The biggest problem I have with QuickBooks, in general, is just their apps. The app on my phone is just god awful. Can't run reports. Can't really do anything. I mean, it's very simple-minded, and it needs to be much more robust and more serviceable. If I could maybe save three specific reports, like if I want a P and L report, if I could just pull that from the phone app that would be a huge help. You get a 1:1 session with a "Success Manager" who helps you migrate your data (especially from Desktop to Online) and ensures your Chart of Accounts is set up correctly. Advanced is optimized for larger data sets. While the basic tiers might "hang" or lag when generating a year-long Profit & Loss statement with thousands of entries, Advanced uses more robust server resources to process those reports in seconds. Unexpected Savings: Because Advanced includes 25 users, many companies save money by moving their team off expensive third-party "reporting" or "approval" apps and doing everything directly inside QuickBooks. I like the time tracking features with the QuickBooks Time integration, which makes managing employee pay rates and projects easier. The inability to change dates on some transactions to assign them to the correct month for closing dates on month since we are a cash basis every month is zero but if I don't issue payment till next month I cant change it unless I pay by print. I also hoped for a better display of paying deductions from employees. example if I deduct for health insurance or for HSA it should automatically create either a bill or a check waiting to be processed currently I have to run a report figure out how much of each payroll liability i have to create bill for and pay. One issue is that when QuickBooks automatically reads and imports invoices, it occasionally captures information incorrectly, requiring me to make manual corrections.
