Workflow is fixed in CA Agile Central & can not be customized as per your team needs, which can be easily carried out in JIRA. Example: In CA Agile Central we have states “Defined”, “In progress”, “Completed” and “Accepted” and there is no way to change those names or add new states into it.

1. Affording multiple license for a small enterprise is a bit challenging.

2. Have issues with UI while using it on Internet Explorer or Mozilla.

3. Creating test cases and reporting defects are a bit complicated, for which we normally use HP-ALM integrated with rally.

I am new to this scrum methodology and we use rally to track the effort in the team.

I have been able to track my efforts using the user stories and estimation based on the work i do on daily basis. This is very helpful and avoids micro managing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

CA Agile has clear concise view for product features we are working.

It is easy to see how the feature is coming along and see your capacity of when the feature will be complete.

I also use it daily for scrum meetings. The iteration feature lets you view each developer and what they have in progress. Easy to tell if they are not focusing and finishing their tasks.

CA Agile also has a nice feature to split user stories across sprints.

It is good tool for planning sprints. You can enter the capacity for each developer for the sprint and assign them user stories appropriately.

CA Agile is also highly configurable you can set up dashboards and reports to how you work. You can create a dashboard for blocked task to focus immediately on blocke issues.

I like CA Agile. I would say my dislike would be that sometimes when I am making a lot of changes it doesn't save quick enough and the system thinks their is a conflict with the changes.

CA Agile has a different user experience than Jira. Jira has more types of stories that you can build out for filtering and more custom reporting if you know the query language.

Not all reports can be exported from the system. I often try to tag items to track them for a release. The release reports don't have an export button. In order to share what is complete for an upcoming release, I have to copy paste into excel.
