But, as someone who raced Ferraris, I can tell you it is more than having speed … it is knowing what to do with it. RebelMouse and its content management system (CMS) combines best practices, a proactive (versus reactive) approach to the constantly changing aspects of SEO and social media platforms, and offers features and functionality that I would not have thought available to smaller companies without requiring expensive customization. (Yet will be scalable as our online presence grows.) And, they do all that with a team of people who are genuinely interested in their customers' success. They took the time to understand our business and objectives before offering creative ideas. To have a great tech stack AND a knowledgeable team of strategists, developers, and project managers is a game changer. They bring the strengths of a large publisher (large datasets, expertise, lessons learned from trial and error, close relationships with search and ad platforms) to smaller publishers. During the build and launch, the team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the new site, and they flawlessly migrated over 20,000 articles. I can't recommend them highly enough. **What do you dislike about RebelMouse?** My only negative is that I wish we'd migrated sooner. Like five years ago. But to make this not sound like a paid review, I suppose the geographically distributed workforce can make scheduling a meeting a little harder? But obviously the benefits of experts all over the world greatly outweighs the downside. (I brought that up just to meet the minimum character requirement!) **What problems is RebelMouse solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our old CMS was slow and ranked poorly on Google. RebelMouse delivered on their promises of a faster site that passed the Core Web Vitals assement, ranked higher, was easier to use on the back-end, and increased our traffic. Not to mention having a team of strategists on retainer is so much more helpful than trying to piecemeal together experts via consultations. Plus their support team is fast and knowledgeable. Finally, the retainer hours and hosting cost together is basically the same as what I would be paying for our old CMS, development team, and hosting — but I'm getting so much more. ### 4. We are nearly a year into launch of our site and that was preceded by a 4-month onboarding process that was professional, efficient, and hit all the marks. Issues do come up from time to time with the platform but the care and commitment to support getting things quickly resolved keeps our site growing and supports our mutual success. **What do you dislike about RebelMouse?** If you are considering RebelMouse as an existing publisher with a custom platform you might find the migration to RebelMouse a bit cumbersome and time-consuming - just plan accordingly. Additionally, the loss of the ability to make major code or platform edits can feel like lost control for some who are used to having the ability to make software changes but the trade-offs for having RebelMouse constantly developing and improving the platform is worth the lost sense of control.
