What do you like best about Range?

I love the meetings functionality. It provides a great system for creating a recurring meeting agenda, reviewing unsolved items from previous meetings, and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Range?

The check-in tool is awesome for a daily standup, but most of the tasks I add to my check-ins mirror tasks in other project management tools. I wish Range integrated with more tools so I could add items from those tools directly into my check-ins, similar to adding meeting items in the same way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The note-taking in meetings is not useful. And the meeting functionality is somewhat cluttered when compared to other features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Range:

Highly recommended. There will be benefits that you don't expect. I just wish note-taking was better supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Range solving and how is that benefiting you?

Range makes it easy to see what coworkers are working on, this increases transparency and makes collaboration easier. Other benefits are individual task tracking and a great replacement for "water cooler" or coffee machine talk. It's helped with relationship building more than I anticipated. "Great way to plan my day"

What do you like best about Range?

I love that range integrates with tools that I'm already using like Slack, G-Drive and Google Calendar. I can easily pull existing tasks and meetings into my to do list. I can also easily add custom tasks not on my calendar, include notes to my tasks so I can remember key details, and emphasize my top priorities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Range?

Nothing too critical. I get Slack reminders to check in on Range everyday, but I find it much easier to check in through Range itself rather than posting a check-in through Slack. I do like the reminder every morning at 9 though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I asked my boss for us to start using Range because it's questions of the day, which are short questions to better get to know each other. With all of us working from home now, it's easy to go an entire day without talking to some coworkers. This is a structured way to get back some of that team-building.
