## About Recall
Recall is a self-organizing personal AI knowledge base that saves, summarizes, organizes, and lets you chat with your content, including articles, YouTube videos, podcasts, PDFs, and personal notes, all in one place. Recall gives you answers from your own knowledge, the open web, or both, using the AI model of your choice, including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. Related ideas are automatically connected and visualized in a knowledge graph and resurface as you browse, helping you discover relationships in your knowledge you otherwise would have missed. Beyond analysis and understanding, Recall enhances long-term memory using active recall and spaced repetition quizzes, on a schedule optimized for retention. Used by over 500,000 people worldwide, including professionals at Bloomberg and Harvard, Recall is available on web, iOS, Android, Chrome, and Firefox. It combines Notion's editor, Obsidian's knowledge graph, NotebookLM's source-chat, and Perplexity's research depth, without the manual setup, source limits, or missing personal context. One product replacing many, grounded in your knowledge, with the most powerful AI models at your fingertips. Recall turns your knowledge into your edge.

## Recall Reviews
 ### 1. Recall stops the "Collector's Trap”

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo Y. | AI Powered Content Experience Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Recall?**

Recall is the first tool that stopped me from just collecting and got me actually using what I save. The part I value most is chatting with my own knowledge base. Not the whole internet, just the content I chose and vetted. It's like talking to a more organized version of myself.

**What do you dislike about Recall?**

My one wish is for the 'Active Bridge’… the ability to highlight a sentence on the web and connect it directly to an existing card in my knowledge base in real-time. Right now, Augmented Browsing is great at showing me what I've already saved, but I'd love to build the graph while I'm in the flow of reading. I know reader highlights are on the roadmap, so I'm excited to see how this evolves.

**What problems is Recall solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recall solved my "information scatter" problem. I used to feel like I was drowning in content: bookmarks, notes, and saved videos spread across too many apps. I blamed myself for being undisciplined, but Recall helped me realize it was actually a tool problem.

The biggest benefit is that it turned my knowledge base from a "digital graveyard" into a "connection engine." I've stopped just collecting information and started actually integrating it. I've recovered hours of time I used to spend re-researching things I'd already learned, because now the connections surface automatically while I browse.

It's given me real peace of mind. I'm not just building a library anymore; I'm building a legacy of my own thinking that actually compounds over time.

 ### 2. Game-Changer for Organising Notes with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Recall?**

The ability to tag articles and documents for easy searching! It has been a game changer for organising my university notes and readings. The interface is fairly easy to use considering the amount of features it encompasses, and its integration with other programs/apps is good. Onboarding was simple, and the support from the dev team is incredible - above and beyond helpful and engaging. The price is reasonable and I was able to take advantage of a student discount (which is often not available for students outside the UK/US, so that is a big plus!). The search and chat functions work reliably, and the AI summaries are decent for academic articles.

**What do you dislike about Recall?**

I don't really use the "learn" function as much as I would like to due to not being able to configure the app in such a way to separate my personal documents/articles/links from my university files that I need to revise separately. I also tend to feel as though my sidebar is "cluttered" from all the tags/folders I have created, and I tend to get lost sometimes going through my cards as to where I started out. Having said those things, they're both more of a "me" problem than a Recall problem. The graph is very interesting, but again, I struggle a bit trying to use it effectively, and so I don't.

**What problems is Recall solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recall has been a miracle for me as a mature age university student with ADHD. It helps me keep all my materials in one place and lets me search my own "knowledge" bank, essentially, because I know everything I've imported or uploaded is something I've read and absorbed (at varying levels of efficacy - hence, needing help!). I don't feel like I'm starting from scratch every time I am writing and think, "I know I saw this in something else I just read recently..." and I'm able to easily find what I was reading in context. It's incredibly helpful.

 ### 3. Effortless Information Capture, High Recommendation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Recall?**

I use Recall as my external brain to collect all information I come across on the web, from podcasts, and for personal notes. I really like how easily I can capture everything I want to store and access later. The widget is a very simple tool to use for collecting information. I also love being able to chat with my notes, whether individually or as a collective, and the ability to take quizzes ensures I retain the information I've captured. The initial setup of Recall was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Recall?**

There could be some minor improvements in the area of the text editor. I would say it's more UI related and a bit more flexibility for formatting text.

**What problems is Recall solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Recall as my external brain to collect information from the web, podcasts, and personal notes. It's easy to capture and access anything I need. The simple widget lets me chat with my notes and quizzes help ensure I retain the information.

 ### 4. Easy and Convenient Information Captor

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesse R. | Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Recall?**

I find Recall insightful and relatively easy to use. It does a good job of capturing articles and text. Super useful for extracting meaningful information.

**What do you dislike about Recall?**

It would be awesome if Recall had proactive tagging that understands what the user tends to think. If it could pick up on patterns, like when I'm capturing multiple articles by the same writer or organization, and started adding those tags automatically, that would be nicer.

**What problems is Recall solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Recall convenient for capturing ideas from web pages, which helps save time on gathering information and allows me to easily collect and organize content The end, instead of as I go.
