I find Quizlet very helpful when making review games for my students, such as Blooket, Kahoot, and Gimkit. Quizlet allows me to create a master list of terms and definitions and quickly export them to various review games. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most helpful thing about Quizlet is that I can create my own flashcard sets and then share them with my students. That way, I know they are studying the correct information that I have given them. Also, it is a great exercise to instruct my students to create their own flashcard sets and use them to study for tests and quizzes. The thing I like the most about Quizlet is that it is best for test preparation. The app has a feature to create flashcards which is an amazing thing to build vocabulary. There is a wide variety of ways to use Quizlet. Two of my favorites are Quizlet learn and using diagrams. Quizlet Learn has students face and answer correctly, each question twice in a row in order to "Learn" the set. Quizlet has not been compliant with NYS EdLaw 2D. They have refused to respond to schools requesting that they fill out a simple form to ensure that students' data remains private. Technically, educators cannot use this tool until they fill out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is hard to choose what I like best about Quizlet. First of all, creating my own sets of vocabulary words is an incredibly helpful tool! Adding images and details to each definition truly helps my student learn the material in many different ways. There is not much to dislike here! Quizlet allows you to hear the word, see the word, read the definition, attach an image...It is a well rounded approach to studying vocabulary.
