"Best SEO Tool for Our Clients"
5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

Raven Tools just keeps getting better. We evaluated all the major ones, and we kept coming back to Raven Tools. It offers pretty easy integration with Google and social media, has a good (but improving) report generator, and it allows us to automate reports to our clients, which saves us a lot of time. We also like being able to Private Label the tool and allow access to our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

The report generator has been a bit painful in the past, but they're updated it recently. We're anxious to give it a whirl. The Knowledge Base needs updating, too. One thing we've asked them to work on is a good workflow document to help someone set up a new account; something linear (Step 1, Step 2, etc.) to build a complete campaign. Even a campaign "score" would be nice, based on how completely a campaign has been set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for agencies"
5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

This is one of the best tools we've found for handling client reporting and gathering useful SEO, SEM and SMM information all in the one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

There are still some features that use US-based research tools which makes some of the keyword data a little less relevant to us Australians, but the rest of the tools are excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Success!"
4/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

I love the ability to schedule reports for my clients. It's incredible! After I have finished fine tuning exactly who I want to receive it, and the frequency of those messages, I can sit back and watch the magic. It is fairly well made in terms of those who will use it for the first time.

It is clean, fast, and performs how I need it to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

Oh, I have a hard time with the learning curve. If there are other features in the product and I don't know about them, there's no way to figure it out just by poking around. I guess that I use scheduled reports so often I am not using a lot. I just enjoy that I can leave something for a month...come back and know exactly what to do with a little tinkering. The other thing that I struggle with is there are no notifications, now there may be some setting that I am not aware of that allows that. But I don't want to receive a huge list of emails for each report sent. I would love to have one email, with a list of everyone's report that was delivered. Helps to know the names as well, in case I forgot someone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Digital Marketing Managing and Reporting Web Based Software - Great for in-house as well as agencies"
4/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

Raven's client reporting is the main reason why I use the tool at all, although bringing a bunch of useful research tools under one platform is very cool. The strength of Raven is in its reporting abilities and ease of sharing and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

Since reporting is what I believe to be the tool's strength, it could have better white labeling throughout the dashboard. Downloading on-demand reports with a company logo other than Raven's would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reporting is a Breeze with Raven"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

We originally took on Raven to improve our month-end reporting for our clients. As our SEO base grew, manually compiling reports out of spreadsheets became far too time consuming. Summit Web Solutions now has a large SEO client base and we will manage to do the SEO reporting in a single day for one staff member.

Reports are customisable and, importantly for us, allow us scope to add our own observations on the month past and recommendations for the future. Our ongoing activities are not defined by the tools we use as we have to employ a lot of professional judgement and experience, but would highly recommend Raven for professional and efficient reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

As with all tools, I would say you must use your brain - stats give you part of the story, but not the complete thing. There's little I actually dislike about Raven - if anything they keep developing the product without increasing fees, which is a great accomplishment. But see any SEO tool as part of your armoury and not the be-all-and-end-all. SEO is too judgemental an activity for that :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Raven Tools Has You Covered"
5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

I liked Raven Tools' customer service the best. Out of any tool vendor I've ever encountered, Raven still remains among the top of the heap in terms of customer service, communication, tutorial videos, and social outreach as a helpful internet marketing tool brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

Over time as I moved from implementation positions like SEO Manager and Director of Search Marketing, and more toward strategic positions within the Inflow agency, I began to outgrow the features offered by Raven Tools personally. We still hold an agency account, however, and several very smart members of the team still swear by it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Raven - All in One affordable SEO Platform "
2.5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

Raven is great as a SEO platform with all inclusive tools that will allow to optimize large campaigns including tracking large number of keywords, building backlinks, and optimize content. Raven give you a plan with the site auditor and allows you to measure your results accurately. As far as Paid Search, the bidding rules are not effective and leave you cleaning the mess later. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

Raven does not allow for API integration with many of the outside vendors outside Google products. Raven is not a solution for local or international SEO as it does not provide geotargeting rankings. PPC campaign management bid rules are not flexible to optimize across large campaigns and thousands of keywords. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So Far So Good- Great Tool With All The Right Stuff"
5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

I like the fact Raven includes all the crucial information and tools so I can make the best informed decisions for my clients. It makes my job a lot easier by having everything in one place, and inter-connected.

Raven has probably some of the best reporting software available. I am super excited that they recently updated it, so it's even better now. By far the best that I have seen so far.

The other 2 tools/features that I like is the backlink reporting and tracking. It makes it super easy for me to find out what my "competitors" (I like to think we are all friends helping each other) are doing, and what would be the best link opportunities for myself and clients.

The other one is the site auditor. I have used other software that is almost just as good. But again, when it comes down to the details, and then putting it into a easy to understand report for my clients, Raven Tools is second to none.

Overall, I think it is because of the reporting, and how everything is inter-connected that makes me stay with Raven Tools Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

What I dislike about Raven Tools is the rank tracking. They use Google Webmaster Tools to supply this information. So it is accurate. However it isn't as clear and nice as other tracking software. This is understandable since Google does have requirements for those that want to use Google's Adwords API. You can look into this for more information. So it is understandable why they dropped the old ranking tool, it still is unfortunate, and is the only thing that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Tool for quick reporting "
3.5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

This is a tool that allows someone to quickly report on the success of digital marketing campaigns. It is good for pulling the data. It also does a good job of centralizing multiple tools into one reporting and management suite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

It doesn't help to tell the story of your digital marketing campaigns which, albeit is the job of the marketer but since you can pull so much data easily you can quickly miss the point of why you're reporting stats in the first place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Provides Data our Clients can USE"
5/5
What do you like best about Raven Tools?

We want to have the best research & reporting tools to do our job - we LOVE that we can pass on real, actionable data to our clients that help them better see how we are achieving their objectives AND, and this is important... why they are not so we can correct and optimize.

Raven Tools provide information that marketing professionals can use to make better decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raven Tools?

The thing that I didn't like about Raven Tools was the interface but they addressed that with the last update - very easy and time saving UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
