What do you like best about Toad For Oracle?

Toad is a small beast around SQL development, you can have thousands of tables and the indexation and current searchs work fantastic, if I had to describe it in one word it should be fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toad For Oracle?

I kind of miss some features like more semantic control around the language used, sometimes I have to import the code to notepad++ to make faster changes in portions of code. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Toad For Oracle:

Toad is your best chance if your focus on DB SQL is not secondary issue, if you deploy and work with any other more big software like Eclipse and your SQL use is not the main focus in the project I can't recommend Toad enough, it loads very fast, it provides not many options but it's more than enough for light revisions of code and fast debugs. What problems is Toad For Oracle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Almost anything SQL related can be solved with this fast software, but mostly when it comes to searches if you use proper indexation it flies around thousands of tables, even on not related tables it works surprisingly fast, sometimes I hope the search algorithm is adapted to other software I use to have this fast response on any software. What do you like best about Toad For Oracle?

Functionality and ability to be integrated with multiple databases in Toad helps with performing a variety of analyses. Making changes to tables is also easy with Toad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Toad For Oracle?

Toad has an archaic UI and is incredibly slow while opening. IT also crashes several times, slowing down the process even further. Toad also has long periods of lags and other software hangs while working on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
