This is definitely lagging behind competitors. There's no reason we should be prevented from automations the API can enable. We pay a lot for this tool, monthly, compared to other tools. I'd like to be able to track the original scope vs. added scope over the project's lifetime-- potentially with a change order feature that allowed us to send the client new requests, overages, or their requests for new features and the client could approve these additions to the scope and we'd be able to track the updated scope in the same project thread. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We primarily use Qwilr to present our proposals and retainers to clients. The Qwilr experience feels good both on the end-user and operator side. I compared this to other competitors THOROUGHLY and Qwilr is far ahead of the game, giving me the ability to make a wholly-online proposal process that IS NOT a glorified PDF. **What do you dislike about Qwilr?** It is a little more expensive than its competitors, but fairly so given the quality and ease of the platform. It would be great if API access was not limited to just the enterprise plan - that is REALLY expensive and not conducive for a sole trader such as myself. A few key automation are unavailable to me because of this. WHile it's easy to perceive as "first-world problems" for the price I'm paying I'd be happy to pay slightly extra for a single use API annually that allows me to take advantage of CRM integration with Salesmate. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Above anything else, Qwilr makes my sales and proposal process incredibly easy, quick, and vastly more visually appealing than my competitors. Now we use it for NDA's and other agreements, presentations, capabilities and services decks, and even for internal HR documents and training. I like the ability to use within HubSpot without leaving the HubSpot interface. The blocks are very intuitive and the block library makes building new proposal templates incredibly simple. There are tons of other things I love - including the payment integration and customization abilities. I could write a page on all the things I enjoy. **What do you dislike about Qwilr?** There are a couple of features I would like to see added to Qwilr. Number one is reporting and dashboard functionality. The main way our company uses Qwilr is through the HubSpot integration, thus through Blueprints. With the current homepage/dashboard you must click into each Blueprint template to see what or how many have been accepted. It would be helpful to be able to customize what you can see on the dashboard or at the very least see how many proposals have been accepted of a Blueprint. The second thing is more of a navigation issue. It would be nice to have a separate tab for templates for editing. Instead of going through the create new proposal button which adds several unnecessary steps. It would also be nice to be able to archive unused templates even if they can't be deleted, so they don't show up for our team and confuse people. I wish you could lock specific blocks that can only be edited by admins and leave others open for the sales team to edit. **Recommendations to others considering Qwilr:** Qwilr is a great product for any sales team that uses HubSpot. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solves the main problem of making our proposal process simple for our clients and our salespeople. It would be great if excel sheets could be added in as well as we are using QWILR for larger value bids and at present we have to send costing proposal breakdown as a separate sheet rather than within the whole document. **Recommendations to others considering Qwilr:** Its a simple system to use that produces high-quality magazine-style proposals, why wouldn't you want to use it? **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Providing high-quality proposals without having to use Indesign or another similar application. Far easier to use and makes our turnaround time much quicker for lower value proposals which frees time up for more time consuming tenders. ### 23. I love the integration to my CRM (Hubspot), because it makes it easier to manage all of the different opportunities that I work on a daily basis. The analytics make such a difference too. **What do you dislike about Qwilr?** I feel like the analytics could use a little more, and I'd love to be able to allow customers to select from options within a quote block. Really, though, it does what I need. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** It makes my proposal process so much quicker than it was before. I used to create powerpoints for every proposal I presented and it was a pain. This is both more professional and way quicker. ### 24. We use a 60-day time limit which will be helpful. -We do use negative pricing models for change orders which Qwilr does work great for, others do not allow you to do negative numbers. **What do you dislike about Qwilr?** -There is a formatting issue with the "bubble" pricing model, when you make the price over $1k the zeros go to the second line which is unusable for us. Also, if you have more than I think 4 block per row, formatting issues arise. -We have pretty long proposals with lots of info, wish we could tighten the spacing in between blocks to shorten the page. -We would love to add photos next to items in our pricing. -The font sizing and type is not super easy to use, wish it was more simple like excel/google docs to change. -We have the slack integration, it's great to get the notification when something has signed, but when we click the link, it just takes you to the general Qwilr dashboard instead of the exact proposal that was signed. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** We depend on Qwilr for all of our proposals and contracts. This system creates a quick and easy way for our sales team to send a quote. We like the integration to QuickBooks for accounting and the slack integration to alert us when something has been signed. Qwilr makes everything easy to use and to view for all of our different teams using the product. ### 25. It's visually stunning, easy to set up and systematize and our clients love the control they have in the quoting process (selecting quantities, package options, some entire sections, etc.). We do al lot of video production, so being able to include examples of our previous work when preparing pitches is great. **What do you dislike about Qwilr?** Would love to be able to save client lists, or import client data from our accounting software (like Xero) so that the integration with our accounting back-end is more seamless. Same goes for the 'saved line items' - would like to be able to access and edit them from the dashboard. Also, the way in which it sends data to Zapier doesn't enable me to generate invoices in my project management software (Avaza) - the fields aren't able to populate correctly. **What problems is Qwilr solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's so easy to quickly build and send out stunning proposals, and to empower my team to do the same. It's almost impossible to build a 'bad' proposal when using Qwilr. My sales team can literally send out our productized offerings with two clicks - nothing more needed. ### 26. With Excel, we were cutting and pasting between multiple sheets and embedding Excel snippets on word documents which are not ideal at all. We also didn't have a clean way to provide options in our quote that, when clicked on, would adjust the total price automatically. So we couldn't create upsells in our quotes.
