"Recorded future tool review"

What do you like best about Recorded Future?

collection of global intelligence from multiple threat feeds, and analyst notes will help in deep understanding for any threat.

Threat library is a place where we can get complete details.

Yara rules and sigma rules helps in hunting activities.

Targeted intel like brand abuse credential leaks and logo abuse is a great feature available in RF.

24/7 support for better understanding and guidance.

we can create watchlist and graphs and relations based on our requirement for any threat (regional ,sector, source base.....)

for creating automations rf will help in providing playbooks.

Sandboxing feature which is really a great and highly appreciated one.

Rf is a much recommeded threat Intel platform for our daily activties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cyber threat intel with Recorded future with my organization"
5/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

As a cyber threat intelligence analyst, I find the risk rules for each vulnerability incredibly helpful in assessing criticality. I appreciate how rapidly I can research vulnerabilities and determine their relevance to my company. The sandboxing feature is great for safely exploring the dark web to find information from ransomware groups or other threat actors. There have been several instances where I’ve checked ransomware extortion pages to verify if leaked company data is legit. Customer support is extreamly friendly and we will be having frequent connect with respective POC. We are currently using IOC enrichment API to our XSIAM for effective usage which we are using it in daily baisis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

Advanced Search should be easier to use and naviagate.

Sometime the volume of alerts can be overwhelming, tuning the tool takes time.

Also pricing is quite expensive, I feel. I would have to agree that there are lot of good than bad. With its few flaws also I would always prefer RF over most of the Tools available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Building Threat Intelligence Workflows with Recorded Future"
4/5
What do you like best about Recorded Future?

I like how Recorded Future is a complete package. Do you need a Sandbox to detonate malware sample and URLs? RF has it. Do you need to be up-to-date on the latest developments in Information Security? RF is doing that for us well. Do you need to build a threat intelligence process around triaging relevant events to your organization? We are doing that with the Alerts and Playbook alerts features in RF. I also love how you can specify what is relevant for you using the "Watchlist" feature - and you can go even one step further - Automate the updates of the Watchlists programatically so you triage events which are only relevant to your organization.

All this would've been difficult to build if it wasn't for the lightning fast support that they provide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Recorded Future?

All of these great features come with a cost, you have to pay a hefty amount for each API integration, so the licensing model is rather expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
