I loved how customizable it was, having never built a sales platform for a fundraiser before. The reporting is great, and we loved being able to send out updates. I was able to update quantities and keep an eye on our sales numbers from the first minutes of our go-live all the way up to our final sales hours. We are already using it for our next event and I think we will even use it for another item sale fundraiser. While chat was not open on weekends, RallyUp responded quickly with solid answers to my questions. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** Because we could not get our 501C7 approvalin time, we could not use the platform for our raffles. Raffles the old-fashioned way will not raise as much money as RallyUp. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** RallyUp improves communication with bidders and facilitates their bidding more easily. With outbid notifications, the bids skyrocketed. At the end of the auction, there are no questions about who the winner is. The very best thing about RallyUp, however, is their outstanding customer service. I have used the chat frequently, and recently had a one-on-one consultation via Zoom with a RallyUp rep. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** We did have a software glitch on our last fundraiser. The RallyUp team (it was on their end) verified the situation and got on it right away. This was the first time anything like this had happened over seven fundraisers over three years. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a small group of volunteers trying to raise funds for a small nonprofit. We first tried RallyUp during the pandemic when we couldn't hold an event that we usually did in person. We liked it so much that we've continued using it for in-person events. The only trouble I had was putting the laps into the jog-a-thon. I didn't realize that the event had to be finalized first. However, when I reached out for help, someone was always quick to respond. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem that RallyUp is solving is the ability to keep the majority of funds raised because we don't have to pay high fees for a fundraising platform. We were also more successful overall with donations because we didn't have to rely on parents to track money owed after the fact. I had the option to ask participants to donate any payment processing cost from their ticket purchases and I had the option to pay based on a small fee + percentage per payment. At the end of the day, my organization wound up paying nothing because people just made donations and covered any they chose to cover the processing cost as well. Even if we did wind up having to pay a processing fee, it would have been taken out of the money coming in, not from money we already had. I also was very impressed with how detailed I could make my raffle. I was able to have multiple prizes per event and include pictures, varying costs, discounts/promo codes, and sell tickets in person. I know I was only supposed to say one thing, but I will also say that the customer service is very quick. It feels like a lot of organizations let their customer service be dismissive and unknowledgable, but that is not the case with RallyUp. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** If I had to choose something, I didn't like that the option to pay a small percentage fee of each raffle purchase included an additional 30 cent (around 30 cents if I'm remember correctly) charge per transaction. This meant that if someone wanted to buy one raffle ticket for a dollar, 30 cents is automatically taken out, then an extra 7% (ish). For people who buy multiple raffle tickets this is fine, but for those who buy just one or two it really lowers our net profit **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am acutely aware of how little money new nonprofits have to work with. It makes it very difficult to do all the things you want to do because, for us, everything comes out of my own pocket until the organization can make money. The problem RallyUp solves is that their service doesn't require you to put up any capital. If you make money, they make money. It's a great model and we wouldn't have been able to hold a raffle without it. ### 23. There were enough customization options for me to make our fundraising site look as I wanted it to, and it didn't take any programming knowledge to do it. **What do you dislike about RallyUp?** Initially I was unable to create a raffle, and I did not know what I was unable to create a raffle. I had to contact support to see the rules, where it could have just been easily stated somewhere what is required for each funrasing option. **What problems is RallyUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to raise money, and wanted to get the info out to as many people as possible. Following online research, several options presented themselves - all with pros and cons - but RallyUp stood out from the off due to the support and handholding offered. Information provided was relevant and appropriate at every step of the way, and support was always present without being intrusive. It really was straightforward to achieve what we wanted to - and after setting up the online raffle and making it live, it was great to be able to monitor its progress easily through the easy-to-understand "Experience" dashboard.
