ReadyTech allows us to save money by removing the need for travel and lodging expenses. In addition, we are able to provide virtual training that supports one-on-one coaching for each individual student as needed. I really appreciate that you can take over a session, demo for all, and still review and ensure that each student is where they need to be and able to accomplish the tasks set before them. We are also excited about the new self-paced functionality. There are different ways to introduce customers to your product or to changes in your product, having the self-paced functionality as an opportunity has us brainstorming new and different ways to engage with our customer base.
2023 Update
ReadyTech stands out as a highly efficient solution for virtual software training. It is a robust and comprehensive platform that facilitates virtual training of our end users in our various software applications. And ReadyTech offers the necessary features that cater specifically to the needs of both trainers and trainees which has been a seamless and effective learning experience for our customers.
Since it's been a few years of using the product, I can call out the following:
1. Interactive Virtual Environment: ReadyTech provides an interactive virtual environment where trainers can easily demonstrate software features in real-time. This feature enables trainees to follow along, ask questions, and actively engage with the training material.
2. Screen Sharing and Remote Control: The platform allows seamless screen sharing and remote control, enabling trainers to guide users through the software, troubleshoot issues, and provide hands-on assistance, replicating an in-person training experience.
3. Collaboration Tools: ReadyTech offers a range of collaboration tools such as chat, polls, quizzes, and breakout rooms, fostering an interactive learning environment. These features encourage engagement, participation, and knowledge retention among trainees.
4. Recording and Playback: One of the standout features is the ability to record training sessions. Trainees can revisit these sessions later for reinforcement, and trainers can evaluate and improve their teaching methods.
These are just a few of the reasons I really really like this product.
ReadyTech can be complicated when you first learn to use the application. It can also be challenging to re-brand the look and feel, but the support team is phenomenal and anything that I have been unable to accomplish on my own, they were there to help and address my issues in a timely fashion with workarounds and/or fixes that worked.
Support continues to exceed our expectations. We very much appreciate that we not only have immediate access when teaching a class, but we can also reach out to our account manager who is quick to research our questions, get answers for us, and schedule demo/support sessions when needed.
2023 Update
This year the rebranding was a super smooth process thanks to Ronald Steed so I can honestly say that other than getting our customers up and running with something new (they can be a wee bit uncomforable at the beginning), I can't say I have any dislikes.
The pandemic has resulted in a severe decline in travel and ReadyTech has been our go-to such that we have been able to keep going during this challenging time and we have been able to continue to educate or our customer base on all areas of our applications because they have the hands-on ability provided by ReadyTech labs and now the self-paced training option.
