The web interface is modern and provides excellent analytics for monitor the health and performance of the cluster. **What do you dislike about Qumulo Core?** Lack of NFS-v4 ACLs is something on the roadmap but not yet implemented. Overall I am happy with the product. **What problems is Qumulo Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** Project storage and near-line archival are both problems solved by using Qumulo. The benefits realized including lower management costs, storage efficiencies gained from the filesystem design, and excellent support. ### 2. Using something this robust has really taken our work to the next level. **What do you dislike about Qumulo Core?** Errors that offset work and delay our production schedules. Support side has been helpful but can often confuse my team who are not IT peeps. **Recommendations to others considering Qumulo Core:** Take it for a test run and put it through its paces. **What problems is Qumulo Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** Video asset management. ### 3. In addition to SMB & NFS access, we have begun to use a wide variety of Qumulo features, including the API and replication. **What do you dislike about Qumulo Core?** Our biggest complaint was the lack of effective cross-protocol permissions. This has been fixed in the newest versions of Qumulo by XPP. **Recommendations to others considering Qumulo Core:** Know your use case well and determine if cross-protocol permissions are right for you. Our largest pain points have come from users wanting POSIX permission bits on ACL files, which did not work well until XPP. Now that XPP is out, we need extended testing to ensure that it does not cause additional pain points. **What problems is Qumulo Core solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have solved a multitude of problems using Qumulo - including replicating our very large on-premise data sets for disaster recover scenarios and using the API to accelerate file transfers. ### 5.
