QBO Accountant does what all cloud based platforms do: it lets you access it from anywhere, allows multiple users concurrently on the same file, and has a fairly slick packaging that feels modern. What do you dislike about QuickBooks Online Accountant? Customized reporting, compared to what was possible in QB desktop, is severely lacking. The ability to filter is reduced to single levels, and the visual presentation of the information is locked into a style set that's virtually impossible to manipulate without exporting to Excel and doing it there. Additionally, the Audit Trail function which is crucial to seeing what may have changed in prior periods or what your clients may have done is buried in a bottom menu and difficult to read.
