"The only software that has brushes that don't irritate me"
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

The natural look of the works that come out from this software increase value of my works and I have better scores at my Art University even if I lack of time and strength to make it more fine. It also gives some retro vibe. The rulers and perspective function is goat. Nano pixel export and ability to upscale resolution at export has saved me from overheating computer and losing sanity when forgot to make it 300 DPI instead of 72 DPI. What do you dislike about Rebelle?

At first it is difficult to manage watery brushes for no other painting program works like this and having wet paper at digital file can be confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rebelle 8 Pro is impressive"
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

It is astonishing how realistic Rebelle is with paint behavior. I'm just learning but I've seen work that others have produced and you only know it is digital because they tell you. Rebelle 8 pro is impressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Like painting with real paint, it can be hard to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

However, working with the tablet's pressure can be smoother to achieve more harmonious results without having to go through so many advanced tool options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best digital watercolour software I've ever used."
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

The natural behaviour of the paint and its ability to allow you to edit or undo is a game changer for the world of watercolours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Watercolour is a very natural and intuitive skill, and this is where the software has room to improve to cater for the mindsets of artistic minds. Can be over complicated and frustrating at times to achieve a simple task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The VERY BEST painting software I have EVER used!!"
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

I'm using this software almost every day. The oil and watercolor simulation left me speechless from the moment I began the trial version. I come from a traditional paint background. In the past, I've used Adobe Suite, Affinity Universe, and Clip Studio Paint. Although they're all great, NONE of them --at least for me--can compare to Rebelle in the sense of realistic paint texture, movement, and blending styles. I love, love, love this discovery...just when I thought my art couldn't get any more real.

I have to add that the pigment and nanopixel features in Pro 7 are phenomenal. Another thing I really appreciate is the workspace. It's not as "loaded" as other art software which works for me because I don't need advanced photo effects nor preferences to get my work the way I want it, so it's very easy to handle the layout. What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Thankfully, I haven't necessarily had any problems with Rebelle, and no need for customer support yet. Checking out and paying for the software was the only challenging part, but I went to the community's forum and found what I needed to fix this. I had to do nothing but restart Rebelle afterward. "Unmatched Oil Paint Simulation and Outstanding Support"

What do you like best about Rebelle?

Absolutely incredible software, i have a background in traditional media and this is the ONLY software out there that mimics anything close to oil paints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Honestly there's nothing so far that I don't like. Customer service is also excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Undisputed in digital painting."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

The best in its category. Pigment mixing, canvas texture, UI is just a few to mention. Functions you wont get in any other. This is as a close to get to painting on your computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

Pricing is no joke. (But still worth it, if you want something what actually delivers what it promises.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best digital drawing and painting experience out there!"
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

After testing Rebelle 7 for a few weeks, I can see that its designed from the ground up as a tool for artists, not photographers. I'm a traditional painter in oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolor and I'm very impressed with all of these tools. The oil brushes in particular are amazing, with a very convincing look and feel, comparable to the real thing. Even a very simple round brush is a delight to paint with. Highly recommended to any digital artist who wants to draw and paint any subject matter in any medium. Rebelle has all the features that I've been wanting in Photoshop like screen recording, brush favorites, built in canvas textures with realistic paint interactivity, and an excellent oil brush mixing system - much easier to use and more convincing than Photoshop's equivalent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

I'd like to see a way to open multiple documents at once. Also, it would be great to make the brush size larger than the current limit. This is configured as a percentage, not a pixel size, so I don't know if this is an absolute or relative value in relation to the document size. It would also be nice to have a few more keyboard shortcuts similar to Photoshop, but perhaps I can change those in the preferences.

Keep up the great work, and there are still many features yet to explore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pigment Color Mixing Is Astonishing!"
5/5
What do you like best about Rebelle?

As a traditional oil painter, I have always been disappointed with RGB-based painting software and could never embrace digital painting because of this. The colors on my screen would never mix to create an authentic color blend equivalent to pigment paints on my palette.

Rebelle auto-magically solves that problem! And now I'm all in with this fantastic technology. I also love the software's responsiveness and no-lag performance. It's a delight to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rebelle?

I only wish I could open multiple documents in separate tabs simultaneously. Sometimes, I like to jump quickly from one project to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
