Quizizz is a visually appealing way to assess student knowledge. Kids love it, it provides instant feedback for them and features like redemption questions give students practice on key things they missed. Online learning has been tough but quizizz makes it easier! I have real time data on each student and can even group questions to get at what concepts kids are struggling with. There have been times my kiddos were mysteriously kicked out of games suddenly.

Also, there have been times when students were finished with a game on their screen, yet on the host's screen it indicates they are not finished.

The immediate feedback from a quiz is remarkable. I can identify exactly what students know and when they know it. This allows me to intervene and give support to all of my students. Whether it is to move students on to something more challenging, reinforce ideas already taught in the classroom, or do small group intervention, Quizizz allows me instant data on virtually any and every topic I teach.

I love the editing feature of Quizizz. I can take a 10 or 20 question quiz and turn it into a 3 or 4 question exit ticket. The ability to turn off power ups and timers takes away competition and allows for students to work at their own comfortable pace. The ability to use power ups and timers fosters competition and helps motivate students to be correct and fast. You can tailor a quiz to meet the specific needs of your classroom. The best thing about Quizizz is the reports. It makes it easy for me to check who has studied and who has not as well as telling if they took it seriously. I put in numerous joke responses and if a student picks those responses frequently I am able to tell that they did not take the review seriously.
