Most importantly, Quicklizard allows us to approach pricing in a new way. As a large retailer with a diverse assortment, there are similarities between products that we were not able to exploit prior to the Quicklizard pricing group setup. This has allowed us to be more systematic in our pricing strategy. The great flexibility the team has demonstrated has allowed us to further refine this approach. The 'logic' behind how prices are generated is intuitive and easily explained even to casual users. Quicklizard is evidently a very flexible system as it has allowed us to develop and implement many custom functions that our business has requested. There's nothing I dislike about Quicklizard. However, there are some minor weaknesses that have been raised from my users, the most important of which is that it can be difficult to monitor our price position vs. defined competitors. There is some friction in the organization where users want avoid automated pricing since they use unaccepted price recommendations as a signal of a delta between us and a competitor whereas the pricing team want to avoid unaccepted price recommendations as these are not very diagnostic (i.e., we cannot know whether a recommendation has not been accepted because it has not yet been seen, or because the user disagrees with the recommended price). Maybe it would be possible to launch a seen/not yet seen function for recommendations? Sometimes updates are shipped without informing about it beforehand. Usually, these are restricted to UI and therefore not a big deal. For example, recently we received a family relations widget that was promptly removed from our account a day or so afterwards. I find Quicklizard really beneficial for my role, especially in aligning with our 'never knowingly undersold' policy using a commercially sensible approach. The solution architects and customer success manager have developed logic that supports our category teams effectively. I think it's a very accessible platform, and any issues or improvements we need regarding operational delivery and continuous improvement are always met with a 'yes, we can do it' attitude. Additionally, Quicklizard enables us to execute our competitive pricing policies by allowing us to remain within our market thresholds, match prices, launch promotions, and protect margins. I greatly appreciate the quick and reliable customer support from Quicklizard. I would particularly like to highlight the regular meetings, where there is always an effort to find the best possible solution for the customer and to keep the effort as low as possible. QuickLizard is a tool I utilize daily and I depend upon to execute my pricing strategy. Scraping all major competitive pricing was a very tedious process before and now I have access to this information by just logging into QL. Not only is visibility to competitive pricing important, but the ability to react and create sets of rules to automatically update my pricing has really made my life simpler. I am doing some of my pricing related work outside of the tool by downloading daily reports from QuickLizard and manipulating the data in Excel to get to the output I am looking for. With this tool, we've not only become far more efficient, reducing the time spent on data collection, but more importantly, our coverage has expanded significantly - both in terms of competition and catalog. Quicklizard helps us map out market prices - for our products and other brands - allowing us to respond quickly to changes. Their support team is responsive and cooperative. While the standard solution doesn’t always cover every need, the team is always open to feedback and, in most cases, finds a way to adapt the solution or create workarounds to help us achieving our goals. Having a dedicated Customer Success Manager has been invaluable, enabling us to accelerate our progress. The team is engaged and supportive and there are regular touchpoints - including weekly syncs, operational meetings, steering committee sessions, demo sessions - making the project more structured and ensuring ongoing alignment and continuous improvement.
