I like that RatedPower can be quite quick to do multiple iterations of the design and provide comparisons in terms of different pitch and different panels. It's able to provide that fairly quickly with little learning curve. I also find it quite efficient in the early stage design, as it helps quickly understand the capacity of the selected land area and how many panels can be fitted. Areas that require improvement include the ability to have layers and functionality in terms of uploading shape files or KMZ files. It would be helpful to isolate or mark things more clearly instead of relying solely on drawing on the tool. Furthermore, once you get into more detailed design, it lacks features to handle specific requirements like identifying where cables are or locking an inverter to the locations, along with locking in some other features of the land and clearly labeling it.
