I think there are a lot of good options within this platform. They have been focusing on upgrading the technology with AI and other options to make a cleaner approach. We utilize different options within this platform, including our primary reporting database, project management, among others. The tools have become easier to use over time. More recently the support team has become helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Quickbase? My first thought is the customer support. Over years of use, we have had numerous CSMs, Account Managers, etc...many of which were non-responsive, unsupportive, and in many cases difficult to work with. While that had gotten better in 2022-2023, it fell off again in 2024. It's a revovlving door of people who don't seem to know much about our account. Currently, it provides our entire reporting database. We upgraded this over the past couple of years with better dashboards. It's still a little clunky, but it's progressing. The Project Management platform has not been as successful. We hope that with upgrades, this will allow us to better manage our projects in a more streamlined fashion. I love the ability to build applications quickly without needing to develop complex schemas or relationships through SQL or an ORM. The ease of use makes it accessible and efficient for development. My experience with customer support has been mixed—at times, I felt rushed through the process so tickets could be closed quickly, but I’ve also had excellent 1-on-1 support with hands-on guidance that really stood out. For a long time, Pipelines felt like a half-baked solution that wasn’t fully complete. Error handling and messaging remain a large pain point, as it’s often unclear what went wrong when something fails. Additionally, Pipelines still feels like an external tool rather than a fully integrated Quickbase feature, almost like a less sophisticated version of Power Automate. I think quickbase is just another tool that is translating backend information into visual format, but this can be done in simple excel also atleast for the usage in my organisation. The generated report is not self explanatory and one has to spend quite some time to navigate through different buttons. Quickbase doesn't seem to have many limits. Reports are easy to create and personalize. I am a daily user and a very new administrator having recenly graduated from Quickbase University. Quick base is not easy to manipulate behind the scenes. Our apps were built with lots of depth and detail by a builder with knowledge than I will ever hope to have. She is no longer with the company. I am constantly concerened about Quickbase increasing the price of their usage plans. They change their pricing more than any company I've ever worked with, and sometimes those increases make me question whether I should continue to devleop on their platform or recomend it to my clients.
