**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

1) The ability to see learners' screens is the KEY feature of ReadyTech that sold us on the product, and is utilized in every classroom 2) Instructors enjoy the interactions with learners via audio/video 3) Setup process for classes is smooth and intuitive, once a template has been created 4) Support staff is helpful, available and knowledgeable

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Technical issue have occurred with audio and video, along with connectivity through AWS on occasion, which can cause frustration. We have appreciated the swift and helpful responses from RT Support.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using RT our learners had to be physically present in our building. This came with significant financial and time costs to both our organization and theirs (in fact, our classes operated at a loss to us). Attempting to teach software skills without the ability to directly "reach through" the computer to assist learners was frustrating to everyone. RT completely solved both of these problems!

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

The platform mostly just works and supports me well as a trainer. It offers useful tools and feels very neat overall. For most of my customers, it also runs without any problems, and if anything does come up, ReadyTech’s support team is friendly and helpful.

The user interface includes a virtual classroom with features such as a schedule and a chat facility. In the schedule, you can plan demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and even breaks, which makes it easy to structure a session.

I use ReadyTech to deliver training all across the globe, and it consistently performs well.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The camera feature doesn’t let you add a background or even apply a simple background blur. Also, the microphone doesn’t suppress background noise or other voices, which can be a problem when an attendee is joining from a shared workspace.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReadyTech lets me deliver training to people around the globe without running into technical issues. Since nothing needs to be installed, it removes a common barrier for many of my attendees.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

Easy to use, was quick to get going after the shut down of webex. Price was cheaper as well, the pay as you go structure is working well for us. The support team answer any issues i have quickly, and they have enacted a few of my suggestions.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Occasionally the website won't connect or the audio drops out. It would be nice to be a little more robust.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They solved the issues that webex shut down its training center, this was a major part of our buisness

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

What I like most about ReadyTech are the different options to interact with the class. There are polls, breakout rooms, group discussions, and a lot of creative ways that you can structure your class. The program is also very useful. Additionally, the support team is very responsive and will find an answer for you, even if it takes longer than you would prefer.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

ReadyTech is still relatively new, so there are definitely some growing pains. It's a lot of work to set up because of all of the PDFs that you have to create. You have to be prepared to do a lot of manual work in the beginning.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReadyTech makes it easy and convenient to teach a class that requires a sandbox environment.

The flexibility of the software, well organized and the speed and quality of connecting to the virtual labs. The services vs price is remarkable ! and the support team is always ready to listen to the feedback and enhance :)

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The only comment is the labs assignments. it assumes that the instructor should be assigned to a virtual machine but there is an option to disable the lab if you want to.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using it for delivering Virtual Technical trainings that requires both presentation, video conferencing and hands-on lab experience. It allowed many students around the world to attend my training with 0 cost and high efficiency!

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

I use ReadyTech for virtual training and product demos for presale activities. I like how it allows me to connect virtually anytime and lets customers experience our product hands-on at their convenience. I appreciate the ease of using ReadyTech and that it provides everything needed inside one single platform. It works most of the time and has a good uptime, ensuring reliable connectivity throughout the session. The initial setup of ReadyTech was very simple and quick.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

I think there are feature improvements required from the Instructor & Event Manager perspective, like having the option to start recording even if the event has already started. It would also be helpful to inform or alert users in case their network is weak or not appropriate for Labs/classes.

ReadyTech solves the problem of connecting virtually anytime, allowing customers to experience our product firsthand. It's easy to use and provides everything needed in one platform.

I find ReadyTech to be an incredibly valuable tool for our online training platform, particularly for delivering training in cybersecurity and industrial software. **What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

I use ReadyTech integration with our Learning Management System. It works excellent most of the time, the integration is smooth from my perspective although I am not the person that has direct outlook on it.  We use RT for virtual rooms and the and lab envirnoment hosting and what I like most that customers are able to connect smoothly to both 99% of the time, no grand pre-requisites required.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

There are some outages from time to time.

