"Robust ERP, But Everything Else Falls Short"
0.5/5
What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

QB Desktop is a robust ERP solution. That's about the only positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

Everything! First, it was so difficult to move and share my data. We had to maintain one computer dedicated to housing our accounting, which means all of our team has to switch off utilizing it. Secondly, because it's not in the cloud, its ability to integrate with other solutions we utilized was nonexistent. I would recommend several other cloud-based ERP solutions before ever suggesting QB Desktop. Lastly, and most importantly to me, when I needed help from customer support, I couldn't get it. Or I had to sit in a long queue. So we switched to a different solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Efficient, but Needs Better Customization"
5/5
What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

I feel QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is very intuitive, dynamic, and pretty easy to use. It's user-friendly, and I like how easy it is to post payments. Compared to other ERP systems where I had to go through multiple tabs to get an invoice, QuickBooks makes it feel like I'm not wasting time. Also, the initial setup was pretty easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

I'm going to say that, the customization on the different screens. Yeah, being able to add more fields to show, or to remove fields. But in depth, not just the basic ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Accounting with Robust Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

I find QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise very easy to use, which makes managing accounting tasks straightforward. It's very easy to see customer and supplier overviews, and there are a lot of standard reports like trial balance, management reporting, and periodic reports that are very helpful for quick management reporting. I also really like the nice dashboard. These features helped me in reducing my time for management reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

If QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise can add some shortcut key like SAP, or transaction codes which we can execute, it will be very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tailored for US Enterprise Inventory Management"
4/5
What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

I like QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise for its enterprise-grade, US retail/wholesale tailored inventory accounting, which is its biggest strength. The advanced inventory module is the single most valuable feature for my inventory-heavy business, and it’s the primary reason I chose it over QuickBooks Online or generic accounting software. It’s explicitly built for US multi-location, multi-channel retail/wholesale workflows and handles the scale of over 100k SKUs and millions of annual inventory transactions. It remains fully compliant with US GAAP and IRS inventory valuation rules. I also find the initial setup to be structured and robust, tailored for US mid-to-enterprise inventory-heavy businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

The native integration with my core e-commerce platform (CommerceV3) has sync delays (up to 24 hours) for US online sales/inventory data—critical during peak US sales seasons; integrating QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise with Tableau requires a custom API build (expensive and time-consuming) with no pre-built connector; and there’s no native integration with US email marketing tools (e.g., Klaviyo) to sync customer purchase/inventory data for targeted US regional campaigns (e.g., a Florida “out-of-stock” alert for a popular SKU). Third-party middleware also adds cost and latency—Zapier Premium for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise integrations costs an extra $200+/month, and syncs still have 1–2 hour delays. "Solid for Growing Businesses, But It Comes at a Cost. Great for non-profits."
3.5/5
What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

The inventory management is really nice, being able to track and add price ruling makes it way easier than tracking with excel documents. It was also quite easy to learn and utilize quickly. Implementing updates was very quick and error free. I appreicate the features it contains like the user permissions, being able to have multiple users on the same database at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

It's expensive. Espeically if you need to add users, payroll plans or cloud hosting. Keeping it local is highly recommended as the cloud features are limited and the interface is older. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Advanced, Customizable Reporting with Helpful Payroll and 7-Day Support"

What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

The advanced features, along with detailed, customer-focused reporting, are a big plus. I also like having a direct line by phone and chat, with availability seven days a week. What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?

Annual subscriptions feel expensive. The desktop version only works on the Windows operating system, which limits flexibility. Overall, it may be too complex for smaller businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
