"Rambox – THE tool for communication and collaboration - The center for messaging and collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Rambox?

🔧 Support? Fast and competent.

If you have questions or problems, you get help quickly—and at a level you wish for more often. Personal, solution-oriented, simply top-notch.

💸 Fair price, even lifetime possible.

Pay once, peace of mind forever—no subscription madness. And for that, you get a real Swiss army knife for digital communication.

🧠 Profiles & resources cleverly managed.

Thanks to separately usable profiles for private, work, or side projects, everything stays nicely organized. RAM and CPU usage is generally good—but there is a limitation (see below).

🧩 Endless services.

Slack, Teams, WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook, Trello, Notion, Telegram, LinkedIn, Zoom, Discord, Proton Mail—you name it, Rambox has it. And if something is missing: Support takes care of it. Quickly.

🔄 Like Trillian in the past—just more modern.

Anyone who remembers Trillian for MSN, ICQ & Co. will feel right at home. Rambox brings exactly this principle into the 2020s—just for messaging, mail, and collaboration of all kinds.

📱 Cross-platform thinking.

Windows, macOS, Linux—no problem at all. And with the Pro version: Profiles even sync across multiple devices.

Conclusion:

Rambox is a prime example of what modern working and communication can look like today—without chaos, without tool confusion. It is well thought out, stable, flexible, and extremely pleasant to use. There is really nothing to complain about. Period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

⚠️ Performance problematic on older systems.

On older Windows devices, such as laptops or tablets with less than 16 GB of RAM, a weakness unfortunately becomes apparent: RAM usage increases significantly, especially during prolonged use. Additionally, error messages appear more frequently, indicating that certain services (e.g., WhatsApp or Gmail) are consuming too much CPU power, even though they function perfectly in a normal browser. It's a shame, but not a dealbreaker if you use modern hardware.

⚠️ However: Performance issues on older systems.

Here’s the one downside: On older Windows laptops or tablets, especially those with less than 16 GB of RAM, Rambox can be memory-hungry. Over time, CPU spikes and error messages may occur (e.g., certain apps like WhatsApp or Gmail may be flagged for high usage), even when they work fine in a regular browser. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you’re not on modern hardware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Get all your apps in one place"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Rambox?

I love to have all my common webapps in one place. Mail, notes, socials, all separated from my main browser, to keep things organized and not have tons of tabs open. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

The choice of extensions available is very limited, and you must install extensions per app. That kind of sucks.

For example I use BitWarden for all apps, so I have to install it again and again and again, once for each app, and then I need to login in BitWarden for each app, that is really inconvenient.

So, I wish for more extensions and extensions shared across apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

No more hunching over the phone typing with my thumbs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

Memory hog. But honestly, it's worth getting extra memory just to run this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the easy way to use it: it's very easy even for a beginner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

I hate the monthly/annual subscriptions in general. I would love to have a way to pay the software interely without a subscription, maybe in instalments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Greeat tool for Productivity!"
5/5
What do you like best about Rambox?

That I have all my apps gathered in 1 place and it's for free, no interactions, no bugs, it all just works! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

The default shortcuts are interfering a bit with my workflow, so I always remove them whenever I'm installing rambox. Also I have to relogin to every service, to every single computer I install rambox on, but this is understandably not a fault of Rambox developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rambox Review: All Your Apps, One Window, Zero Clutter"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rambox?

Rambox is a productivity-focused workspace that lets you manage multiple web apps (like email, messaging, and project management tools) in a single, customizable window. After using it for [insert duration], here’s what stood out—and what could use some polish.

The setup was effortless and straightforward. It requires some understanding (e.g., the profiles feature and the difference between a "suit" and a single app).

The customer support was great with everything I contacted them about: quick replies, follow-up, and friendly responses.

I haven't found any application I missed yet. I could integrate everything I work with (and wanted to incorporate). I work with Rambox daily, and always have it open. It completely reduces the clutter in my browser. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

There are some minor things I would add or change.

A larger extension's offering, especially productivity extensions (like Freedom and RescueTime), will be great.

I would fix minor UI glitches (e.g., the extensions bar won't disappear independently). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful Workspace Organizer"
5/5
What do you like best about Rambox?

. I used to juggle a dozen apps: Slack, WhatsApp, Gmail, and Notion, constantly switching tabs and getting distracted. Now, everything’s in one clean dashboard. I open Rambox in the morning, and that’s it—I stay inside that window the entire day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rambox?

One thing that still bugs me is how Rambox handles external links. When I click a link inside one of my apps, it either opens it in my default browser—taking me out of the flow—or sometimes shifts the whole Rambox window into that link, which completely throws me off. I’d love an option to open links in a mini pop-up or new tab within Rambox itself, so I can check the content and get right back to work without losing my place.