It is hosting both the lab environment for our instructor-led trainings and the virtual room in one place which is quite handy.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

1) Excellent 24x7 support. My team operates a global training organization and have had occasion to contact ReadyTech 24x7. We always get the same professional support whenever we call.
2) Flexitility.  ReadyTech allows us to scale instructor-led class sizes from 1-dozens of students.We are able to schedule classes and have lab environments ready for us at the start of class, however if there are no-show students, we can release unused lab environments.
3) Performance. Our students are located world-wide. Self-paced class lab environments launch from data centers based on the location of the student. This allows them to get optimal performance.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Cloning (copying images) and deployment of images takes a bit of time.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We offer over 15 instructor-led and self-paced courses, each with extensive hands-on lab environments. Without ReadyTech we would have to maintain 30-50 servers (hardware, power, rack space, cooling), schedule deployment of over 15 images (on an as-needed basis),  and manage scheduling of hundreds of students per month. With ReadyTech, we schedule instructor-led training sessions in a few minutes. There is no management for self-paced classes--students request their own labs.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

The Axis tool is very thorough with great features including showing your screen from the secure window with others (no more need to get files onto their host computer). Their technical support is among the best I have ever experienced. Their interface is (Class Manager) is a great way of keeping an eye out to help students and see their 'virtual expressions' when body language (in person) is not available.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

There is little to dislike. We have had issues with customers getting into ReadyTech but that is almost always on the customer and their firewalls or other security protocols (whether the customer is aware or not). The ReadyTech support team is very quick to help and troubleshoot issues as they are a chat away.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am teaching students from all over the world and can see their screens and assist them 1:1 and even share student experiences with others. I can log into students' workstations with very in-depth issues (like typos buried in code) in the evenings and share them privately or with the class. If a student makes a mistake or runs into a problem then I can even share their screen with the class while fixing the issue, helping them identify 'gotchas'. Great stuff.

Ease of use. It's very quick and easy to set a class up for the week.

The reliability of the services isn't perfect, so if this could be improved it would be greatly appreciated.

We need lab environments. Being able to quickly and easily spin up a set of images for x students is SO much faster, and simpler using ReadyTech's platform.
ReadyTech also provide a platform for presenting our training materials to students, seamlessly integrating the experience with the lab platform. It takes all the time and stress out of setting up a class.

The remote view of all seats is an extremely valuable feature for managing remote courses. It allows our trainers to easily monitor participants' progress and provide timely assistance when needed, creating a more interactive and supportive learning environment. Our customers and trainers greatly appreciate the enhanced oversight and seamless communication this feature enables

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The RT tools are installed during the VM initialization process and cannot be managed manually afterward. This limitation poses a challenge for me during troubleshooting or when copying VMs, as it restricts flexibility in handling potential issues or making necessary adjustments

Readytech offers a lot of useful features, I suggest a complete demo of them

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

While I'm impressed to see how much investment Readytech puts back into their product releasing new features and tools that make meeting the learning needs of my customers easier, I have to say the best thing about RT is their approach to Customer Success.  They go out of their way to help, offer solutions and ensure you have what you need.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

My company is global with market specific cost/pricing.  Would be nice to see a similar approach at RT.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use RT to support our lab environments for both ILT and Self-Paced customer training.  This approach to delivering labs has not only reduced the initial set up time for my Instructors but its also made it much easier for my customers to gain access to the training from any location, including home offices.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

Having used ReadyTech across two different companies—both on Axis and the hosted version—I’ve found the platform to be intuitive, user-friendly, and generally very reliable. One of the biggest strengths is the quality of their support team. Any time an issue arises, they’re quick to respond and incredibly helpful. A special shout out to our new account manager, who’s been consistently responsive, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile—no question is ever too much trouble.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

There are occasional technical hiccups, particularly with audio/video connectivity and screen sharing lag. However, the silver lining is that their support team is always willing to jump on a call and help resolve any issues quickly.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReadyTech gives us an all-in-one platform for instructor-led training, with both the classroom and lab in one place. It also lets us offer self-paced labs, so users can learn at their own speed.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

It is easy to access by students participating in the training. Better than other softwares used whre IT was always required and often users had issues throughout the class.
Simple to use by instructur. User friendly instructor interface, fast to change between users' screens and share files and information with participants.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Full screen is sometimes finicky, exiting when using certain comands in the software used for training. When instrucor takes over student user's screen, user cannot see mouse pointer to understand where instructor is pointing. Sometimes it works in Share Control, but not always.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with students/users login where otherwise IT security would be a problem. 
It makes it simple to navigate by instructor and see what students are doing and help them understand what they can do better.

nothing really, they always responded right away after opening a ticket with a good resolution
Well, at times the environment is a bit slow but those problems seems to be gone by now

sometimes the lab kits do not set up properly

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

We provide product training to our customers, but this varies greatly in terms of planning and customer needs.

Previously we worked with 'our own' hardware and virtual machines, but this was not ideal in terms of maintenance and availability.

