I have to say, the program has evolved with its client base and I am very sorry I didn't switch to a different accounting software. It's very easy to use. The reports are customizable which is a blessing to me. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** The only thing I wish was faster was the startup time when you launch the program. E.g. if you want to check which chart of accounts has been updated since cut off date, its very easy to generate customized report to see the changes made by users. We operate in multiple countries now and the system only allows us to create so many buckets to keep track of departments, location and projects. Also, when working remotely the system slows down considerably, but this may be cause from our own IT infrastructure. I am accounts receivable and it's super easy to enter checks, create invoices from PO's or sales orders and to connect a paper trail that I can easily find. I love going to a bill I've entered and hitting "transaction history" and it pulls up the check number I used to pay it. It's very user friendly. We run reports on everything, ex: how many times have we sold this item in the last year. Do a quick report on that item and all the information you need is right there. How many times you sold it, ordered it, and how many are pending on jobs. ### 15. I often get unrecoverable errors. Think things through carefully, and dont just jump on in and get it going without lots of thought. I wish we were able to completely redo our set up, it's just not feasible. Gives you decent functionality into several functions that would cost a lot more with a traditional ERP. The advanced inventory module really helps track bin locations for multiple products thus improving the pick/pack efficiency. QB has also increasingly added more and more integrations in areas such as CRM , Barcoding, and Payroll. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** Least is the speed on which it runs. Our business has over 1000 SKUs and generating reports or even making certain inventory adjustments cause our RDP to slow down far too frequently. Quickbooks definitely slows down when hosted on a server which at times slows down the day-to-day workflow. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise:** While it lacks in convenience of access to QBO, QBE provides far more functionality under one roof. For Quickbooks Online, you would have to find an advanced inventory module to integrate with which increases the number of windows you'll have to work out of. Quickbooks Enterprise keeps everything under one roof. The next step up to keep everything under one roof with a ERP can be very costly and that jump should only be made when Quickbooks processing speed can't keep with your number of transactions. **What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are keeping great track of our inventory within our warehouse. We've been able to create "locations" for all of our pallet racks and shelves and then we are able to assign items to multiple locations. For example, pickable shelf of SKU "Dress331" and where the cases of that item are stored. This has greatly increased our pick/pack efficiency and given us a better understanding of inventory as a whole on our balance sheet. ### 21. QuickBooks Online organizes your financial information all in one place. QuickBooks will also help you pay your bills when they’re due. It was a good tool to manage the whole sale process, including the aspects of vendors, customers, and employees. You can easily find all the information needed in workplaces.Also it's easer for employees record customer information, and solve problems if they have qustions on their orders. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** It is the setup that is downright very bad and wastes a lot of time. The application process went well and got approved in minutes.The issue is that the link to complete the link and setup of QuickBooks Online Plus with the payroll ad on take a back end engineer to tweek things so the Payroll and Merchant Services will work together on my account.The list goes on but I don’t have time to write about the very rocky journey getting QuickBooks Online Plus set up. Like in our industry, we have lots of different type of inventory, it takes too long for setting up. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise:** I've talked to the employer, and quickbooks deskktop enterprise is the most useful software in financial department. We will continue using it. **What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we want to search a certain product that customers ordered, or they need an order copy from long time ago.Quickbook have almost everything we need. The upside is that their customer service is great. You can send a message and have someone call you within 5 minutes for help. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** I dislike that there are sometimes glitches. Sometimes I will click somewhere on the screen and it will jump to another section of the page unexpectedly which is frustrating. I wish there was more ability to undo and go back to where you were. I wish it were easier to link up merchant gateways to the system and import transactions. **What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I needed to solve was to record 6 months of transactions. It is beneficial that it is easy to go back to any date in the check register. ### 50. Procurify purchase orders are able to be imported into QuickBooks, which reduces data entry. I like that Quickbooks is forgiving in the sense that invoices can be adjusted and deleted easily. I like that the reports are typically very easy to pull and filter. I like that you can send invoices directly from QuickBooks. Bank reconciliations are easy to follow. Vendor and Customer set-up is easy. **What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise?** I do not like that QuickBooks has a glitch that makes the balance sheet off until you log out and log back in. I do not like that QB will not accept POs from Procurify that have any symbols, such as a %. I do not like that you cannot see the account code used if a PO is imported from Procurify. Although entries can be easily adjusted/deleted this can cause problems if an uneducated accountant is handling the books. **Recommendations to others considering QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise:** Very user friendly and easy to learn but it is very forgiving so entries can easily be deleted or manipulated so users of QuickBooks must be trustworthy. A new user can easily pick this up with the right training. **What problems is QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise solving and how is that benefiting you?** Automating data entry using the memorized transactions feature. Keep track of all credits to ensure we are not overpaying any invoices. Keep track of all aging balances to ensure quick collection efforts.
