by Apple, with Windows and Linux in preview. The built-in engine writes the notes on your laptop; if you choose a cloud AI provider instead, the transcript goes to that provider under your own account, and the app's Privacy Ledger lists each request.
