What do you like best about RealVNC?

The ease of managment of client machines. You can eaisly group the machines in the control software and provide certain people access to only a certain group of machines. There is alos a nice challenge and reponse system to help the client be more confidant in that the person tehy are speacking to is the one about to take over thier system. What do you dislike about RealVNC?

What do you like best about RealVNC?

VNC Connect is a remote solution at the corporate level based on the cloud that is responsible for interconnecting through multiple computers remotely to communicate or video conference with great ease because VNC Connect has system administrators, IT experts, integrated engineers, loT, integrated service providers, with high capacity for response in your remote system, is extremely useful because it is composed and directed to many types of organizations in various countries and that this system comes with different languages such as English, French, German, Portuguese and Spanish. What do you dislike about RealVNC?

One of the main things that plays against VNC Connect is that to have total access in a progressive way is to have a highly fast internet since without that the remote system tends to be a little tedious the handling of the documentation, also that it lacks a share or transference of files in a simple way as it is drag and drop between the application and the desktop complicating a little the exchange of important documentation, another thing is that the between the viewer and the server are in a separate way making the handling of it confusing. Of the main recommendations that our company could object to VNC Connect is to improve its ability to transfer files remotely without so many encrypted systems and a simplicity of loading via the Internet without having to resort to a higher speed, otherwise provide an excellent service solution remotely maintaining communication and working without having to attend the office to the entire team. What do you like best about RealVNC?

VNC support staff is top-notch. They are quick to reply and take the time needed to assist you. As a trial user I had a dedicated support staff member. What problems is RealVNC solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our business is located in Louisiana, so when the COVID-19 virus hit New Orleans, I knew I needed a remote desktop solution for my business. After trying a few alternatives I chose VNC. Having a trial period and low yearly cost made the decision easy. Setup was simple and within one day we were logging in remotely from home. What do you like best about RealVNC?

Real VNC works period, especially with legacy machines... which the more modern softwares like AnyDesk or Teamviewer do not! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealVNC?

VNC has been around and has not to my knowledge been implemented in the capacity Teamviewer or AnyDesk has. Whereas the other two have much nicer interfaces and work out of the box with any “modern” computer VNC requires a bit of legwork to get up and running and employees who aren’t technically savvy with have difficulty using it right away or require assistance with setup. Recommendations to others considering RealVNC:

While VNC Connect (RealVNC) is great for connections to legacy computers running older operating systems or specialized OS’, it’s not for the average user and not super friendly in consideration to employees who aren’t technically savvy. For instance, asking someone with no knowledge of IP addresses or what operating system they are running to set up and use this software to work from home is just not going to work... as a matter of fact if they didn’t set up VNC on their host and client computer to start it’s already too late. Something like Teamviewer or AnyDesk requires no IT knowledge and is plug and play with modern computers with polished user interfaces that are easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The absolute easiest way to work from home with access to everything you need!"

What do you like best about RealVNC?

"Why I love RealVNC"

What do you like best about RealVNC?

I love the ease of use. I found it super simple setup remote access to my RaspberryPi from both my PC and my Mac. Like less than 10 minutes simple. The hardest part of the experience was remembering my password. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RealVNC?

What problems is RealVNC solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a Raspberry Pi attached to a TV in our lobby that drives our Digital Schedule/Signage for the building. This is done through the browser.