We then learned about the possibilities of ReadyTech and this was a reason for us to start working with it. How would this fit within our training facilities?

We really liked this. ReadyTech gives you the options to scale up per training, entirely depending on the wishes of our customers.

Furthermore, ReadyTech offers simple options to upgrade and manage our training courses.

We once had to call on ReadyTech support because we were unable to start a training instance.
Support responded immediately and was able to resolve the issue within 10 minutes. Very impressive .....

ReadyTech is an ideal solution in our training facility, scalable, reliable and ease of managing.

We are very happy with using ReadyTech!

We have been working with ReadyTech for a long time and are very satisfied with the product, support and ease of use.
In the past we experienced quit often problems when hosting and maintaining our own training instances onpremis.
Since we use ReadyTech, it made this more easy and flexible......

ReadyTech solves the problem for us regarding the availability of training instances.

We now have the ability to easily scale based on training needs. We can make training available in a very simple way.

Our customers can use our software products, work with them easily and after completing the training we can make the environment available for a while.
We are no able to support trainingen on- and off premises, making it very easy for us based on demand.

Afterwards we can easily create new training environments.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

We use ready tech to teach our students how to use an electronic health record. It is extremely helpful to be able to see their screens in the lab and actually assist them. You can even take control of their screen to show them different things or help them when they are stuck. I like the ability to upload documents and teaching materials ahead of time. I also really appreciate the ability to pop-out section of the screen so I can view multiple areas at once. I have never had a person lose connection, like you might see with Adobe Connect, Teams, or Zoom. Their support team is very responsive and able to help immediately if we have any issues. I personally have never needed them, but my colleagues tell me they are very pleased with customer support.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

No downsides to ReadyTech that I have experienced so far.

We had difficulty teaching virtual classes. Our students would describe what they were seeing, but we couldn't see their screen through Adobe Connect. Ready Tech has completely solved our training problems.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

It's an all-in-one solution for technical training. It provides a platform for presentations and access to a virtual lab for students to practice.  Out of the box, it gives the company a platform to provide training without a lot of help with IT.  Their support team is usually quick to respond within a couple of minutes.  Knowing someone can help during a live training session is nice.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

Most of the time, all the moving parts work, but this technology has a lot of back-end moving parts.  Sometimes users will lose audio or access to the virtual lab.  This could be due to the user's internet because it's not fast enough.  It could also be something on the ReadyTech server.   I find that I did have to reach out to the support often.  Sometimes, they have to rebuild the credentials in order for users to access it even though the users were fine before.  Issues with the Classroom can be challenging because your screen might not be displaying or your mic will stop working.

Although it is nice that it's an all in one solution, it's not perfect.  These little disruptions can cause the training to go unplanned.  You should always have a backup plan if things don't work in the classroom.   From my experience, the classroom feature does not work as well as presenting in Zoom, Teams, or Webex.  I find that these other platforms are more reliable with both presenting and audio. They also provide more features to interact.

Currently, there are none because we came up with a more reliable solution. I can honestly say our students' experience has improved since leaving ReadyTech.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

ReadyTech provides tools for managing virtual images and curriculum through a web  interface.  It was quick to train my instructors to deliver our materials.  We were able to convert our training classes from traditional in-person to virtual within 2 weeks.  Customers have been able to access the environment even given their strict IT policies.  The technical support team at ReadyTech has always been quick to answer questions.   The ReadyTech team schedules a time to setup your virtual environment, then takes a snapshot.  Updating or changing the image is relatively simple.  The web-interface has a ton of options (but can be daunting at first) to create class-templates, events and email templates.   You can create lots of instructors and manage partners to deliver your classes.  The sales and support teams is quick to respond to questions and honest about the capabilities of the tool.

3 Year Update: We have expanded our use of ReadyTech Virtual Training.  What we thought was just a COVID temporary solution has become a core component of our training offerings.  ReadyTech has continued to update their technology, and the students that use the tool have all had positive comments.  We are able to scale our classes easily.  We continue to host multple classes each month.  Whenever we have a technical support issue, we can immediately (I mean with 2-3 minutes) have a live agent available on chat to solve the problem.  There hasn't been an issue that they couldn't fix for us.  Can't say enough about their technical support staff, they are great and always quick to help.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

The event management interface is a little clunky, but once you get past the quirks, it is powerful.  The cost is a tad higher than other solutions.  The virtual classroom feature (still in beta) does have some stability issues around the audio and webcam.  I would recommend using another platform for the audio and web-conference.   The management tools for creating email templates is not ideal and formatting the HTML emails is not trivial.  The learning curve for the management interface does make the simple tasks daunting, but can be done with training.

