"A good solution for basic integrations, with the ability to be extended to do heavy lifting."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The speed at which you can prototype out databases and get an immediate, basic solutions for operational issues is great. We find that the relationship structure makes it very easy to create virtually nested tables that can help elucidate a process and the summary tools an effective way to make sure that the relevant information is conveyed to it's siblings/parents. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Without the enterprise solution, having to contact support to enable some of the realm features has been mildy annoying, and QB is not a solution for storage en-masse. Even though we are pushing our data to our own cloud solution using QB as a middleware has been counting against our storage in our account analytics due to data retention. "Efficient, Customizable with Room for Improvement."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I use Quickbase to manage projects, financial reporting, and our mobile teams, and it's a big part of our operations. Quickbase helps us be more efficient and quicker in our processes, saving us a lot of labor hours while reducing mistakes and giving us cleaner data. It's easy to build and user-friendly, making it successful because people actually want to use it, and that's key. Due to its customization capabilities, we tailor it to our needs. It runs smoothly and quickly, with faster querying and searching compared to most other programs. Additionally, the community Quickbase has fostered is amazing, providing us help directly from other developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

A lot of the things that would actually help—like performance tools—require the Enterprise plan. That feels counterproductive, because I want Quickbase to run well before I spend more money on it. In my opinion, performance tools should be standard with every Quickbase account.

I’d also like them to focus on improving what they already have instead of constantly expanding into more new things. Put the effort into the new grid-style reports and into fixing bugs so we can actually implement and rely on them. In other words, settle in and make the current features work well before rolling out additional ones.

They could also get rid of Fast Field; no one wants to pay for it, and it doesn’t integrate well enough. On top of that, negotiations around cost and renewals haven’t been great, and I end up feeling very frustrated by the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The app to overcome any challenge that anyone can build!"
5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

You’re able to customize this app to meet your needs and adjust it as those needs change over time. The reporting you can leverage is excellent for presenting insights to every level of the organization. It’s helped us communicate our team’s work with metrics we didn’t have access to before, and we’ve been able to identify bottlenecks and work through them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

One thing I hear frequently is that people want dashboards that are customizable for each user. Overall, having more user-level customization would be great. I also don’t like having to pay extra for AI integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Turns Business Requirements into Real-Time Apps and Dashboards—Fast"
4/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

As a Business Analyst, what I like most about Quickbase is how quickly I can turn a business requirement into a working app, without getting stuck in a long IT development cycle. The relationship-based data model also makes it straightforward to connect operational data—jobs, engineers, assets—and then use that structure to build real-time dashboards that track things like job status and SLA compliance. On top of that, the workflow automation, such as status-change notifications, has reduced a lot of the manual follow-up I used to have to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

A few areas could be improved. The reporting and dashboard formatting options feel limited compared with dedicated BI tools like Power BI, so more complex visualizations often require workarounds. Performance can also slow down when working with tables that have large datasets or lots of complex formula fields. And while the low-code approach is great for moving quickly, permission and access management can become a bit fiddly to maintain as apps scale and additional user roles are introduced. Quickbase is user friendly platform that make it easy to manage and track daily tasks, audit and follow ups in one place. The dashbnoard is simple and the ability to update and monitor activities help improve coordination and visibility. It's very useful tool for maintaining records and ensuring timely action on pending points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The interface can sometime feel a little complex, especially for new users. Some feature require multiple step to complete simple tasks and the system can occasionally be slow when handaling larger records or update. It would be better with a more intutive interface and faster performance. "Flexible enough for our PMO needs."
3.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

The dashboards save me so much time honestly. I just log in and see where every project is at without bugging my team for updates. We used to have like five different trackers now its all in one place. Performance is solid too havent had any slowdowns even with a bunch of reports running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

We ran out of storage way faster then expected and had to delete old stuff which was annoying. Setting it up took longer than we thought cause we didnt plan well. Some features we wanted are only in the expensive plan so we have do without them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Drag-and-Drop Workflow with Mind-Blowing Performance"
4/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I love using dragging and dropping elements to match my actual workflow turns managing multiple programs into an effortless experience. The UI / UX also makes it practical for me to adjust the apps around the way we actually work instead of changing our process to fit the software. The performance of all its features is mind-blowing and provides reliable services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

One thing I actually appreciate about Quickbase, despite the initial effort, is how much control the advanced configurations give me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Workflow Management and Better Team Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I like how Quickbase makes it easy to manage workflows and keep projects organized. It has improved team collaboration and reduced a lot of manual work. As a project manager, I especially value being able to build workflows without needing technical expertise. The automation helps reduce errors and makes daily tasks more efficient, while the initial setup was also straightforward and easy to get started with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

I find that some features, such as advanced workflows, custom reports, and dashboards, take a bit of time to learn. Quickbase could make this easier with more guided tutorials, simple templates, and clearer in-app guidance for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quickbase Makes App Building, Automation, and Reporting Fast and Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

I used Quickbase as part of my work on an enterprise project where multiple teams needed to track requests, project progress, and operational data in one place. What I liked most was how configurable the platform is without requiring extensive coding. We were able to customize forms, tables, and reports to fit our business process instead of changing the process to match the tool. I regularly used dashboards and reports to monitor work status, review records, and identify pending tasks. The built-in automation and notifications also helped reduce manual follow-ups by automatically updating team members when records changed or approvals were needed. Since everything was stored in a centralized application, it was much easier to collaborate with different teams and ensure everyone was working with the latest information. Another feature I appreciated was how quickly changes could be made when business requirements evolved. Adding new fields, updating workflows, or modifying reports was straightforward, which helped us respond to changing client needs without lengthy development cycles. Overall, Quickbase made our day-to-day tracking more organized, improved visibility across the team, and reduced the amount of manual work involved in managing business processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Overall, my experience with Quickbase has been positive, but there are a few areas that could be improved. While the platform is very flexible, configuring more advanced workflows, formulas, and relationships between tables can take some time to learn, especially for new users without prior experience. I also noticed that applications with a large number of records and highly customized reports can occasionally take longer to load. The user interface is easy to navigate once you're familiar with it, but some sections feel a bit dated and could be more intuitive. Finally, although Quickbase offers many customization options, implementing complex business requirements sometimes requires additional planning and testing to ensure everything works as expected.

These are relatively minor issues compared to the overall value the platform provides, but addressing them would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Overall Functionality and Potential AI Capability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase has been helpful for managing our existing logs and organizing information across different service areas. Our DSS department uses it to track client data, which we previously managed in an Excel spreadsheet. It addressed the problem of multiple staff members trying to edit the same file at once, which used to cause issues. Overall, it’s been smooth to use, and we haven’t had any complaints with what we currently have in place. I also appreciate the flexibility to create test applications so I can explore potential uses for other departments. Pricing is fair and worth the functionality. We haven't had any issues with performance or integration of existing data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Before Quickbase, we relied heavily on Excel for tracking client information, and it wasn’t working well. Staff ran into issues with multiple people editing the same file, which led to errors and inefficiencies. Quickbase eliminated those problems by providing a centralized platform where everyone can access and update information without conflicts. It’s also helped us explore ways to streamline processes, like maintenance tracking and capturing signatures, though those are still in the early stages. Overall, Quickbase has made managing data easier and more reliable for the department that uses it. We would like to see more features related to signature capturing that is integrated into QuickBase and not a third party attachment. AI features are being introduced constantly so that has been a great addition to existing functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
