Nothing extra in the interface. For two brands, it took me less than half an hour to purchase a shortened URL domain, set-up redirects, and create links. The pricing is fair and legitimately volume-based **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** First is pricing plans are so far away from each other. once you want to jump into paid plan you should pay a lot for some limited features. What one might consider "standard" features for this type of software, come with add-on costs to an already pricey base. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a brand owner, we could handle many links with Rebrandly and follow our audience's behavior and reaction to each link and also use retargeting features to redirect them to several destinations based on their location and language. ### 21. I also like the rebrandly chrome plugin that comes with the pack, allowing me to create a shortened url on the fly without having to go to the dashboard or login multiple times. The best this is the customisable nature of the url within the plugin itself. Even if you use scripts which needs to download files from the link, Rebrandly works like a charm because if you use a classic URL Shortening service, your scripit mostly will fail because the shortened page will show up as html instead of the direct link you normally chose as target. I tested this with Powershell and the command "Invoke-WebRequest". With Rebrandly, I can hardcode the rebranded link and still stay dynamic and thus, powershell will download my file from the desired target (e.g. dropbox). And the best thing: You can see all the statistics from the rebranded link as opposed to custom redirect links using your own IIS Server. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** The only thing I dislike is that only 5 domains are free. Even with the next paid plan you have 5 custom domains with the ability to purchase additional ones per month. While the Teams plan features are excellent, it is difficult for my companies to justify the substantial price increase for the sake of account governance. The onboarding experience and documentation to get started was confusing and absent when we started using Rebrandly, however using it at other companies now it appears they've gone above and beyond to address this. **Recommendations to others considering Rebrandly:** It's great for small teams that are comfortable with shared accounts, but if you can afford the Teams features it's worthwhile. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have a large (and growing) portfolio of brands under our company, with a central marketing team dedicated to managing all of them. Keeping these brands on-point used to mean building our own link shortener with a swath of awkward scripts and tools, and getting analytics from those links was even more complicated. Now, we use Rebrandly to manage all of our branded links as we're writing content, and their app integrations let us see our analytics in our other marketing tools faster than we could update our old scripts. ### 48. The dashboard is clear, not jargon-heavy. It provides you with tracking insights for how often links are selected. The ability to edit a link after you create is a stroke of genius. typos may occur, but it's ok, we can fix them. I also like the functionality of it considering it is a free service. I really like the fact that you may have created a link for something months ago, and it tells you it's already been created. Comes in handy when you forget that you've used that link before, in our case, sharing previous articles from our online library. At first, the links seemed to die after 30 days, but somewhere along the line that was changed, and we can re-use the links time and time again, which is ideal for us as some links just get updated, not removed. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** I've only ever used the free Rebrandly route. And for a freebie, I don't dislike it it. The only downside is LinkedIn, the links turn into LinkedIn links. Not world ending but it takes away from the Rebrandly links being used throughout our posts. I've just had another look at the Rebrandly site, **Recommendations to others considering Rebrandly:** Give it a go. You've got nothing to lose. Honestly, I had a look around at other options, Rebrandly was the only site that looked easy to use, didn't want 50 questions just to set up. Register, learn the basics, you're rolling. If you find it doesn't work for you, move on. But you should give it a try. I don't have a budget for my social media, like absolutely GBP0.00 available. Rebrandly has helped me shorten URLs (handy for twitter character limit), and also given us a way to have some form of consistency for our links, which some other URL shorteners can't offer. Upon doing this review, I've learnt about more in-depth analytics are available, which will be useful for my future plans to tailor our audience's description. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used to have ridiculously long links for some of our articles online. Rebrandly has cut that problem out. Short and sweet.
