"Sick of your apps crashing?"
4.5/5
What do you like best about QuincyKit?

First and foremost I love the fact this software enables you (the user) to send crash reports and that it is so user friendly. I have seen many other softwares that are just not what you would call ordinary people friendly. Second their customer service department is superb! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuincyKit?

The only think it lacks is the ability to send a personalized crash report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Sophisticated Crash Report System"
5/5
What do you like best about QuincyKit?

First and foremost I love that this product is open source and available on github. So, you can be rest assured that this product truly caters to their clients.

Secondly, the admin interface is easy to use and contains in depth incoming crash log data. Moreover, there is a script that sybolizes crashes on the database, which makes it much easier for a developer to see crashes.

Thirdly, there is automatic grouping of crash file. So, you don't have to waste time manually organizing your data!

Lastly, the program itself assigns bugfix version for every crash group and define a status for each, augmenting the efficiency of this program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuincyKit?

Unfortunately, you cannot attach custom logs. So, it's quite rigid in that standpoint. Regardless, people have raised this issue in the github repository and they are working to include it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"QuincyKit is the open source crash reporter used by HockeyApp"
4.5/5
What do you like best about QuincyKit?

Proven reliability. The QuincyKit code base is related to what is used by HockeyApp, a hosted solution for managing user crash data. Use QuincyKit if you don't want a hosted solution outside if your own development ecosystem and run your own server - you can easily manage your own crash report data. Was easy to implement on swift ios apps.

What do you dislike about QuincyKit?

The ability to send more user data and crash specifics would be handy. I'm sure new features will continue to be added as the codebase is available on github. Perhaps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very simple and simplistic yet smart. "
5/5
What do you like best about QuincyKit?

I love this app due to being able to find out why my apps crashed. The app even runs on my mac osx and my iphone 6 plus. Very nice to see incorporation of both the desk top and mobile phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuincyKit?

It doesn't necessarily give you suggestions on how to fix the crashing issue.. it allows you to contact developers and inform them of the problem. It would be nice to be able to write a message along with the crash report to explain why you might think the app is crashing or possible circumstances as to why the app has crashed. "Best open source tool available out there"
3.5/5
What do you like best about QuincyKit?

The biggest advantage of using Quncy kit is that you don't have to share your crash logs with any other company. Normally crashlytics and other similar company use your data for various analytical reasons. If you don't want your crash logs to be accessible any one else and want to build in house solution Quincy kit is your best best. You can pull out the server component and host it on your machines. It's easy to confer and works like charm.

The front end component uses PLCrashreporter which is used by most of the crash reporting tools. It's works like charm while integrating it on front end. No customization. Easy to setup. No need to worry about symbolication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuincyKit?

Can't attach custom logs, or any user specific data to crash logs. Filtering is restricted and analytical tools for crash reporting are that good like other free tools. It also does not catch memory crashes. Uploading DSYM files is still manual. Most of the other tools have good analytical interface for retrieving crash logs and understanding it's impact.
