Repair Tracking and Work Orders Log and track repair tickets from initial report through diagnosis, parts procurement, repair completion, and closure. Multi-approver workflows for configurable approval chains on significant repairs. Downtime tracking linked to each repair so the total cost of downtime — including labor and production impact — is captured alongside parts and labor costs. IoT Sensor Monitoring QuipAssist integrates with IoT sensors to monitor real-time equipment health — temperature, vibration, pressure, runtime, and other parameters — with configurable alert rules that trigger notifications when readings exceed thresholds. WebSocket streaming delivers sensor data continuously so the equipment health dashboard reflects current conditions, not a snapshot from the last polling cycle. AI Diagnostics When a technician logs a repair ticket, QuipAssist's AI analyzes the symptom description against the asset's maintenance history and known failure patterns to suggest likely causes and recommended corrective actions. This reduces diagnostic time and the frequency of return visits when the wrong root cause is addressed first. AI Inventory Forecasting QuipAssist's AI analyzes historical parts consumption patterns to forecast inventory needs — recommending reorder quantities and timing to prevent stockouts on critical parts without excessive carrying costs on slow-moving inventory. Asset Lifecycle Planning — RUL and TCO QuipAssist calculates Remaining Useful Life (RUL) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for every asset based on age, maintenance history, repair costs, and depreciation schedules. These metrics give maintenance managers and finance teams the data to make defensible repair-versus-replace decisions and build accurate capital replacement budgets. Purchase Orders Create and track purchase orders for parts and services directly in the platform — linked to the work orders and assets they support, with approval workflows, vendor confirmation tracking, and receipt documentation. Offline PWA The QuipAssist technician portal is a Progressive Web App that works offline — technicians can log repairs, update work orders, and complete checklists in areas without WiFi or cellular connectivity. Data syncs automatically when connectivity is restored. SAML SSO and Role-Based Access Enterprise customers authenticate through SAML SSO with their existing identity provider. Role-based access control with configurable roles and permissions ensures technicians, supervisors, managers, and executives see the data they need — and nothing they do not.
