Sometimes there are weird platform dependent errors that make you lose time. **Recommendations to others considering React Native:** Be prepared to spend a lot of time building, packaging for multiple platforms. **What problems is React Native solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're building mobile applications using React Native. ### 2. Also it is helpful because react devs can work on web and mobile platforms also. **What do you dislike about React Native?** I had painful experience with android studio, gradle when making react native projects **What problems is React Native solving and how is that benefiting you?** Like i said it is cross platform, shame it isn't fully possible to share components between web and mobile projects ### 3. Very frequent updates, hence you have to keep up. I didn't receive much support from the community, but somehow the app started working properly. Performance is not up to mark as compared to native apps, but that is to be expected. **Recommendations to others considering React Native:** React Native is most apt for apps that communicate a lot with the cloud, rather than apps that perform a lot of operations in the app itself. Also, go for RN if you want to have an app developed in both iOS and Android. **What problems is React Native solving and how is that benefiting you?** Using react native, I'm able to develop and release new versions much faster compared to native app development.
