"One code for 2 platforms"
What do you like best about React Native?

You don't need separate teams for IOS App Development and Android Development.

A single team of React Native can develop applications for both platforms.

It has beautiful inbuild, precoded animations.

Code is easy to maintain and manage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about React Native?

Setting up React Native is hard, it might take too much time of you to set up React Native development environment.

Too many unstable dependencies for React Native, which become obsolete after npm upgrades and then the code starts malfunctioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"React Native with Django"
What do you like best about React Native?

The DRF(Django REST Framework) does all the hard stuff, once the RN app is ready the integration with the Django backend is piece of cake. Moreover, the dev experience in RN is too good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about React Native?

The debugging in react-native feels impossible sometimes, as Facebook had never been so much concerned about the part. Memory management could have been better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A No Brainer"
What do you like best about React Native?

The developer experience has improved drastically since I started developing with React Native in 2017. The debugger, environment management, and community-driven deployment tooling have all really taken off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about React Native?

With growth comes complexity. Updating React Native can be a bit of a hassle, more-so because of the large list of dependencies -- many of which are core to the app -- that also need to be updated to support the latest version of React Native. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Try this out if you are a native developer for mobile apps"
What do you like best about React Native?

When Facebook launched the native flavour of react I was really wondering what they have bought but surprisingly react native tag line itself says Learn once Write anywhere and that's true. With this one technology any react developer can develop android, iOS, windows, and Mac applications in one code with one code base and that's the best part. As it uses the native library so, developing native apps using react has become soo simple by its wonderful organised documentation. Also it has god wonderful react native community to discuss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about React Native?

As it works with javascript and typescript along with JSX its responsiveness is not that great compared to other native technologies. This should support lot of other custom Ui components to integrate with react native. When it comes to debugging it is not great for a developer to debug it. What do you like best about React Native?

Easy to work with, great documentation, good support and the ability to unify with our customer database and automated marketing platform is essential for a startup like us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about React Native?

Performance can be tricky and some of the controls require custom work. That said, we find it meets most of our needs and have been happy with our selection to use this technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At times when switching from a lower version to the latest version of react native, you have to be careful so that the business does not hamper or outdated any feature present in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