**Recommendations to others considering ReadyTech:**

Evaluate all the alternatives.  ReadyTech is powerful, but has a learning curve to the management side.  Strigo has a much easier management interface, but less features.  Look at the total cost of delivering the classes, and understand the management side to make sure it is a fit for your team.  Practice delivering 1-2 classes to a known group to make sure you are familiar with what can go wrong.   Don't be afraid to ask questions, even during a live event.  The more comfortable you are with the virtual environment, the smoother the training will go.

We had to transform our in-person training solutions to a virtual solution.  We were able to do this quickly, and our customers were able to still attend out trainings.  Creating a solution that we can market in this new remote environment is huge.  We were able to expand our training portfolio and will be able to deliver additional trainings.

The training environment provided to all students and the trainer allows demonstrating the all aspects of the training and practising for students later on. If problems occur, the support is quickly available and reliable.
A lot of trainings were cancelled this year, so my last experience is from almost nine months ago

The new full blown training environment including web access is not handy and not flexible enough. Painpoint here is (was?) the poor quality of noise reduction: The quiet noise of the laptop fan - barely audible - disturbed the sound so much that students complained

Easy interface to create virtual labs dynamically.  Labs are easy to create , update & deploy.  Environment is stable and performs well despite us running a scaled down (for training) environment. 

Supports multiple OSs, and tech support is friendly and responds quickly.

Do not store critical information, back end system is shared with other clients and is not secured.  No VLANS, other clients in theory could affect performance of your labs.

The nature of our business is to educate and train people on a specific software.  Fifteen years ago we would travel to our client's offices and host training sessions live, today, we use ReadyTech to host our software and train our users virtually.  Much more efficient and cost effective !

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

It does everything I need it to. The ability to have VMs that a client can use with only a web browser is incredible. The tools available to monitor student machines, transfer files, etc. are all great. 

By far my favorite thing about ReadyTech is the support. I often need help quickly, and the chat function always gets me a real person (NOT A BOT!), and they are almost always able to fix issues very quickly.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

There are UX painpoints that could be resolved. One example is how when you download a CSV of one event's participants, it's not in the exact format needed to re-use that CSV to map the next event's users (if an event has the same attendees). I'd like to see some kind of "transfer group to new event" option that reduces the manual setup. There are a handful of other issues like this - but on the whole they're minor.

The need to have everything in one place. The meeting, the screen sharing, the VMs. My organization does Teams meetings, so we only use the VMs.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

Everyone on the tech support staff is proficient, professional, friendly, responsive and will always explain the situation and all possible options.  Over the last year and a half I have contacted support through chat and email on a regular basis and have never encoutered a bad expoerience and the quick response time makes my job as an instructor and content creator much easier.  Although I am sure if I lsted all of the technicians with whom I have had great interactions I would probably forget some.  The list of techs with whom I have had a bad experience is empty.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

I am aware of data center technnologies where users access in mass over the Internet so my expectations are properly and the RT environment seldomly operates in the unacceptable range.  The only thinng that doesn't work well for me on a semi-regular basis is accessing the lab desktop after a hard reboot.  It seems that after the lab comes back up I am unable to connect to the desktop getting error 4004 even after wating an extended time.  Luckily, the issue is resolved quickly by opening a chat with tech support from the lab.   Because of the quick response it is not service impacting, but I would be interested to know if there was something I could do from the  user side to prevent involving tech support after a hard reboot.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Timely consistant groups of labs always ready when class starts.  The ability to delete lab codes when students do not show up for class.  Easy process to update and capture new images.  ABility to quickly create events on a weekly basis.  Sandbox environments for develpment.

That you can see the learners screens to see if they are keeping up or falling behind.  Also love that you can share the screen with all learners to demo an issue they are having and we can all learn from the troubleshooting.

Sometimes there are connectivity issues.

**What do you like best about ReadyTech?**

ReadyTech is a great tool for remote learning with an instructor.  It allows for a lab session to be used as well as a 'classroom'  demo screen.  The students have the ability to choose reactions to the lessons, send public or private chats, and even share screens.

**What do you dislike about ReadyTech?**

I really wish ReadyTech had an onscreen pen markup section that allowed the 'drawing' to remain on the screen while clicking with the mouse.

**What problems is ReadyTech solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ReadyTech solves the problem of having multiple users both view an instructor while having access to a lab simultaneously.
