What I like best about QuickBooks Online is that it’s cloud-based, which means I can log in from any computer, anywhere. That flexibility is incredibly convenient. When we first made the switch, it felt familiar enough to the desktop version that the transition was smooth and easy to get behind. It used to be a great fit for our needs. One of the biggest frustrations with QuickBooks Online is the constant updates and forced changes to the interface—it feels like they’re trying to become an all-in-one platform but haven’t quite nailed the execution. The system frequently lags, and I’ve noticed that my login slows down significantly compared to my employees, likely because I’m in it more often. It seems like there’s a time limit or performance drop tied to user activity. Just when you get used to one update, another rolls out, making it hard to keep up. And unfortunately, the customer service hasn’t been helpful enough to make up for these issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
