I wish there was one made for iPadOS or at least for computers with integrated graphics to make it more accessible without losing its imaging abilities and qualities. The authenticity of it. How well it mimics the real mediums. Especially love the water draining down in the watercolor brushes, the impasto of oil brushes, and my most favourite - the metallic brushes. Bought the new upgrade for the symmetry tool. I don't see any downside to it at the moment. However, a few things you can consider are creating a Discord community, which would make it easier for communication and resolving queries. Also, if there are a few more feature upgrades to the timelapse setting in the software. This would greatly help in exporting and marketing artists' work on social media. Compared to other digital painting software (Photoshop, Affinity Photo, Procreate, etc), Rebelle has the most realistic look and feel of traditional tools. The watercolor spreads, the oil paint is layered, and I can replicate the dusty textures of charcoal or calk with little effort. The parameters of these features can be adjusted to fit personal style.

With its realistically textured canvases/papers and customizable brush effects paired with a graphics tablet, it feels great to work with.

The exporting features are also good for when it's time to prepare a file for print. It even has a feature, NanoPixelExport, that allows for scaling up without ruining the quality or delicious textures that you've worked hard to create.

The selection tools could use a little more love. I find myself making some final touches in Affinity Photo, for example, just because it's better at selecting specific ranges or areas. Rebelle isn't primarily a photo editing program, though, and it's not fair to expect it to have the same tools as one.

It's the pick up and play nature. Unlike other, similar, software you just pick your canvas, pick the tool, brush and let rip. It's my go to software when I want to relax and just create without the software getting in the way. As of typing a new fashion project is getting underway and this is my daily driver when it comes to putting together the initial sketches and some of the more refined designs and colour sets.

The range of natural media is great and with the Pro version being able to mix colours as you would on a physical palette only goes to enhance the experience.

Easy to install and run, activation is reliable, I haven't had any issues and I've been using it since the 0.75 beta version, bought solely on the strength of the Watercolour engine which has only gotten better.

I haven't had to contact Customer support in my own personal use, however we implemented version 3 at work as a network version and the customer support was great.

As it supports .psd files loading in files from Photoshop (and visa versa) means cross software use is about as good as you'd want. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The brush system can be a wee bit awkward to use ( without a bit of fiddling in the Brush set up menu as the pressure sensitivity can be a bit sensitive. I nearly always have to tweak this in my Wacom tablet properties interface when swapping between Photoshop, Painter and Rebelle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rebelle is amazing. The simulation, the detail, the natural feeling of putting pigment on the canvas. I didn't do art for a long time and Rebelle has got me excited to draw and to paint again.

The UI is intuitive and everything is extremely customizable. The brushes are superb. The colour mixing is the best on the market.

And if you don't want any of the simulation features, you can turn off or pause any you don't want to use and have an extremely responsive application for typical digital art.

If you're interested in digital art in any way, Rebelle is a must try. It's the most innovative art application in the space, and it's showing no signs of slowing down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's really hard to find anything to dislike about Rebelle. Maybe that there isn't a portable version of it yet for phones or Android tablets, but that would be a tall order for some of the processing power required for its simulation features. Besides that I think the only criticisms that can be said of Rebelle are nitpicks.

I just bought Rebelle 8 pro version (upgrading from Rebelle 7 Pro) and the new features are a delight to use! Overall optimization really impacted drawing and fluidity of the work. Right now, the only thing I dislike is the look of the interface. I just feel we could get a little love from developers with a more intentional and easy interface, but it's definitely a personal preference, however.
